** Super lucky to get my hands on an ARC!!**
Thrilling!!Rousing!! Forbidden Pleasures is Jay and Beatrice's story and the latest installment of the amazing NSC Industries Series by DH Sidebottom. DH Sidebottom manages to get my blood pumping with excitement and apprehension in this book. If you have ever read any story by DH Sidebottom than for sure you know that you can never suspect what turns the storyline is going to take. From the moment I started Forbidden Pleasures I could not put it down and with every page I read the anxiety and the heart palpitations grew more and more until I was ready to burst if I didn’t find out what was going to happen next. This story made me feel the turmoil of these characters, the suffering Jay and Bea were subjected to in their lives, their attraction for one another; it all came across so vividly in the story. Forbidden Pleasure is enthralling, suspenseful, angsty, and erotic; there are some slight dark scenes and some very HOT SEX-y Scenes. Another amazing story by DH Sidebottom I can’t wait to see where she is going to take us with the next installment of the NSC Industries series. This book makes me want to scream at the world YOU NEED TO READ THIS SERIES!!

I was Lucky enough to Beta read this book.
WOW...... D H Sidebottom has done it again if I am honest this might be a lot Darker than all the other amazing NSC series books.
Forbidden Pleasures is Jay and Bea Story and it is Thrilling Rollercoaster of a ride, you just do not want it to end.
D H manages to get your bloody pumping with anxiety Just wondering what going happen next and you can try and work out what's going to happen but it isn't what you think.
I swear I was on the edge of my seat with every Chapter they where nail biting I was full of emotions for both Bea and Jay my heart was racing at points dying to know what was going to happen next.
This story broke my heart as I felt what the Characters where going through As if I was there with them the suffering they were going though you feel it all.
If you have read NSC series, you will know a little about Jay's past, which is not very pleasant.
Forbidden Pleasure is full of a little of everything, its full of Suspense, Angst Erotic dread, fear, shock. Dark parts too!
Of course, with every D H book has the hot sex that get you all hot and bothered I really cannot wait for the next instalment to see where D H takes it and where this story will go.
If you are a big Fan of Dawns books you really do not want to miss a latest instalment you need to read this

I didn't think I could love DH Sidebottom anymore than I did after having read the previous books in the NSC series.
Boy, was I wrong! If I wasn't a happily married woman, I'd marry her. No, actually, I'd kidnap her and keep her hostage in my cellar, making her write story after story in this series! I wouldn't ever let her stop...
This is the first part (yup...it's got a cliff!) of Jay (the son of Liv & Nate) and Bea.
It is full of the usual gloriousness we see in Sidebottom's work...it's dark, it's sexy, it's harrowing, it's heart warming and heart breaking.
I wasn't quite sure I would ever meet a female character with as much bad luck as Ava Stone...then I came across Bea. She is one tough cookie! A typical Sidebottom heroine and I love her!
Jay...the tortured soul. The man about town. He's kind of easy to hate but easier to love.
It's brilliant to see all of the old faces back, some in a bit more depth than others (ahhh, Greg!) as well as some new ones. I'd love to get to know Bea's friends and family better...(nudge nudge) and Elijah must have one hell of a story to tell too.
The story follows a seen before pattern, the two fall in love, bad stuff happens that initially strengthens yet ultimately weakens their bond, then there's the cliff.
Whilst reading, I was reminded of the story of Mason & Ava. The two couples have a similar bond, a similar feel to their story. Almost everything happening between Jay & Bea is reminiscent of Mason & Ava and it is that has stopped me from giving this 5 fat shiny stars.

The NSC Industries series is back with Jay’s story (Nate and Olivia’s boy) and this is the most powerful, gritty, and sexually charged story out of the lot to date. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart, and if you’re looking for butterflies and rainbows, you may want to look elsewhere. If you want an epic ride through the darker side of love and loyalty, hang on to this one with both hands, feet, and anything else you deem suitable, because DH Sidebottom is at it again, and it’s brilliant!
Jay is a guy that beats to his own drum, never one to let anyone make decisions for him, and he has secrets in his closet that some may cringe at. He had a rough start at life, and has used that to fuel the fires within his soul, which have lead him into some “not so nice” situations. There he meets Bea, who has a similar past, which connects them somehow. She’s a definite spitfire and a challenge to most people, but Jay seems to keep up and becomes quite fascinated with her.
Is his fascination deadly? Could they ever be one of those “normal, fun loving” couples? Do they have any boundaries? So many questions, and they’re answered with a full on smack to the face! This book had my jaw dropping at every turn, just when I thought I figured out the plan, I was derailed in a big way! Not to mention the sex is so over the top HOT, you may need to dowse yourself in an ice bath after this one!

Put your seat belts on and strap yourself's in because your in for one hell of a ride !!!!!! Another book in the NSC Industries series, which just happens to be one of the best series ever. This is Jay's story, he is Nate and Olivia's son who has had a really rough start in life and he has some dark secrets buried deep inside of him. Along comes Bea who is feisty, sexy but just as troubled as Jay in her own way. Sparks ignite between them and so follows a beautiful love story that grows between them. But will it endure the test of time ? Will they be able to reach deep inside of themselves and heal each other ?
Let me just say that although this is ultimately a love story and the sex is hot, don't be fooled because true to D H Sidebottom's brilliance at writing dark gritty hold your breath books, this one doesn't disappoint. Dawn has one of the most dark and brilliant minds in writing and it excels here. I couldn't put this book down, every page bought something else to make you hold your breath or say OMG. And the best bit is, there is a follow up and that is really exciting because the NSC family lives on and I love Dawn for that, because when you read these books, they become your family and what a family they are !!

I couldn't wait to open Forbidden Pleasures. It was like meeting up with old friends, rather than reading a book and great to have the NSC gang back again.
I found myself in tears at the beginning reading the prolouge, dating back to Jay's early childhood. I just wanted to cuddle him and shield him from everything that was happening. Then my teeth were on edge throughout all the drama and the action the whole way through the story, never knowing which direction it was going. Everytime i thought i knew I was swept up and taken somewhere else. At the same time I found myself laughing at the antics of some familiar faces, especially Ava, her 1-liners had me in hystrics at the most tense moments.
I love this series and the lives, loves and the drama that comes along with some of my favorite characters. I'm looking forward to hearing more from Jay, Beatrice and the rest of the NSC gang including the one and only Mr Mason "Glorious Bas***d" Fox in the next installment to this amazing series.

There I was reading another book when this one went live at midnight (thank God for pre-orders). Knowing that its D H Sidebottom's I shouldn't have started it at 12 a.m. because I couldn't put the book down! It's good to see the other characters of NSC/HoS in this book since Jay one of the main characters is the son of Nate and Liv. Bea and Jay's relationship reminds me so much of Mason and Ava and the author even has a third (skanky) wheel thrown in. The book's ending has that WTF moment, just to warn you. And yes this author owes me a good night's sleep and a concealer for my major hangover and horrendous eyebags. This latest addition to the NSC Industries series I would highly recommend. Dawn, you are definitely one of my favourite top 10 authors even though your stories give me a fekking heartache and emotional whiplash.

I'm fuming, she's done it again, Dawn knows how to pull you so far into a storyline that you're craving the next line, let alone the next chapter, I've lost sleep, I couldn't put it down, I want to strangle Jay, my God has he messed up big time but really, that cliff hanger!!!! I love this series I'm tortured by it, I need to know things will right themselves, I need Bea to find peace, absolutely devastating writing as always, just amazing, extremely highly recommended read

Bufff!!! I am trying to calm my heart after reading the end of the book. WOW! This has been intense. The pain that these characters feel is able to go through the pages and touch your soul. I must be masochist bc after reading this, I NEED to read the next book “forbidden pain”, even though it leaves me messed up.
This book takes place before Mason and Ava go to live in Portugal, so they appear in the book when Jay uses them to help his beloved Beatrice.
When I read about Jay in “Angel” and in the other books, I knew of his terror of commitment and how guilty he felt for not being able to do anything when his mother was mistreated by his stepfather. What I could not imagine was to what extent his guilt made it necessary for his sadistic side and especially his masochist side to be a constant in his life to be happy.
When he begins his relationship with Bea he seems happy, but as his friend Miles ( a character I hate after the trip to Las Vegas) it’s just a mirage, he always needs the pain to be happy and Bea is unable to give him the physical punishment he craves so much, so he decides as Mason did one in the past, turn to drugs and break Bea’s heart ( and mine)into a thousand pieces.
Bea suffers so much in this book that I don’t know what will happen to her. How will she overcome everything that happened to her?
I really need to read the next book. 😩

I'm running out of things to say about this series so I've kept it short.

Absolutely loved this book!!!
The story was great, it was well paced, plenty of inter turmoil. Absolutely loved it!
So disappointed I can’t find the follow up anywhere, therefore if you hate cliffhangers that aren’t followed up (like me) I’d avoid!

Wow D H has done it again with this brilliant addition to the NSC industries series . Forbidden pleasure brings together all the old favourites from both NSC and Heart of stone series, which for me was fanfuffingtastic . I have to say I love Jay we have seen him grow over the series and I was dying to see inside the very naughty Jay Carter I was not disappointed he was hot, intense and extremely naughty but also there was a sad, torn and somewhat lost side to Jay that I think D H got over extremely well . Bea was a perfect match for Jay bringing out the feeling he wanted to bury.She was strong, sexy and independent and my heart broke with the crap life threw at her but grew with pride as she over come her nightmares and focused on being happy . In true Sidebottom style things are never what they seem and are never ever straightforward but that's what I love about her writing it always leaves me wanting more and more and this was definitely not exception I can't wait for the continuation of Jay's story .

Ok now where to start!
I have been desperate for Jay's story...Nate ( my hubby) and Liv's son...we know what he went through as a young boy but how has it shaped him as an adult? Surprisingly not the way you think!
Bea a happy beautiful and kind soul and when they meet sparks fly literally!
When they meet its quite lighthearted and funny even with some Lol moments but very soon it turns into something else completely.
A hard hitting and angsty ride which we've come to expect from D H herself but I am still shocked every time by how much her books draw me in and keep me so engrossed that I literally can't breathe until the end.
I read this book last night and I have not slept a wink since turning this book and the ending over in my head....putting myself in Bea's place over and over and to say I wasn't expecting that would be an understatement....my heart hurts so D H please make it better.....

Jay And Bea's Story. Dawn is truly on form with another NSC book. This time it's the turn of Jay (Liv and Nate's son) and Bea.
Both beautifully broken in ways that could both bring them together and blow them apart. Will the troubles in their respective pasts and presents be too much for them to handle ? Let's face it ...
This is a DH Sidebottom work of twisted genius... Anything is possible! And in true DH Sidebottom style just when you think you've got it all worked out think again because you've got it wrong the last half dozen times you tried and failed to guess the direction of the story !
As always the connection with the story, back story and characters is flawless and the ebb and flow of the story amazingly choreographed.

I absolutely love this series and couldn't wait for Jay's story. Still trying to deal with events that happened in his childhood, Jay is a hot, delicious, messed up man whore. He meets Bea, beautiful, sweet Bea. Jay knows he's no good for her but he can't stay away. Jay is fighting his demons, but sometimes it's just not enough. Will he succeed and finally lay the past to rest? As always with D H Sidebottoms books, this book will not be what you're expecting. It's hot, gripping, completely addictive, with twists, turns and wtf moments. Not to mention the old faces (yes, Mason Fox makes an appearance) popping up, it feels good to have the NSC gang back together again. Another brilliant book from one of my favourite authors

Another 5 Star addition to the NSC/HoS series!!!
We have only had little tasters of Jay Carter so I was pretty excited that he was finally getting to tell us his story & what a story he has!!!
Jay & Bea, you can't help but get tied up in there relationship, it's highs, lows & absolute devastation.
Forbidden Pleasures was in keeping with the rest of the series, we had all the characters that we have previously fallen in love with play there parts & new characters thrown in.
The actual story it's self was very well written, D H Sidebottom never fails to keep me gripped & of course drag me on an emotional roller coaster....it wouldn't be the NSC/HoS series if I didn't feel emotionally drained after reading it

Forbidden Pleasures was in keeping with the rest of the series, we had all the characters that we have previously fallen in love with play there parts & new characters thrown in.
The actual story it's self was very well written, D H Sidebottom never fails to keep me gripped & of course drag me on an emotional roller coaster....it wouldn't be the NSC/HoS series if I didn't feel emotionally drained after reading it

Another fantastic book in this awesome series .it feels like I've waited ages to finally get to read Jay's book yes it's going to pull at those heartstrings as the other books do to but if I had known that it was going to end the way it did and I have to wait till the next book I would have waited to read them both together I hate cliffhangers:'( . But looks like I have to wait for the next book to see if Bea and Jay get their HEA .

This was so intense that I couldn't but it down if they couldn't have enough stuff happen to them I don't know what Be a went through a lot she is one strong women and Jay was there also he has demons and I would like to read more on both of them I know not every books has happy endings but this was definitely a cliff hanger

Loved this book, I started it then couldn't put it down until I had finished it, I can not believe that I missed this books release which is why I'm only now reading it.....if you love this series of books then you will not be disappointed, this series just goes from strength to strength, can't wait for the next one, totally unexpected ending.

Jesus, this was heartbreaking, tortured, sick, twisted, complicated read. Jay and Bea, two broken souls, trying to heal, become one, but the deep dark issues keep tearing them apart.
This was so sad, I'm pulling for them both

DAWN.....you are 100% a bitch!!! Leaving it on a cliffy like that!! I'm distraught!! Great book but that cliffy was not nice ur such a mean bitch!! I can't even leave a proper review I'm so distraught !!!
