Pre-Ordered Satisfaction was such a fun read.

I picked this one up because I kept hearing people talk about it, and I’m so glad I did. From the first chapter, I found myself smiling and completely invested in the experience.

Bryson finds himself attending a Black romance book festival alongside friend and bestselling author JT Asante, only to discover that he’s getting a lot more attention than he expected. Everywhere he turns, readers are whispering about “Yahya,” and watching him figure out exactly what’s going on was one of my favorite parts of the story. 🤭

Then there’s Vallyn. 🫰🏾😮‍💨😍🤌🏾

What I loved most about this book is that it felt like a weekend getaway wrapped in a romance. The book festival setting was so much fun, the chemistry was there, and the story had me grinning at my Kindle more than once. It was flirty, entertaining, and just plain enjoyable.

It made me laugh that after finishing the book and reading the description again, it felt like I was looking at the story from a completely different angle once the gem is dropped. 👏🏾😌 It made me appreciate the experience even more.

If you’re looking for a quick, feel-good Black romance with great vibes, bookish culture, and characters you’ll enjoy spending time with, Pre-Ordered Satisfaction is definitely worth the read.

Jsin Graham gave me exactly what the title promised; a damn good time.

Satisfaction is the perfect blend of romance, chemistry, and self-discovery packed into one unforgettable weekend. What begins as a trip to a romance festival quickly becomes much more for Vallyn as she finds herself swept into an unexpected connection that gives her exactly what she’s been missing: satisfaction in every sense of the word.

Jsin Graham does an excellent job of creating palpable chemistry between the characters while keeping the story engaging, fun, and emotionally grounded. The festival setting adds a unique backdrop that romance readers will appreciate, especially anyone who loves books, bookish events, and the possibility of finding love when they least expect it.

Vallyn’s journey feels authentic as she navigates desire, vulnerability, and the realization that she deserves more than she’s been settling for. The story is sexy and entertaining, and it leaves readers rooting for her happiness from beginning to end.

If you’re looking for a quick, steamy romance with heart, great chemistry, and a satisfying payoff, Satisfaction is definitely worth adding to your TBR list.

Bryson aims to satisfy

Ok this was super cute and fun. This is my first read by the author. This is perfect if you having the book event blues or FOMO. Talk about a book boyfriend coming to life, like what would you do if you run into a man at a book event that matches all the energy from a character between the pages? Bryson and Vallyn had their eyes set on each other every chance they got. Real life BDE from Bryson and they had a time over a few days.

A tasty morsel…

A yummy treat with all the right ingredients to satisfy:
- Setting: A Black Romance book festival
- Confident & slightly cocky MMC (who knows the art of restraint in seduction)
- Playful & also slightly cocky FMC (finds her armor is defenseless against his charm)
- Everyone wants him but all he wants is a little more time with her…
This one just hits!!! Will definitely re-read.

Real life Book Bae

This short novella was really good. Bryson has decided to be his author friend's assistant at a book event not realizing he is a character in the book. Vallyn is also a volunteer at the event and sparks fly when they meet.
Very well done and I will be reading more of Mr.Graham's work.

Genius releasing this right after BRBF. Those of us who didn’t get to go, can now live vicariously through these characters. My fave quote, which I think sums up this read space perfectly, was, “This community walks a fine enough tightrope between loving everyone and fracturing at the seams on a daily basis to allow writers to invaded reader or their spaces in that way”.

Quick Novella

Such a fun and cute quick read! Bryson and Vallyn had instant chemistry from the moment they met at a Black romance book festival. I loved how Bryson went out of his way to recreate scenes from her favorite book boyfriend. This novella was short, enjoyable, and packed with chemistry. Perfect for readers looking for a quick dose of love and bookish vibes!

New to me Arthur but I'm a fan now

This book gave everything it was supposed to give. Bryson was definitely giving BDE ,He had my girl mesmerized. Vallyn had Bryson's head gone and he went out his way to make sure she she experienced nothing but pleasure and ecstasy while they were together. Now where can I read about Yahya cuz I'm intrigued.

Lol, I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to tap further into this authors catalog. It’s ironic that this took place at a Black Romance Book Festival. If it went down like that in this book…I could only imagine the vibe of there were more male romance authors (with single friends to boot), lol.

What would you do if you ran into your favorite book bf at a book festival? Run or shoot your shot? Well Vallyn shot hers and did NOT miss 🤭 Bryson got talked into assisting his best friend at a book event and finds out he’s the spitting image of everyone’s fave MMC. He spots Vallyn and immediately knows what he’s spending his weekend doing…

This novella was hot, heavy, and perfect for book event season 😅 Jsin Graham knew exactlyyyyy what he was doing! Ngl I’d LOVEEEEE a follow up at the following year’s event 👀

Honestly, this was absolutely perfect of a Novella to wrap up my BRBF experience! Jsin is able to write in a way that immerses you immediately into the story. Short, sweet, spicy, and an easy reset between books!

It has the perfect balance of desire, romance, book-ish events, connection and chemistry. I really loved how self-assured MMC was coming into a new space and with his homebody. Bryson was definitely giving BDE throughout the book that I loved. My favorite microtrope in this short story was that every woman (and probably man) wanted Bryson but he just wanted Vallyn and that's what im talking about!!
