As someone who is a fan of these three authors, this collection was an automatic must read for me. I really enjoyed these novellas. Sarah’s is fast paced and full of dangerous moments with really bad guys on the trail of Oakleigh, the kids and Joseph. Jayna’s is brimming with Christmas cheer and legal drama, and Kimberley’s takes us to Alaska and Louisiana all the while making your mouth water for all the gumbo and Louisiana dishes she mentions in this story. Excellent collection of stories!

This was an enjoyable no spice Christian romantic suspense novella trio. Set in the winter around Christmastime, I enjoyed immersing myself in the timing of snow, festivities, and the upcoming holiday as the school year rapidly approaches in the heat where I’m at. I’ve read from all of these authors before and it was fun to see them come together to write this collection. I loved the way they titled their individual contributions. Such a great idea! This collection is full of second chance romance with faith-filled strivings. Some are heavier on the romance and others on the thrilling and dangerous suspense. The romance in these novellas is just kisses, intimacy levels 1-2.

I really enjoyed this novella. Children in danger, second chances, and a wintery setting encompass this story. Having the background of foster care was a good addition to this book. This story is fast moving with the danger but we also get some sweet moments with the second chance romance. Throw in a Christmas celebration, and I’m all ready to dive into more holiday reads! The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 1. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

This contribution felt more like a contemporary legal romance than a romantic suspense. It was a good read for a Christian second chance romance, but the suspense angle was nonexistent. I was also surprised at how abruptly the story ended. Though it was less than 100 pages, this novelette had a lot of information having to do with the legal issues, along with medical and scientific information, which was definitely an interesting addition. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 2.

The further I got in this novella, the more it accelerated! I’ve read her Alaskan Cyber Hunters series trilogy, but it’s been a minute. I enjoyed spending time in both Alaska and Louisiana during this book. Being given background information for this book and its personal connection to Woodhouse was especially meaningful. This was a sweet second chance romance with a lot of faith, forgiveness, food, and suspense filtered in. This book definitely kept me guessing. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 1. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

Let me start with I love Christmas stories. And, this book of 3 novellas didn't disappoint. Each of the 3 authors had their own story and each one was very enjoyable. They are all good clean romance books. From trying to get kids to their aunt, to an ex, and then a food truck, I loved them all. Each is a complete story. This is a great group of 3 novellas that you don't want to miss. I did receive a copy from the author, but the review is my own opinion.

DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE BY Sara Hamaker

Oakleigh receives a stranger call from her foster sister she has not heard from in awhile. She is requested to meet her and needs help. To her surprise she finds out her foster sister is in danger and needs Oakleigh to take her two children and protect them. This is where I would be shaking my head wondering what I just got myself into. Hang on to your seats as Oakleigh pairs up with an old flame called Joseph to help her get to a safe place for the children. There are some tense moments as danger starts to surround them in this suspenseful story. Be sure to pay attention as subtle hints are given to help solve the mystery. Nice light romantic suspense story that will be liked by those who love a good ending,

DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR BY Jayna Breigh

It’s Christmas time and Elise is all ready to set sail on a fabulous cruise. You know how it is. Things don’t always turn out like you want. A phone call from her boss finds her vacation cancelled with last minute legal documents that must be filed. So much for a sweet relaxing vacation. Did I forget to mention that Elise’s ex-fiancé shows up. What could possibly go wrong now?

Thank you Elise and Jack for many sweet memories of Christmas like making cookie houses and taking time to realize you may still have a chance to reconnect. Better get those cookie houses built before the contest is over. The story takes on a twist when Elise and Jack discover that Elise’s legal case hits home for Jack.

Nana is the most endearing character I’ve ever read about. She loves to take care of others and secretly is pushing to get Elise and Jack back together. With Christmas carols everywhere they go, lights and tress glowing in homes and stores they must feel that Christmas is filled with miracles. Nana reminds Jack that, “ Jesus is in the forgiving business.” Will Jack take Nana’s words to heart and ask Elise to forgive him? Can Elise get this very important case tied up in time? Don’t miss the action in this story and witness how Jesus shows what forgiveness can bring in a new beginning to two deserving people.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT I KNOW? BY Kimberly Woodhouse

Oh how I love cooking shows. The funny thing is I can’t cook. Opening to read this story gave me excitement as we are witnessing a cooking contest being broadcast live. Faith is nervous but comfort food is sure to win the judges over. With no room to move around she has to concentrate as cameras are intruding on her space.

Gabe is a very skilled chef with hopes of winning the contest he is in. It was so fun to read about the skills he and Faith had as chefs with a culinary background in Louisiana cooking. There is nothing better than southern cooking. As the time starts to tick away an accident happens which will change the course of Faith and Gabe’s future.

A great story about pride and how it can destroy relationships and dreams you may have had. I really liked how the author illustrated forgiveness and reminds us we need to forgive ourselves as well. Set against the Alaskan backdrop you will find two flawed characters who face trials and turn to faith for help.

I have a favorite out of the three and that is not based on the capability of the writers by any means but on the story type. I love the girl rescued by burly man who loves God because that’s how I envision Jesus. He’s my Rescue my man of the hour who comes in and saves the day on the daily for me. So anything that relates to that (my awesome husband) has me giddy.

These three stories are a sweet prelude to the holidays you may have been looking for as you wait for the moment you can finally put up your tree. But honestly, I live with Christmas in my heart year round.

I enjoyed Do you see what I see by Sarah Hamaker for it’s perfect genre of girl needs rescue suspense.

I enjoyed Do you hear what I hear by Jayna Breigh for its second chances and legal drama.

And… last but certainly not least, I enjoyed Do you know what I know for the foodie style mystery that has me wanting to cook some Cajun food like right now.

Three very unique stories all together so you don’t have to pick. No yuck, smut or anything untoward, just good writing surrounding my favorite time of the year.

All three are clean second-chance romances with strong threads of faith and forgiveness, and each author’s writing style shines through.

Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamaker – 3.25 stars
This novella is fast-paced and full of danger and suspense. It keeps you guessing until the satisfying ending.

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Breigh – 4.25 stars
I love Ms. Breigh’s ability to turn a great phrase, make legal details understandable, and introduce us to memorable side characters. She packed a lot of Christmas ambiance into this novella, including mention of my favorite event in World War One and of a beloved Christmas TV program.

Favorite quote: “If love could be bottled and spooned out like honey over a biscuit, that would be Nana.”

If this were fleshed out into a full-length novel, I suspect I’d give it 5 stars. The ending came far too soon for my taste.

Do You Know What I Know? by Kimberley Woodhouse – 4.25 stars
As always, this author presents a story full of hope and faith-filled main characters. And it was SO entertaining to read about such amazing, mouthwatering cuisine. She gets bonus points for including such a helpful glossary of Cajun words, phrases, names, and food.

What an amazing Christmas
novella collection! All three stories have a second chance romance, but that's where the similarities end.

Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamaker had my adrenaline pumping. There are children who need protection in the story, so I was invested! The mystery played out well, and I loved the swoony hero.

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Breigh is a legal drama and a workout for your brain. I have read and loved Jayna's two full-length novels, so I was excited for a Christmas story, and she did not disappoint. She took full advantage of the season and included scripture and Christmas hymns. She also had a lovable Grandma keeping everyone in line.

Do You Know What I Know? by Kimberley Woodhouse was an amazing combo of adrenaline and working my brain! There's a nod to her Alaskan Cyber Hunters series, but the story is unique with chefs and cooking competitions. I loved how she set the story up for us, including a glossary. And there's an epilogue. I don't know how she packed so much into a novella!

I enjoyed these stories, and I think they will appeal to a wide variety of readers. Suspense isn't my go to genre, and I loved them!

This anthology was so incredibly good. It was very hard to put down and I enjoyed every story. Each story was so good and had great characters. I love second chances stories with intrigue and mystery and each of these stories had that. The last one was really good. I loved the contrast between Louisiana and Alaska. Such different places but both with such beauty. This is definitely a book worth reading.

Three great stories leading up to Christmas by three great authors. Stories of second chance love, forgiveness and God's protection. My favorite was Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamker....I loved the suspense of not knowing why the men were after Oakleigh and the children. Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Breigh was a legal mystery, second chance romance and Do You Know What I Know? was a fun second chance romance with two chefs in a fundraiser. Do you hear what I hear by Jayna Breigh is another great legal drama read. Elise and Jack’s reintroduction to each other is hilarious! It is a book full of hope and a fresh start.

Do you know what I know by Kimberly Woodhouse is such a treat! A surprise nod to the Members of her cyber hunter series was just the icing on the cake. You can never go wrong with a Kimberly Woodhouse book. I enjoyed learning about Louisiana cuisine and culture. Gabe and Faith are a good example of the change that Christ can do in your life. And how he can work things out for good to those who love Him!

What a fun novella collection of Christmas romantic suspense and second chances!

1) "Do you See What I See?" by Sarah Hamaker Her estranged foster sister desperately needs help so Oakley rushes to meet her at the bus station. Her foster sister asks Oakley to take her children to her aunt, soon they are all being hunted by a ruthless gang looking for something her foster sister had taken. Oakley broke up with Joseph 7 years ago, yet he is the only one she trusts to help her. A story of staying alive and sweet second chances.

2) "Do You Hear What I Hear?" by Jayna Breigh. I love Jayna Breigh's excellent writing! I was hooked from the beginning. A beautiful story of forgiveness and second chances. And I love Elise Sinclair's granny and her words of wisdom to both Elise, and Elise's fiancé Jack who has been gone for a year. "A life with her would be a million times more valuable than his name in a research journal. Time to commence Operation Win Elise Back." I thoroughly enjoyed this novella!

3) "Do You Know What I Know?" by Kimberley Woodhouse Excellent inspirational southern "foodie" tale set in Alaska with two former best friends; Faith Thibodeaux and Gabe Rougeau. They grew up together, were best friends, fell in love, went to culinary school together until Gabe blew it. A story of Louisiana Cajun culinary delights, forgiveness, mystery, and second chances are sure to delight readers, I know I really enjoyed it! I really enjoyed all the friends, the competition, the faith, and the community both in Alaska and in Louisiana.

I enjoyed each of these quick read novellas, and they kept my attention, just wished that they were a little longer!
Each story involves a broken relationship, although for very different reasons.
The first story "Do You See What I See?" at times had my heart in my throat, there is a lot of danger, especially with young children involved!
The second "Do You Hear What I Hear?", a young lawyer awakes to find her ex sleeping in her home! There is so much going on here and she needs help, will they make it in time?
The third "Do You Know What I Know?" and we are in Alaska/Louisiana, and again we are with a broken relationship, but there is a lot more going on here. We are offered betrayal, cooking competition, and danger.
These are great Christian reads, with a theme of forgiveness!

I saw this book cover and I have such a love for Christmas/Christmas fiction that I had to get a copy! It was an overall good book and it was interesting seeing these three authors come together for it.

Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamaker
This story is a definite page-turner, but it was unsettling for me how intense the story was. Oakleigh and Joseph are true heroes, LOVED Joseph's family but they are considered minor characters, but there are also some determined bad guys in this one set on ruining Christmas for Oakleigh and her foster sister's kids. The kids are terrorized more than once in the story and threatened and Oakleigh never gets answers for why that is, but she finds out at the end why this is happening. However, will it be too late for her and Joseph once she realizes how to stop the bad men? One character is murdered off page, but their death made me gasp. A main character is shot and injured. Very well written, but the intensity didn't edify me.

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Reigh
Really had trouble connecting with this one so didn't finish it. There is more Christmas spirit in this one and less intensity, but it was my first time reading Reigh's work and wasn't for me.

Do You Know What I Know? by Kimberley Woodhouse **4 stars**
Really LOVED this story most in this collection! Faith is trying to find her place in the cooking world as the talented chef she is. Unfortunately, her world is turned upside down when she suffers an unexpected accident while competing for best chef. Years later she is able to open a food truck in Alaska with her best friend before learning her ex-boyfriend is ALSO in Alaska as a successful chef.

The press turns this into a story that is inaccurate while her ex looks for a way to apologize and give her closure. All the while this is going on, someone is sabotaging BOTH their kitchens! Really had NO idea how these two would make peace when another competition opportunity comes up and we witness a crazy storm that affects their beloved neighbors. Faith's best friend is my fave character in the story and kudos to Woodhouse for bringing awareness to real life storms and how they accurately affect the residents living there.

Despite my not falling in love with all three stories, I'm grateful for the chance to read them. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ecopy provided, I was not required to write a positive review.

This was a book filled with suspense and second chances set at Christmas time. I loved how all three stories have titles that ask, "Do you...?"

In the first story, Sarah Hamaker gives us Do You See What I See? which finds Oakleigh Wright on the run from an unknown danger at the behest of her foster sister with said sister's two children. But when Oakleigh finds herself in desperate need she reaches out to the man she thought she would one day marry. It's the season of miracles and Oakleigh needs one pronto.

Next up is Jayna Breigh's Do You Hear What I Hear? which finds Elise Sinclair's job as a trial lawyer crushing her Christmas plans which brings her face-to-face with the fiancé who broke her heart over the opportunity of a lifetime that didn't go so well. With a tight timeline Elise has to rely on Jack to help her find proof that a company knowingly hid important details that caused life-altering damages. Could this search help Elise forgive the man she still loves? Maybe if he can own up to just how wrong he was.

The final story is Kimberley Woodhouse's Do You Know What I Know? which finds Faith Thibodeaux recovering from a horrible accident that was one more betrayal in her life. But Faith is making a name for herself in Alaska with her authentic Cajun-style food truck. When her ex-boyfriend shows up in Alaska let's just say it becomes a newsworthy event and finds them in a Gumbo cookoff. This story has a tie in to the author's previous Alaskan romantic suspense series which made this a fun read - though intense.

Each story is clean reading Romantic Suspense set during the Christmas season which gives warm fuzzy feelings unless your hoped-for love interest dumps you before showing up to throw Christmas into a jumbled mess of feelings and hoped for second chances. Of course, there needs to be a bit of sleuthing before hopes of a happily-ever-after can be explored. This is a great way to discover a new author with this 3-in-1 book.

A wonderful collection filled with faith, redemption, and second chance romances.

Do You See What I See? by @sarah.s.hamaker is filled with faith, danger, and romance. Oakleigh is caring, brave, and devoted. Joseph is protective, gentle, and determined. I loved little Desi and Chale, and the amazing connections that Oakleigh and Joseph had with them. The danger following Oakleigh was intense. I loved how she depended on Joseph and trusted him with her full past. I loved that they prayed together and their restored relationship was perfect.
A favorite quote: ❄️ Seventy-two hours for his heart to remind him of all the things he’d loved about Oakleigh. Four thousand three hundred and twenty minutes of falling in love with her all over again. ❄️

Do You Hear What I Hear? by @jaynabreigh is a fun lawyer-y story. Elsie is intelligent and struggling with past hurts. Jack is patient and compassionate. Nana! Nana was the highlight of the story. I loved her independence and how she told Elsie and Jack like it is while shining the love of Jesus. I enjoyed how their past was revealed and their current situations aligned. I loved their honesty and their path forward through forgiveness.
A favorite quote: “Why would I do that?” “Because that boy loves you. Because people make mistakes, Puddin’. Big ones. Little ones. We all need grace.”

Do You Know What I Know? by @kimberleywoodhouse is filled with Louisiana cooking, faith, and friendship. Faith is strong and determined. Gabe is gentle and steadfast. I loved all of the Cajun cooking and the fundraiser/competition. I loved the change God worked in Gabe’s heart! I loved the healing, forgiveness, and restoration Faith and Gabe found.
A favorite quote: 🧑🏻‍🍳 The only thing that mattered to him at the moment was Faith. Which brought clarity to what he’d been thinking all week. His heart still belonged to Faith Thibodeaux. 👩🏼‍🍳

We learn about the power of forgiveness. “Forgiveness is the way to healing.” When we forgive, we release ourselves from the prison of bitterness. “Lord, God… Help me to pour out forgiveness. Please help no more bitterness to grow.” Sometimes we cannot forgive in our strength. We need to press into God and forgive in His strength.
Life can be difficult at times. We need to lean on God. “Mummy said you talked to God. How do you do that?” asked a five-year-old. God is literally just a prayer away. He will calm all the storms of life. “She’d had to give it completely over to God so she didn’t worry.” We must worry about nothing, and pray about everything.
In Kimberley Woodhouse’s tale Do You Know What I Know?, there ius a literal storm. We witness the community pulling together.
Within life, we may meet bad people. We know that whatever happens, when we know God, we can know that He is in control.
A character in Sarah Hamaker’s story Do You See What I See?, has little self-worth. “When you come from a bad home life… and… aren’t wanted by anyone, you start to believe no one will want to be with you.” She needs to know that she is loved, and that people will stick around.
All three tales are about faith in God and new beginnings. It is never too late to have a second chance. Prodigals do return, both figuratively and literally.
We learn about what love is. “Committed love protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres.”
There was an eclectic mix of characters who were well drawn, believable and likable.
I thoroughly enjoyed all three stories. Though set in December, they can be enjoyed at any time of year. There are life lessons for us all.

I have read two other books by Kimberly Woodhouse but this is my first time reading anything by Sarah Hamaker or Jayna Breigh. This novel is a collection of three novellas, Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamaker, Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Breigh, and Do You Know What I Know? by Kimberly Woodhouse.

Do You See What I See? by Sarah Hamaker is the first book I have read by her. It revolves around Oakleigh Wright and Joseph Talbot. They dated years ago but are no longer together when Oakleigh calls him for help. Of course, he came to her aid without hesitation. This book has it all. It has suspense, mystery, and romance. It grabs your attention at the beginning and never lets it go.

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Jayna Breigh is the first book I have read by her. I was excited when I started this novella to realize it is set in Asheville, North Carolina at Christmas. I love that area at Christmas. This story revolves around Elise Sinclair and her ex-boyfriend, Jack Grant. The way they are re-introduced to each other after thirteen months apart made for an interesting scene. In my opinion, unlike the first novella in the collection, this novella was only a romance and not romantic suspense. It was still really good though.

Do You Know What I Know? by Kimberly Woodhouse is not the first book I have read by this author. I enjoyed the other books I have read by her. This novella had both mystery and romance. It also had a little bit of suspense but some of the plot that revolved around the suspense felt like a secondary story.

Overall, I enjoyed all three of these novellas and would recommend them.

All in all, this was a great variety of reads! I loved that it centered around second chance romances. The suspense wasn't as prominent in all stories like I was expecting ... but all in all, a great collection.

This story was my favorite in the book. It was full of faith, page turning action, and a second chance romance that I truly enjoyed. Add in the sweet children and the history between Oakleigh and Joseph that needed mending, and I was completely invested in their story.

This was a sweet second chance romance with a dash of suspense. Years ago, Gabe and Faith were best friends turned lovers, but their competitive chef careers drove them apart. Now, entering a fundraiser together gives them a second chance they don’t want to ruin. I loved all the delicious foodie moments throughout the story! The suspense wasn’t blended into the story quite the way I would have preferred, but overall this was a great read.

Christmas already? Yes. This is a great read by three different authors. "Do You See What I See?" by Sara Hamaker is a page turner. Oakleigh Wright's foster sister calls out of the blue and asks Oakleigh to meet her at the bus station. Little does Oakleigh know she now has responsibility for two small children. Her former friend, Joseph, helps her and the kids dodge a killer. See what happens and how they handle everything.
In the second novella, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" by Jayna Breigh is a twisty law story. Elise Sinclair is supposed to be on a cruise, but instead she's working through Christmas on a case that has lots of twists. Enter her former boyfriend who ditched her for a fellowship in Australia. Elise has to find a needle in a haystack of paperwork for the case. Jack is at loose ends and is able to help her look through paperwork. Unknowingly, Jack's situation and Elise's case is tied together. Christmas miracles still happen.
In the last novella, " Do You Know What I Know?" by Kimberly Woodhouse makes your mouth water. Faith Thibodeaux is a sought-after chef of Cajun food. Her life has been changed because of food competitions. First by her former boyfriend who broke her heart in competition and second by a fellow contestant who caused an explosion that landed Faith with bad burns. Faith has a food truck that is doing great but enter the former boyfriend who wants to apologize and who runs a five-star restaurant. Her last competition is the best yet. Highly recommend this book. I was given an advance copy of this novella, but these are my own thoughts and words.

This set of stories is very enjoyable, containing Christian romances with a bit of suspense, some more than others. They all contain very good Christian elements. I highly recommend the set.

Very good Christian romance. Very little suspense.

When Faith is badly burned in a cooking competition, she must learn to forgive the person who caused the fire. She must also learn to forgive her ex-boyfriend who let his ambitions and competitiveness destroy their relationship. Gabe, her former boyfriend, has now moved from New Orleans to Alaska, not knowing that Faith has also started a business there. Can Gabe put aside his competitive nature to win back the woman he loves? Can Faith trust him again?
This is a story with lots of humor, grief, romance, and Christian principles.

Do You See What I See by Sarah Hamaker:
First time reading this author and she does a great job of putting suspense into a surprise encounter, weaving a faith thread of forgiveness and going beyond for a friend. Oakleigh has a love that shows obedience to the Golden Rule.
Do You Hear What I Hear by Jayna Breigh:
It is always fun to read a Jayna Brieigh story. She really conveys what is in a character’s head. Second chance with Jack is possible but only with forgiveness and compassion. It helps that Elise and Jack are searching for answers together. Legalese is understandable and enjoyable.
Do You Know What I Know by Kimberley Woodhouse:
A food contest with two people who are surprised to see eachother. Set in Alaska and with danger cropping up, the sparks fly again for Faith and Liam as Liam seeks forgiveness and they both seek God’s will.
These three accomplished authors put their own expertise into three wonderful novellas. They showcase second chances, love and forgiveness in a charming and suspenseful way.

All three of these novellas have a common them besides the Christmas song, and that is second chances. I enjoyed reading this collection that is different from other holiday themed books.

Oakleigh and Joseph reconnect after years of heartache and being apart. The drama is high as they try to figure out what Oakleigh’s friend involved them in. I love the children that are part of the story.

Do You Hear What I Hear? Jayna Breigh
Elise has to cancel her plans to travel over Christmas in order to prepare her law firm’s case against a pharmaceutical company. I loved Nana’s wisdom and a bit of rekindling the love that Elise and Jack once had. I liked the twist that was in the story, but I felt it ended abruptly.

Do You know What I Know? Kimberley Woodhouse
This was my favorite of the novellas with a high stakes cooking competition and the opportunity for Faith and Gabe to let things go and move onto a better future. The transformation that Gabe experienced had me rooting for him the whole time. There is a tense scene that will keep you quickly turning pages to make sure everything will be okay.
