What do you think?

A Murderous Omega
They say meeting your scent matches changes everything. They weren't wrong ... but they also didn't mention the kidnapping.
Just because I’m a serial killer and they’re also serial killers doesn’t mean we’re compatible. Right? Except that these two alphas are cheerfully unhinged, shameless, and utterly convinced that I belong to them. Instead of courting me like normal alphas, they kidnap me. Twice.
I should hate it.
I do hate it, I swear.
Conor’s loving degradation makes me melt. Emile’s control makes me feel safe–and his praise makes me purr. Together, they're everything I didn't know I was missing.
I've survived a lot of things. But my scent matches might just be what takes me down for good.
A Murderous Omega is a complete MMF dark omegaverse romcom novella with explicit heat, graphic violence, and characters who consider dinner, murder, and a movie a perfectly reasonable first date.

This book was sexy, hilarious, dark, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!
Characters in this book are: Lark (FMC Omega) x Conor (MMC Alpha) x Emile (MMC Alpha)
(Content info at the end)
"Here's what's going to happen, baby. He's going to eat his meal as long as you're eating yours. If you stop, he stops, and when you've eaten enough calories to get you through the railing I intend to give you, he'll let you come all over his face."
Lark has escaped an awful relationship where she was claimed without her consent. This murderous little creature is now determined to take out every Alpha that has wronged Omegas. She has no rhyme or reason to her madness, and that makes catching her (or following her) extremely difficult.
Conor and Emile are a pack and looking for their Omega. They have been following her now for two years as she seeks justice for the Omega community. When the time is right they kidnap her, and bring her back to the home that they have created with her in mind. After what they consider an unforgettable night, Lark flees, leaving the Alpha's feeling bereft.
A typical man would have taken a hint, right? Maybe given up? But these guys know Lark is their scent match, and are determined to make her theirs! So once again they track her down and kidnap her, and this time, she isn't getting away!
"...Then [I] looped my arms around his neck, using the bindings on my wrists to choke him.
'Unlock the f*cking door,' I growled
'Easy, sweet girl," the driver said.
The alpha in my arms hummed with pleasure. I ground my p*ssy against him even as I cut off his air supply...
'F*ck yes, little one. Choke me out and make yourself come.' He snarled...
'The f*cking door!' I shouted ... F*cking men."
But they know her murderous tendencies need to come out to play, especially since she has been tracking and Alpha Pimp for months, and had been ready to take him out before she had been kidnapped. So they take her out to play. And every perfectly planned detail of that night is an aphrodisiac for them.
But how can Lark trust again when all she has ever known is unwanted claiming and pain? How does she know she won't be hurt by these two perfect scent matches?
WOW, OMG, where do I even start!? Lark is a badass, and I love her! She is part of a group called Birds of Prey, and they all sound like badass folks! I love how Lark doesn't compromise on anything she needs. She makes her wants, and needs, and limits known to the guys, and she expects them to go along.
But Conor and Emile are not the kind to just roll over and take it. They may be softies, but they aren't doormats. They make sure their mate has what she needs, but they make their wants and needs known too. They also keep Lark safe when she goes into heat, and I love how they are fierce and borderline cruel with everyone else and tender, squishy teddy bears with her. (mostly)
I loved this book! I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and my readers!
You magnificent, vicious creature. You have no idea what you do to me!"

A Murderous Omega - Penny Foxglove
I really enjoy omegaverse by this author. The way they write dark romcoms is just so entertaining to me and the characters are very interesting. I can’t wait to see how the next book in this little series goes. I’m very interested in the birds of prey, organization that Sparrow and Lark are part of. Lark, Emile, and Conor have a great and I really enjoyed their dynamic, especially with Lark being more reluctant, and Emile and Conor dealing with that. It created great tension. I’m looking for some more books in the series.

I love a stabby Omega
This book was a fun and easy read. It's dark and bloody. I love a dark romcom.
The reluctant omega not wanting to give in to what her Omega nature is demanding was a nice change. Lark had good reasons for her reluctance.
I love a mated pair of obsessive and stabby Alphas. The way they go feral over the Omega who refuses everything they offer so they resort to playing dirty.
The banter in this short story is absolutely fantastic. The cat and mouse games are always fun. Plus when Lark is finally caught and accepts the truth its so beautiful.
The nest shopping was hysterical and I loved.
I'm definitely intrigued by this world and can't wait to see what's next. I love this author's other pen name and seeing the do this dark romcom Omegaverse is very different but I loved every min.

Thank you so much to the author, Penny Foxglove, for sending me a complementary advanced reader copy!
This was such a wild ride. This is my first introduction to a 'bad omegaverse' style universe and I absolutely loved it! It was definitely faster-paced and lighter on detail as it's a novella, but knowing the authors other works (under a different pen name) made me so ready to jump into this.
It was spicy, murderous, and had me hoping she'll turn this series into full length novels!

I went into A Murderous Omega expecting pure chaos, and this author delivered exactly that, with a wicked grin and zero apologies.
The premise alone is unhinged in the best way…. Lark (an omega serial killer) who meets her scent matches, only to discover they’re serial killers too, and instead of flowers and soft words they simply kidnap her…..Twice.
That should have been the warning label, but it only made me lean in harder.
What surprised me most was how cheerfully dark the whole thing felt. Conor and Emile are not brooding, tortured alphas waiting to be fixed. They are shameless, gleefully unhinged, and completely convinced the omega belongs to them, no negotiation required.
Their courtship style is abduction, murder dates, and the kind of filthy, loving degradation that somehow still manages to feel affectionate.
Conor’s particular brand of praise and degradation combination had me shifting in my seat, 😜 while Emile’s quiet control and genuine praise created this strange, almost tender safety that cut through the blood and chaos.
Watching Lark try and fail to convince herself she hates it was half the fun. She is sharp, lethal, and just as broken as they are, which makes their twisted compatibility feel inevitable rather than forced.
The novella never pretends to be soft or morally upright. Dinner, murder, and a movie is presented as a reasonable first date, and the story leans all the way into that energy. The heat is explicit, the violence is graphic, and the humor is pitch black, yet somehow the emotional core still lands.
These three are not redeeming each other, they are recognizing their own darkness reflected back and deciding it feels like home. That acceptance, wrapped in scent match intensity and zero hesitation, is what makes the short length work so well.
There is no slow burn here just immediate, feral recognition and the messy, bloody process of figuring out what “ours” actually means when everyone involved is a killer.
I finished it in one sitting, equal parts horrified and delighted.
It is not for the faint of heart or anyone looking for sweet, traditional omegaverse, but if you want a dark romcom that laughs while it slits a throat and still manages to feel strangely romantic, this one hits the mark.
Penny Foxglove clearly had a blast writing these three, and that energy is contagious. And I’m hoping we go back and catch up with Emile/Conor and Lark at some point.

A Murderous Omega by Penny Foxglove is an omegaverse standalone novella. Omegaverse obviously has different interpretations depending on the author but there is a good note at the beginning of the story letting the reader know what this author has created within the realm of omegaverse.
It follows the fmc Lark, a serial killer in her mid twenties who spends her time helping to save omegas who have been abused and trafficked after her own devastating past with an abusive pack. The two mmc’s are Emile and Conor also in their mid to late twenties. They are both alphas and are bonded to each other. Emile is a lawyer who works within the space of protecting omegas, whilst Conor who comes from extreme wealth uses his connections to gain information.
Probably the most unbelievable aspect of this book was a billionaire using their money for good. This was a short fun read. There are definitely dark aspects to this book. (The three main characters are vigilante serial killers so the darkness shouldn’t be surprising). Overall it was a great palette cleanser for me between longer slow burn reads. It was exactly what I expected from a novella. Fast burn, little plot, lots of spice. If you are looking for a quick read that is on the darker side this may be the book for you. (3.5 stars)
I received this book as an ARC from the author. No AI was used to create any part of this review. I have given this review freely and it is my honest thoughts. Please check trigger warnings, this is a dark rom-com that mentions very heavy topics

Even the score
What an incredible read!
This is a dark omegaverse why-choose romance, where our completely unhinged MCs captivated me chapter after chapter.
We have two alpha MMCs—who are already together—and our omega FMC.
They’re deadly. They’re dangerous. They’re simply magnificent.
This is a very dark story, so if you’re sensitive to themes of “an eye for an eye,” “what goes around comes around,” or the idea that justice may be slow but never forgets, you might want to take a little look at the TW first.
As for me, I dove straight into this wild and wonderful journey.
Of course, there were moments when I was absolutely furious because of the cruelty of some people, but our defenders make karma feel like something else entirely.
Our FMC has a very painful and dark past that leaves her dealing with nightmares and insecurities.
But she is also a true survivor—a phoenix. She finally said enough to those who had hurt her and decided she would do the same for anyone else who needed someone to stand up for them.
Our MMCs understand that sometimes justice needs to be delivered in a certain way, so that evil doesn’t get the chance to thrive.
And this path will lead them to discovering the missing piece they never knew they needed: our wonderful FMC.
Together, they give us some seriously steamy moments, as well as moments that are absolutely hilarious in their darkness and/or cynicism.
I had such a fantastic time with this book. Dark, twisted, addictive, and wonderfully unhinged—hard to put down!

A dark romantic comedy set in the Omegaverse, featuring three interconnected characters. Despite it being a novella, it offers rich world-building and deep character arcs. Lark, a resilient omega scarred by past abuse, seeks justice against abusive alphas. She meets two alpha men, Emile and Conor, her scent matches, igniting intense interest. They are willing to manipulate circumstances, including hormones, to build a relationship. Conor, a supportive billionaire and pack member, shares a meaningful bond with Emile. The story explores resilience, connection, and the healing power of support among entwined histories.
Thoughts
I'm interested in more stories in this universe, blending darkness with capable vigilantes. The surprise of a billionaire using wealth altruistically was notable. An enjoyable, quick read with dark themes typical of vigilante serial killers. It offers a fast-paced, minimal-plot escape, perfect for a brief, darker read. I received this ARC from the author; my review is honest and AI-free. Watch for trigger warnings, as it's a dark romantic comedy on sensitive topics.

Oh my goodness this book was absolutely and unequivocally amazing. I was hooked on this story from the very start. And I quickly became crazily invested in the characters and plot. Lark is a whole vibe and I freaking love her. I adore how she avenges omegas who have been abused. Get it girl! I fully support the killing of those types of people. It mercy on the world. My heart broke for her and the things she experienced in life. Emile and Conor were honestly so freaking cute. Even with their morally grey way of courting someone. Lark didn’t know how to trust men. Watching her try to fight her desire to be a part of a pack frustrated me and had my heart melting. I understood why she fought it but I wanted her to have that. And seeing how Emile and Conor earned her trust and set her at ease made me swoon for them all over again. The connection and chemistry between them was so strong and intense. I immediately wanted them together forever. These men are feral for Lark and when she finally allows herself to want them too…talk about explosive. Raging inferno doesn’t even begin to cover it. This book is dark and intense and sweet and caring and so very heated. And that ending was honestly incredible. It gave them the outcome I wanted all along but in such a satisfying way. By that time I was just as feral for justice as they were. And we got exactly what was needed and so much more.

A contemporary omegaverse novella, that is a serial killers romcom.
We start off running as the FMC finds the body of the person she intended to off already dead, and when the two killers appear, attempting to trap her, she literally starts running. This escape doesn’t end in her favour exactly as they catch her and kidnap her, which ends in a spicy dub-con situation.
Make sure to check your triggers, there are some heavy subjects addressed and there’s some darker spice happening. I expected the smutty good time, and was okay with what was delivered in that aspect.
What threw me was the varying personalities for all the MCs, but especially the MMCs. In the first chapter I feel like I have got a good idea of what each MC is like, but immediately in the next chapter it feels like the roles are reversed for the MMCs. This happens again at a later time making me question which one is which in the context of the scene. The FMC also has a moment of swapping extremes in her personality outside of where it would make sense in the context of omega hormones.
The timeline of things also felt a little wonky. As much as I would like to blame it on the fact that this is a novella, there were simply inaccuracies in the passage of time noted by characters.
We get a nice bloody epilogue that wrapped things up decently for the FMC, and gave us a taste of the pack life the MCs had been enjoying.

Lark has been killing alphas who abuse omegas for years. But recently, someone has been killing her marks before she can get to them, or rather two someones. Emile and Conor work together as the elusive City Strangler, and they have been watching Lark for years, convinced she’s the omega for them. They kidnap Lark in an attempt to convince her to join their pack, but Lark is not the sort of girl who gives in.
Lark struggles to trust men and alphas in general, and she’s lived years helping other omegas escape the traumas she’s experienced. She resents the power alphas have over omegas and she can’t see herself willingly entering into a pack. But she secretly yearns for the connection a pack would bring her. Conor and Emile know Lark is their scent match and are determined to win her over. If only their initial power moves didn’t convince her that she can’t possibly trust them. But they aren’t going to let their perfect woman escape them without a fight.
A Murderous Omega is a quick paced, violent, and sexy romp with rather unhinged, but surprisingly genuine killer protagonists. It was an extremely fun read that dealt with rather serious topics in an enjoyable way. I genuinely wish it were longer.

A violent, funny, and spicy omegaverse. Lark is my favorite type of bratty FMC, and I love how Emile and Conor adore her bratty ways.
Lark is an omega who was once abused and claimed by a pack against her will. After escaping them, she vowed never to allow an alpha the power to control her again. She also works to save other omega's in the same situation by helping them to escape and taking apart the alphas who dared to hurt them. Lark has built an ok life for herself and is content with it the way it is. Until two gorgeous alphas who are her scent matches find her when they go for the same target.
Emile and Conor have been studying Lark since she beat them to one of their targets. She is their scent match, and her murderous and bratty personality is perfect for them. They will do anything to have her, including using her omega instincts against her and taking her to their home. Lark will not surender easily. Part of her craves the love and care these two alphas are offering her, but her past is keeping her from trusting them. It doesn’t help that they were willing to use her hormones against her in order to get her to spend time with them. If Emile and Conor want Lark to be their omega, then they will need to give her a lot more than promises of love and comfort.

What a fun dark, romcom omegaverse where three serial killers found love with each other!!
Despite being a short novella, the world building was still well-built and immersive! Plus each of the character arc developed really well. I love it!
Lark is an omega who has been hunting down abusive alphas for years. She experienced horrific abuse as a teenager from alphas and decided to do something about it. She also built a network of omegas to help her free abused omegas.
She is AWESOME. Very unhinged, but that’s the fun of it! She’s also quite vulnerable and I’m so happy that Connor and Emile found her to take care of that soft heart under hard exterior.
Connor is a billionaire and pack mates to Emile. They’re also lovers and oh their relationship is actually so beautiful. They are so supportive of each other through everything, including hunting down abusive alphas and yearning for their omega for TWO YEARS!!
Connor and Emile are also awesome and very unhinged and they are so perfect for Lark.
I honestly would love to read more stories in this universe because it might be dark but at least you have capable vigilantes running around 🤭
‼️ALSO I need more dark romcom OMEGAVERSE‼️

I received ARC of A Murderous Omega by Penny Foxglove for an honest review.
A Murderous Omega is a dark romcom omegaverse novella.
The story follows Lark, a serial killer omega, who kills omega abusers. Alphas Emile and Conor who also are serial killers have been hunting her for two years, knowing she is their scent mate. She doesn’t want to give in, wanting to keep her freedom. Two of them kidnap her, wanting to try to convince her to let them mark her and that she would mark them back.
The plot was scorching hot from the very beginning and I enjoyed reading every moment of the story. Penny Foxglove gave her fresh view of the omegaverse with this book.
Lark was a strong woman with her own deep scars in her past and I liked that she had her own way of dealing with them.
Both Emile and Conor were possessive and as unhinged as Lark was, making it more meaningful that they wouldn’t try to change her.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I think this book is perfect for those readers who enjoy omegaverse stories, but want a fresh take of it, their FMCs strong with a lot of rage in them and want their spice be scorching hot.

Forget meet-cutes — this one’s a meet-abduction, twice over. Lark, an omega, is a serial killer with a body count and zero interest in playing nice with Alpha’s, but she finds herself up against two equally deranged alphas who consider kidnapping a valid opening move.
Conor brings the filthy degradation, Emile brings the suffocating control, and together they turn “courtship” into something that should be illegal even in a genre built on morally bankrupt men.
What makes this one sing is the tone: it never forgets it’s a comedy wearing a body bag. The violence is graphic, the heat is explicit, and somehow it’s all played with a wink — dinner-and-a-murder as a legitimate date night.
If you want your omegaverse dark and unbothered by consequences, with a heroine who’s just as unhinged as the men obsessed with her, this novella delivers exactly what the cover promises and doesn’t apologize for a second of it.
Special thanks to the author for the ARC.

This was an absolutely kick ass book that was so amazing.
Penny Foxglove did an absolutely amazing job with this Omegaverse book.
I loved the FMC in this book Lark she was absolutely kick ass. She was a feral unclaimed Omega in the beginning that would easily take down an alpha and end them with no remorse.
While Lark was doing the stuff 2 scent match alphas fell hard for her. Emile and Conor could not get enough of her. She was also there scent match. They wanted her so bad they set her up they captured her drugged her kidnapped her and brought her back twice.
There was a lot of other things it took place but they genuinely learned to love her flaws and all.
I loved how they respected her for who she was not for what they wanted her to be. They never tried to change her hell if anything they encouraged her to be everything she could. I really enjoyed this book so much I thought that it was one that get and keep your attention all the way through to the point where you can't put it down. This book was one of the best why choose omegaverse I have had the honor to advance read.

This was a super fun, murdery, omega verse, rom-com and a delightfully fun introduction to the world for Penny Foxglove.
Conor and Emilie are deliciously twisted Alphas who find their perfect Omega in Lark who is just as twisted as they are. And when they come together, under absolutely devious circumstances, the chemistry is off the charts.
With hilarious banter, a completely twisted sense of humor, and a loving pack mentality, A Murderous Omega delivers on the best of all the things I wanted from the premise and more. We got all the best of the omegaverse tropes - pack dynamics, heat, nesting, knotting - and some fresh takes on those as well. The darker aspects of the story were well done and had me turning the pages going AND THEN WHAAAAT?!?! And the humor? Oh, I know I've got a dark sense of humor, but Penny Foxglove gets me. Oh, how I laughed.
I cannot wait to see what comes next from Foxglove because I will be there with bells on to get my hands on the next installment.

The fast pacing works really well in this omegaverse novella, and I liked that the MMCs already had Lark in their sights prior to the book. It may be an insta connection for Lark, but these boys have been playing the long game!
Lark is a fierce FMC and is fighting to free omega's from the trauma she went through. Despite this being novella length, it still packs an emotional punch as Lark reveals exactly what happened to her. Emile and Conor are perfect for her, even down to kidnapping being their love language! I really enjoyed the dynamic between the two alphas and how Lark rounded out their pack. I'd have loved to have seen more of Lark's pranks in real time as I am always here for a petty queen!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

I absolutely loved how spicy this was. The 2 Alphas Emile & Conor are so cute together and also worship Lqrk and will do anything to prove she can trust them. They love their vicious, murderous feisty Omega. Yes they may have started out rocky but I guess after so ping of stalking your.mate getting everything ready for her to come home and be your mate they didnt think everything through fully. Hasty choices were made on their end but it all worked out in the end. And they worked hard to break down the thick very high walls Lark had built up to protect herself after everytbing she had been through. Now 3 serial unalivers working together to take down the evil thats plagues the poor omegas. She fights them every step of the way, but they are patient and give her everything she needs & more. And this has the perfect bl🩸🩸dy HEA! I can't wait for the next Dark Why Choose Murderverse Novella in this series.

This was EVERYTHING I wanted from a quick, spicy little interlude.
We have an omega who is out here unaliving abusive alphas like it’s her personal community service project. And honestly, good for her.
Until she gets kidnapped by TWO other serial unalivers who just happen to be her scent matches.
Because apparently the best way to meet your fated mates is through murder and kidnapping.
This is a super quick omegaverse novella, so I’m not going to say too much because I think half the fun is going into it and letting the chaos unfold for yourself. There is plenty packed into this little story, and it was exactly the kind of quick, spicy palate cleanser I needed between longer reads.
We have:
Morally gray characters
Enemies to lovers
Omegaverse
Scent matches
Why choose
Spice
If you love all of the above — this might be the perfect quick read for you.
A fun, fast, spicy little novella that delivered exactly what I was looking for!

This was my first experience with the omegaverse, and I have to say—I quite enjoyed it! I really appreciated the explanation at the beginning because it helped me understand the dynamics and had me pumped for the story from the very start.
Lark is a sexy, vicious, badass vigilante omega with some serious trust issues toward the male species—and for very good reason. Then she meets Emile and Conor, two stalkerish, unhinged alphas who become completely obsessed with their omega. You know it’s love at first sight when you meet while participating in your favorite hobby: being serial killers. 😂🔪 Their desperation for Lark was delicious, the banter was everything, and together they made one wildly unhinged throuple!
Fast-paced, action-packed, dark, violent, hilarious, and very spicy, this novella was one bloody and entertaining ride from beginning to end. If this is what the omegaverse has to offer, I may have just discovered a whole new obsession! 🖤

A one-sitting read! If you’re new to the Omegaverse or have been wanting to try it for the first time, this is your sign!
I loved how patient Emile and Conor were with their omega, Lark. They waited two years before pursuing her, but once they finally decided to go for it, they weren’t giving up until she accepted them.
What I loved most about this book was the chemistry. The chemistry between Emile and Conor is just as palpable as it is when all three—Lark, Emile, and Conor—are together. I especially loved the MM dynamic between the two alphas. So hawt! 🥵
And I absolutely adore Lark. She is VICIOUS! 😂 Her personality had me laughing, especially whenever her alphas did her wrong and she immediately wanted to dominate the situation or plot her revenge.
Overall, such a fun, spicy, and easy read. I loved the dynamic between all three characters, but Lark definitely stole the show for me!

A Murderous Omega is a Muderverse novella and is written by Penny Foxglove.
💜 omegaverse
💜 serial killers
💜 scent matches
💜 forced proximity
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice
Lark can’t believe it. She’s been beaten to being able to take out this awful alpha that’s before her. Another serial killer got to him first. Shes so mad right now. All the work she put into taking him out, just to be bested. Again. Ugh. Will this keep going? Will she be able to take out another alpha before this other serial killer does? What is happening?
This was such a fun read. This new world that has been created looks like it will be a fun one to get sucked into. The character building was done well for a novella. I loved how Lark tried to keep herself on track even when she wanted to give into her omega instincts. This read was so fun that I caught myself devouring it in a couple of hours. I can’t wait to see what other stories come out of this new world.

The story throws you in immediately. Instead of a slow build up to discovering the FMCs actions and motivations it is all thrown at you immediately. Action, explanation. Action, explanation. Explanation, explanation, explanation.
The Alphas came on way too strong and it feels contradictory. It's like everyone wants to write the Haunting Adeline trope of "I hunt predators but also am one" and do it just as badly lol.
Are we going to talk about how the MMCs literally raped her? They drugged her and when she wakes up they are doing things to her sexually. She had said no multiple times before that. This is literal rape. The first thing she does is she starts to come awake from the drugs and realizes what is happening is says the word no. And it continues for a while where she is saying and thinking how she doesn't want this. Yes her body is responding but that's not consent at all. I found the whole scene disgusting.

This is my first omegaverse book. Right off the ripe there was an explanation of what I was getting into. I was super grateful for that. Lark is a serial deleter and an omega and she has caught the attention of the alphas. Emile and Connor also happen to be serial deleters. Immediately the connection is there but Lark is like no thank you. They’re like yea no you’re coming with us. Lark fought hard against her instincts. Emile and Connor did too, they had to show Lark she could trust them. There was definitely some spice. The group scenes were HOT! This was such a beautiful story. There was love, bl**d, revenge, knots and all. I love Penny’s writing it so engaging. I’m so glad I decided to dip my toe in the omegaverse with Penny. I finished this within a matter of hours. It was really great book.

A Murderous Omega was such a fun, dark, and completely unhinged romcom.
I absolutely loved how different this one was. We have a morally black omega (Lark), obsessed alphas (Conor and Emile), serial killers, scent matches, and a whole lot of dark romcom energy. I mean, when murder can apparently be part of a first date, you know you’re in for a wild read.
I loved the dynamic between the characters and how perfectly the dark humor worked with the romance. The chemistry was electric and this book definitely brought the spice. Penny Foxglove gave me characters who are morally questionable, completely chaotic, and somehow still impossible not to love.
If you’re looking for a quick, spicy, dark omegaverse romance with serial killers, obsessed alphas, and plenty of chaos, definitely add this one to your TBR!

Quick and Spicy Read
A Murderous Omega by Penny Foxglove was my first omega read. Going in with an open mind (literally), I did not know what to expect.
This book kicked off with spice from the beginning, and there was no shortage on that front! Almost every chapter had something happening, whether it be between the omega and her alpha’s or the two alphas themselves. Nothing is knot left to the imagination.
And you cannot forget about the comedic aspect that was also brough to this book! The playful banter and comedic timing was perfect, especially for such a short story.
Thank you, Penny Foxglove, for breaking me into the omega realm. I know this will probably not be my last omega read, just as long as they are spicy and funny all at the same time!
I received A Murderous Omega as an ARC and provided a review willingly.

Lark, Emile, and Conor all work well together. Their personalities are different but there is something that they all have in common and that is they love each other. Lark is a spitfire. I love her fiery personality. Yet, for being someone that takes out others, her instincts are off. Conor and Emilie were able to trick Lark not one but twice.
Conor, I felt was more the alpha. Emilie came off as a little bit of a beta. Yet, I liked his softer side to balance Conor's more dominant persona.
"I was thinking we could make a whole evening of it-dinner, murder, a movie after?"
This is a witty, quckie read! It is an insta lust. No slow burn romance here. I don't want to get on the hit list of these three. They leave bodies in their wake. I would have liked the steamy scenes to be a bit longer as they were short and fast. Yet did not lack in spice.

Wooo, can i just say this is an amazing into into this author's world.
Lark is just your average serial killer, turned to that by circumstances that shaped her starting at a young age, she works alone, and is fine with that. Or she thinks she is to Conor and Emile kidnap her and not just once but twice because unbeknownst to her they have been stalking her and are in love with each other and her, and they know she is the last part they are missing.. to bad Lark wasn't aware of them or their plan.... So when they take her... she shows them .... well read and see.
This story is both unhinged and fluffy, the perfect mix of the two, i think that, will be making it a soon to be favorite

A Murderous Omega is an omegaverse standalone novella. I appreciate the opportunity to read this before official publication!
Our FMC, Lark, is a serial killer. She's being stalked (occasionally kidnapped) by two alphas who also like to do the same. A pack that slays together, stays together? Or that's the hope of the guys....They still have to talk her into it.
I love the set up, the pace, and the concept of the Omegaverse (I know this isn't unique to this author, but I like her take on it). The level of snark and banter is outstanding. No one is going easily into this relationship, they will have to work hard for it. I'm definitely looking forward to more forays into the Bad Omegaverse!
The book contains explicit scenes that are part of the plot.
