As always a massive thank you to K.E. Osborn for the ARC of Reckless. I always love getting more of the Defiance men especially when they're the more mysterious ones. The problem is I have a hard time saying goodbye and I'll miss this being the last full length Las Vegas Defiance book.
What you can always expect from an Osborn novel: action packed, pulling on the feels and a page turner and of course this one is no different. This time it follows the mysterious Ghost, the one who watches, calculates, and never misses a thing. And he can't help but notice and be drawn to Sage.
Sage is the woman who fights for the voiceless, carrying a secret that could get them both killed. She's doing it to keep Ghost and his brothers safe, but Ghost can't help but notice and calculate.
If you're looking for a story where the man will do anything to keep his woman safe, then this is a read you should pick up. Filled with family and loyalty and just about everything in between!
While this chapter is ending, I'm super excited for the next Defiance chapter that we get introduced to.

Sage is a caseworker who spends her countless hours working and being the voice for those unable to use their own. She loves what she does, but lately every grant she has applied for has been rejected, so she begins and investigation and stockpiling evidence. Ghost is the silent yet deadly type, the man who stays in the background watching everything and calculating his every move. Ghost is drawn to Sage from the moment she sits with him, and when he realises they are both investigating the same person he suggests pooling their resources.
I loved everything about Sage and Ghost's story. She was stubborn, a fighter, someone used to doing things on her own, the very reasons Ghost admired her. When Sage was threatened Ghost was willing to do absolutely anything to keep her safe. Protecting her, her sister Piper, and his MC family became his priorty. As the drama and tension were increasing, it was the evolution f Sage and Ghost's relationship which had me swooning and sighing ... they were perfect for each other.
The most momentous moment of the book must go to Victoria's labour, I laughed, cried, and felt every emotions experienced by the entire club. Kim certainly knows how to express those realistic emotions through her words and once again they were absolute perfection. Kim has one more surprise from Las Vegas Defiance, a companion novella titled Speechless , and knowing who are the lead characters .... I can't wait! Then we're all off to the Montana chapter of Defiance, and after having an introduction to a few of them in this book I can't wait for their stories.

Reckless is Las Vegas Defiance book four and the second-to-last book in this chapter of the series. Oh, what a rip-snorter of a beginning it has too, so much love, angst, celebration, and excitement. Talk about hooking a reader in and one of the best parts is that it’s over 400 pages, yes!
Sage Matthews is a selfless protector of others. She has such a caring and kind disposition, no wonder she chose the career that she did. Ghost is the member who always has your back but never in a loud ‘Deek’ way. Instead, he works behind the limelight and checks things out to ensure the safety of others and his club. He is the same as Sage—kind and caring but in a different way. In this, they match perfectly. I love Sage’s description of Ghost—“The man has the personality of a locked filing cabinet…” 😀 This might be true but she has trouble keeping her eyes averted.
Sage has a secretive side with the potential to blow up in her face and possibly others’. She is not doing this for any other reason than trying to work through problems and not bring others down. Ghost, luckily, is so observant of Sage that he notices things start to change and investigates on his own.
This fast-paced, suspenseful story is a page-turner where I literally read and scrolled as quickly as I could to know what was happening. Talk about an emotional ride—but in a good way.

I'm not sure how Ms. Osborn delivers an unputdownable book every single time but she does. This series is one of my MC favourites. Reckless will pull on your heartstrings, and cheering for Ghost and Sage. Talk about two people who are opposites yet at the same time complement one another and belong together.

What a fantastic book to finish this series with. I will miss the Las Vegas chapter. Ghost is always quiet, keeps to himself, always on his computer and always keeping everyone safe. Sage has made it her mission to make Ghost notice her. She moves her chair next to him, she brings him jerky and always in his space. But when Ghost notices someone is taking a little more interest in a company that Sage works with, A company that helps people in need, he decides to follow the leads to find out who is behind it. Unbeknownst to Ghost, Sage has been keeping secrets, ones that could get her killed. When he realizes Sage is being targeted Ghost and the club will do everything to keep her safe. I absolutely loved Ghost and Sage they are a fantastic couple. This story was full of suspense, action, angst and finally love. I highly recommend this book and series. You will not regret reading it.

Ghost is everything you want him to be — protective, brooding and sexy as sin, with that perfect edge that makes you fall for him harder with every page. And Sage? She’s strong, loyal and determined, with a heart so big she’s convinced she can fix the whole damn world.
Watching these two finally navigate their feelings was everything I hoped it would be. The chemistry is 🔥, the emotional connection is chef’s kiss, and once again, K.E. Osborn delivers a story that grabs you and refuses to let go.

I really love Las Vegas Defiance and this is a fantastic addition.
Sage completely stole my heart with her fierce dedication to protecting Vegas’ most vulnerable families, even while carrying everything alone. Our broody, secretive Ghost won me over as he saw beyond her strength and became the person she could finally lean on. I loved how he learned ASL because he knew that her sister Piper was coming to LV. Their emotional connection, chemistry and growing trust made them each other’s safe place, while the suspense kept me hooked.
I finished with a warm, happy feeling and a serious soft spot for Sage and her shadowy protector.
Sage completely stole my heart with her fierce dedication to protecting Vegas’ most vulnerable families, even while carrying everything alone. When i first started this book, I could not remember who all the characters were, except Queenie of course! Sadly that also meant I could not remember what Sage was about, her story and the organization she was involved in. That itself did not stop this book from being exciting! I love Ghost and his love language of small acts of love, like learning ASL. The newest member of Defiance was super cute and now I cannot wait to see what Montana has to offer us!

I love being in the world of the Defiance MC. This book is an amazing addition to this addictive series. Twists, turns, suspense, will they won't they, the banter, a brotherhood full of loyalty and a biker named Ghost, who spends his time in the shadows watching.

Loved Ghost and Sage! Sad that this is the end of the Vegas chapter of Defiance but I know what ever comes next will be awesome. K.E.'s books are and instant add to library!

4.5…..this series definitely does not disappoint. This time we have Ghost. Ghost is dangerously good at his job with the motorcycle club. They are brothers who support each other no matter what. Sage works hard and loves what she does as a caseworker. When danger comes knocking on her door he is ready to protect her at all cost. Together these two could be magical…but they need to figure it out first. This is a well layered read that I really enjoyed. With strong characters and friends who won’t back down. These characters are telling one heck of a story. A story about family, loyalty and everything in between. This series has been extremely entertaining and I can’t wait to see what they do next.
