Her love for books began at an early age, inspired by her mother, who helped nurture a passion that would eventually become an obsession. Reading three books a week was not unusual for Jasmine; getting lost in the pages of a good book was simply a way of life.
But somewhere between reading everyone else's stories, Jasmine discovered she had stories of her own to tell.
Her writing journey took a defining turn when she enrolled in a college Creative Writing course. Her professor, Sean O'Connell, recognized her potential and challenged her to push beyond the expectations of a typical class assignment. His feedback encouraged her to take her creativity seriously, trust her voice, and explore just how far her imagination could take her.
That challenge became the spark that ignited her writing career. In 2013, Jasmine made her writing debut with Forever and a Day, taking her first steps toward sharing her stories with the world.
Drawn to the complexities of relationships, the messiness of life, and the unforgettable characters who make us laugh, cry, love, and sometimes shake our heads, Jasmine gravitates toward stories that keep readers turning pages. With a love for urban fiction and character-driven storytelling, she enjoys exploring the drama, secrets, struggles, and unexpected twists that make every story worth telling.
