My Millionaire Husband Takes His Ex-Wife on Fancy Vacations, part of the She Gets Revenge series, was about Megan Shaw Lawson, a caterer.
Megan and Brett had been married for eight years. They were at their best friends' home for a BBQ when she asked Dave, the husband, if he was ready for their annual fishing trip. He was confused, said they didn't have a trip planned, then said, "Oh, you mean Outer Banks," and immediately realized he had said something he shouldn't have. Instead of confronting anyone, she waited until Brett was asleep, then started researching on his phone. She found out that not only had he not been going on vacation with his male friends, but he had also been going to expensive resorts he'd told her they could never afford. The more she researched, the more she learned about his betrayal...and that it included Lauren Kessler, his ex-wife, whom he had married at 21 and divorced at 23, each time, for their entire marriage. Actually, he had been cheating with the ex since BEFORE the wedding to Megan. Once again, she didn't wake him up to confront him. Instead, she started gathering evidence and searching for their prenup agreement with the infidelity clause that would make her a rich woman after the divorce.
The story took place in less than two weeks, from beginning to end. There wasn't a lot of angst, hardly any drama, and an emotional rollercoaster that was extremely lacking in most of the emotions one would expect in such a story. It was bland, fast, and over almost before it began. No backstory, no buildup, no climax, and a flat ending. The storyline was good. I have to admit that, but the plot was missing. What was the goal of the FMC other than the divorce and the settlement afterward? Not given. There wasn't an MMC, and the one HFN that was given was with herself.
I can't say much more than that, because there wasn't enough to talk about. No well-developed characters, no maturity, and definitely no growth to speak of. It didn't even deserve the one-star rating I gave it.

What a dirtbag!
The title tells you exactly what’s going on, and you also learn how the FMC finds out about it.
This d-bag has been taking his ex wife to the same resort every year since he married the FMC. That’s eight years, which is important because there’s a pre-nup, with an infidelity clause. And boy is he gonna owe big…
KU and very quick reading. There’s revenge spice but it honestly is like a ONS. If you like this trope, this was a great little read, and I enjoyed it immensely. Hope this author has more.

Felt empty
She really has,no emotions about what was done. Nothing. Yes she video taped them but geez why not throw something. She should have put him through the courts. Watched him suffer.

confusing story?
Started out with the potential to be a great story but quickly became confusing and didn’t make sense.
There’s no explanation for why the husband married the MFC but still had a full relationship with his ex wife for the 8 years of his marriage? Why did he marry her? It’s not like she was rich and he wanted her money. The whole story was told from her point of view, we never even heard the husband speak at all? That’s just so bizarre??? I understand the MFL was upset about what her husband did to her but how/why would she choose to have revenge s*x with a stranger without using any protection? That’s just disgusting!
I can’t recommend reading this story to anyone, it’s just so bizarre and unfinished….

OK
Bittersweet story. I was happy to see Megan confront Brett and get revenge. Or rather justice. It’s always good to see the cheater get their “just desserts”.
However, I was disappointed in the ending. I wanted a little bit more.
Did Megan see Jonah again? What happened with Brett and his ex-wife/current affair partner Lauren?
It needed an epilogue in the future. Otherwise it’s a fast, interesting read. The best part of the book is when Brett comes to Megan’s room and learns that she knows everything.

loved the FMC
This was a decent novella
My only complaint is seriously 8 years and the OW was okay with once a year lol
And for the life of me an 11 million dollar pre-nup but he was a nickel and dime penny pincher who couldn’t pay for a 4,000.00 for a vacation… ummm make it make sense
And cheap cologne I couldn’t even I just laughed.
It was believable up to the pre nup part… I mean I could believe a million dollars but 11 million and he was that frugal. Nope

Yum. Short, precise, satisfying. What a douche. The guy, the husband, does a yearly visit with his ex-wife to posh resort hotels for a week while the wife quietly stands by her man, budgeting the household, sitting on the sidelines trying to appreciate her marriage. Well, he got caught! And the wife documents. And gets it all. Great account.

A short and sweet novel of revenge
This was a short and quick read. A wife who discovered her husband having an affair with his ex-wife!
Proof needed to be gotten to action the indelible infidelity clause. 😈
There was confrontation with the ex-wife, but I would’ve loved more fallout for the husband. He royally FAFO. I wish there was a lot more FO for him!

Fast paced.. Excellently written.. relatable characters.. you're drawn in from the beginning and it's a quick read. I would have liked a little bit more but it was worth my time

Great read
Very direct and to the point. I absolutely loved the characters. What an interesting story. I read a lot of books and this story was a first for me. I love the way the author made the wife strong, not sappy. I will recommend this to my friends and family.

I loved this book! I want to read more from this author because she definitely wrote about an empowered woman in this one. I loved how she put the screws to her soon to be ex-husband after he cheated for eight years. Awesome read.

Good on her, is all I need to say. Very dramatic but emotional journey throughout. I enjoyed reading this book and recommend that you read it.
