Hongkongitis is ... an incurable affliction that causes one to secretly love Hong Kong while complaining loudly about it. While everyone else in Hong Kong was out doing real jobs, writer and cartoonist Larry Feign put together this collection of true but ridiculous facts, observations and stupid scientific theories about the most hyperventilating, oddly loveable city on earth. Read irrefutable proof that ... Hong Kong is actually located in France; There's a scientific explanation for why people shout "Wah " every time a flashbulb goes off; Chinglish is the New World Language; The Vatican should relocate to Kwai Chung; A baby's IQ determines the size of her future apartment; Every person in the world is Chinese; Only psychotics should visit Hong Kong doctors... No one is immune from Hongkongitis

He lives walking distance from notorious pirate haunts in a small island village with his wife, their two dogs, and the occasional uninvited python.
In the vein of humorist Dave Barry, Larry Feign takes the reader through a humorous visit to the city of Hong Kong.
With loving familiarity of the short-comings and foibles of the Asian port, Mr. Feign describes issues both big and small, from environmental concerns and why everyone in the world is really Chinese, to the complications of trying to find really good and truly vegetarian cuisine.
A fast and fun read from an author who knows the city's highlights and, not so high.
