Ten years after they break up, fate brings them together again, and the flaring flames are hotter than ever
Kendra O'Neill has a successful career as jewelry specialist at the premier auction house in Chicago. When a super-exclusive necklace is brought to her desk for auction, she has no choice but to meet the man who made it. The only man she's ever loved, the man who broke her heart more than a decade ago.
Ryan Armstrong is a highly sought-after goldsmith and jeweler. He has everything: a career he loves, all the money he wants, friends, a loving family, casual relationships with the best-looking women in Chicago. But when he sees Kendra O'Neil again, he suddenly realizes that without her, his life is empty and shallow.
The attraction between them is hotter than ever, but both of them are still suffering from the hurt they caused each other so many years ago. Can they overcome the pain and find a way to forgive each other for the past mistakes? Or will they keep hurting each other?
This is the second book in the Armstrong series, a big family contemporary romance with hunky alpha men and strong, empowered women. It includes steamy scenes and deep emotions.
Each of the books can be read as stand alone novel, but for bigger enjoyment you might want to read them in order. Characters from one book follow through to the next books.
THE ARMSTRONGS
Power of Love (Trevor and Nicole) Forever my Love (Ryan and Kendra) Daring to Love (Evan and Charlene) Surprised by Love (Douglas and Antonia) Travel, Live, Love (Patrick and Angela) Explosion of Love (Samantha)
Forever My Love is book two in the Armstrong series by Jessica Gray. It is just as good as book one. Kendra O’Niell has a lady come to the auction house where she works with a ruby necklace she wishes to have auctioned off. Since her job is to verify the necklace and its province, Kendra begins to look at where the necklace came from. She doesn’t want to have an item go on auction that has been stolen. Kendra recognizes the necklace as the work of Ryan Armstrong. He is a jeweler of some renown and she travels to his workshop to talk to him and see if he recognizes it and can tell her who he sold it to. Ryan will not divulge the customer who ordered the necklace; however, he agrees to be the go-between to see if the lady who brought the necklace to Kendra was indeed entitled to it. Neither Kendra nor Ryan are looking for love; but does it find them?
4 stars I purchased a copy of Forever My Love by Jessica Gray back in May and this review was given freely.. Forever My Love is the second in the Armstrong series and is a well written steamy second chance at romance novel. In this edition, Kendra and Ryan have a rocky start but their love that started in high school now flourishes. The happy ending romance, Ryan's tender care of Kendra when she gets injured and the strong family bond between the Armstrongs are just a few of the reasons i enjoyed this book.
This is the second book in the Armstrong Series and I loved it. Loved that they were high school sweethearts that find their way back to each other. I really enjoyed this second book and started the 3rd in this series. Can't seem to get enough of the Armstrong family. If you want a enjoyable read go grab a Jessica Gray book.
