I hope the author reads my review! You should be ashamed of yourself for publishing this book!!! I don't think I've been so upset with a book in a long while! How dare you call this the ultimate bible when it is a mere 50 pages? Even the essays I used to write in College were longer, you teach here the most basic things ever, the only way this would be informative to anyone is if they have never read a book on witchcraft, and even then, if they read some wikipedia pages this book would bring absolutely no new knowledge. I bought this in hard-copy, I absolutely and unreservedly regret the money I spent on it, I will send it back. Not only is this book useless when it comes to the knowledge it provides but it is also inaccurate and disrespects practitioners, for instance, the author mentions various times that concerning love spells you should never bind a specific person to you as it will end badly. Any practicing witch (for some years) worth her salt can cast such a spell without if ending "badly" this is real life not some stupid Hollywood film like "The craft". Also, the idea to do no harm, while morally correct, disregards a whole bunch of practitioners who do hexes, curses and the such, who is the author to judge? In conclusion, dear author, I think you were after a quick buck with a very catchy title and had no intention at all of helping the baby witches.

Not very accurate; avoid

The information on offer is simplistic, incomplete (the author instructs the reader to cast a circle without ever saying how you do that), and in at least one case, erroneous (an inverted pentagram is used by Satanists, true enough, but in at least one and probably two traditions, it's used to symbolize putting knowledge into practice).

In addition the Kindle file contains some screamin' honkers of editorial blunders.

If I knew a young person starting the study of the craft, I would advise him or her to avoid putting either time or money into this book. Scott Cunningham's books are better. The serious student would be better served by Janet and Stewart Farrar's "The Witches' Bible."

Witchcraft the Ultimate Bible
Plot: Self-explanatory title. Gives you the how’s and what’s that goes with Wicca and witchcraft.

My Thoughts: This is a light read. You can finish it in minutes if you’re a fast reader. It doesn’t get that much in depth. It touches on the different aspects of Wicca lightly. This is what you’d give someone either starting off as an introduction to see if they wanted to go further. Or someone that had a friend or family member that you told your Wiccan or a Witch and they sincerely wanted to know more about what it was all about. I liked that it cleared negative assumptions as well and not only showed what it was, but what it wasn’t.

Rating: 61/2 Very easy to read and understand!

Informative

This book defines what being a Wicca is about. It despells a lot of misinformation. It's a good start on your path

Simple read

Can't really call this "the Ultimate Bible". It is far from that!!! Looking for a 30 months read, that's extremely dumbed down with no real information, this is it.

A good read

This a good but albeit brief read on witchcraft. I was expecting there to be more meat on its bones given the title. It was a brief outline which was informative, but I was disappointed in the abrupt conclusion.

It’s super brief and a little misleading. It would be a good summary for someone who knows nothing of the religion but wanted a good summary. ALSO they have Samhain in the date wrong. It’s October 31 through November 1st.

I think calling this "The Ultimate Bible" was a bit of a reach. But it was a very nice brief compilation of general information with some useful tips in it.

Good book

I give it to 4 star because its has a lot of details but a little boring. I recommend it to others who want to learn about basic witchcraft, famous witches and so forth.

Great starter

This helps with the basic information on wicca. I like how it explains about the candles and how to set up your ritual spot.
