This was a good, clean Christian romance about Warren and Khadijah’s love journey and personal healings together and individually that I enjoyed reading. I love that they spent time praying, fasting, and journaling with God to actually seek His face, hear His voice, and follow His ordered steps. I really liked the relationship that Warren had with Daylen and how Daylen wanted to live with Warren because she saw that he had a closer relationship with God versus her mom, Vanetta, who she saw was inconsistent in her walk with Christ. Warren did right to walk away from Pastor Lincoln and his judgmental spirit but there wasn’t any resolution nor dissolution of Warren’s membership at that church. I would have liked for them to have found a physical church to be members of. I also wanted to see Shelley and Vanetta to reap those evil seeds that they sowed against Khadijah. I wanted to read about Khadijah meeting her siblings and stepmom along with her transition into being a wife and mother. I kind of feel like this will end up being the first book of a series with Jasmine’s move to Philly and possibly being Jacob’s soulmate and Johnathon finding out that the baby isn’t his baby and not marrying her but God sending him his forever wife. I did follow the author so I can be informed when her next release drops.

The war in his heart

This book gave me everything I didn’t even realize I needed and left me with so much to think about and consider. This book was well written and I loved it from beginning to end. Khadijah and Warren were a perfect match. They helped each other heal and encouraged each others healing. I loved that they started off as friends and built from there. I also loved how protective they were of each other and how their faith aligned and helped them stay and get in alignment with each other to get all that they needed and were destined to have.

I will definitely be looking further into this author’s catalogue.

Trust

I didn't know how I would feel about this book but I enjoyed it. Very much refreshed my soul with the scriptures of purpose and direction. Khadijah was my girl. She was true and lived the life she chose and the one she was guided to. Warren made me mad every now and again because he wasn't trusting his heart or following in the word.

I don't know how your faith is but if you need the word and just a spirit cleanse, read this.

✨ Faith, Love & Spiritual Victory 🙏🏽❤️

I really enjoyed Khadijah and Warren’s story. The spiritual warfare that came against both their personal lives and their relationship was intense—whew! 😮‍💨🙏🏽

Khadijah’s past came crashing back like a tsunami 🌊. At the same time Warren was battling his own struggles. Even though he wanted to be there for Khadijah, his insecurities took over for a while and pushed her away. 💔

The time apart gave them both the opportunity to reflect, grow, and spend intentional time with God. That season was necessary, allowing them to heal individually so they could come back stronger together. 💕✨

A beautiful reminder that faith, healing, and love can overcome even the toughest battles. ❤️📖

Wow!

This book covered it all! The author masterfully created and showed realistic characters. Lovers of the Word while maneuvering the world along with their flaws. This was my first read by this author, but it will not be my last!
