One night. One coat closet. One secret that changed everything.
Elliot Jones is a broke, scrappy event planner who breaks his own rules when the host's son pins him against a door and calls him brilliant. AJ Prescott is a billionaire heir trapped in a life he never wanted. Their chemistry is instant. Devastating. Over by morning.
Then the pregnancy test comes back positive.
Elliot runs. Changes his number. Raises their daughter alone for seven years, convinced a man like AJ would only ever see them as a scandal to manage.
Now Elliot's been hired to plan AJ's sister's wedding — at the Prescott estate. And their six-year-old daughter is the spitting image of her alpha father.
AJ wants answers. Elliot wants to protect the life he built. And the pull between them? That never went away.
A secret this big doesn't stay buried forever. The question is whether the truth will destroy them — or finally bring them home.
I liked the characters, though the last act felt a bit rushed. (One moment AJ was extremely angry then the next he was over it and wanted to kiss Elliot.) It also needed a copy edit.

I really wanted to give this book a five-star review, but a few things held me back. One, no explanation regarding the Alpha and Omega descriptions since no one was a werewolf. The fact that a knot was mentioned and a guy was pregnant ( if they were werewolf, that would all work). Two, The book needed a good editing job. Lines and even paragraphs were repeated multiple times. I couldn't tell if it was lazy writing ( like cut and paste passages) or writing over a long period and not noticing the use of same lines. A good editor would have caught all of them.
The story was great.Andi was adorable. Emma and Micah were great secondary characters. The protagonists fell fast and hard ( maybe too fast and hard). I think that the story read true about the reason for the secret. Money changes a lot of things and high society has weird rules. Old money has priorities, so Eliott's reaction was believable. Great story. Charming child.
So, Elliott/Omega and event planner lost all discipline and had a 20 minute tryst with the son, AJ (aka Andrew) of the family Matriarch’s birthday party. Elliott came away with Andi, the result of this tryst. But Elliott thought himself too far below the social ladder of Boston’s upper crust.
Happenstance created a revelation of Andi’s existence to AJ…well you have to read this well-written tome about assumptions, circumstantial evidence, and a sensible, if not inevitable, resolution.
Elliott was so afraid of making a decision that he made the wrong one. AJ knew he was missing something in his life, he just didn't know what. But Elliott and Andi filled his life with love and happiness. I loved this book so much! This is a new author me but I'm enjoyed catalog!
A rather sad, angsty tale as secret lovers are pulled apart. Status and class mattered here and a hardworking Omega get his heart rung out and broken. It's a touching tale with it's up's and down's but an enjoyable read.
Wow what an amazing story of heartbreak which turns into squishy love and throw a sassy 7 year old, an obsessed Aunty and a octopus into the mix and you have an amazing book. I highly recommend this book.
A switch on reality. Nevertheless I couldn’t put it down; it’s real almost wished it couldn’t end. Don’t put it down past the erotic beginning; I tried and couldn’t wait for each unfolding chapter.
