Great story
When you have things from your past that could stand in the way of you finally finding your happily ever after will you fight with all the power in you to find your third? I love that Axel knew that Claire was his even when he had to watch her with his ex-best friend, Jett had to overcome the heartache he received from his ex who used him. I'm glad that Claire, Axel, and Jett overcame the fears that was trying to stand in the way of them all having a happily ever after together.

kinda bored
Ok two did not answer any questions that I was left with at the end of book one. The insta love that happened here felt really fake. Even the partnership between between the two men was kinda disappointing. I had high hopes for book two, it I was left rather disappointed. I’m actually kind of upset that I paid for this series. It really should have been from from KU. But in an effort to support a black author here I am. I give this book 2 stars.

Well written with a couple of grammatical mistakes. I did think that Jett gave in too easy if he was so dead set against being in a committed relationship. But so did she. I loved Axel. I want one of him.

July 21, 2020I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. An exciting story. I couldn't put this book down. From start to finish I was mesmerized in the story line. The author's writing and imagination dictate that I look for further works by Auriella Skye

I received a complimentary copy courtesy of the author after reviewing the third in this series and realized I had missed the second. I am so glad I was able to read it because it is my favorite in the series (so far).
It has a plot similar to the first and the third books in the series in that one person in the Triad seems bent on screwing things up for all three of them while other warlocks are being shady. There is the same erotic heat but honestly, the characters were what really made this one for me. Out of all of the sisters, I felt like a connected with Claire the most. Our personalities are very similar and we share the same attitude and mindset. It made the story more personal for me as I could put myself in her shoes. I also really appreciated Axel. Jett was better once he pulled himself out of his pouty pity party. Like all the troublemakers in the Triad, Jett was unnecessarily a jerk until Axel (literally) beat it out of him.
I also enjoyed reading Claire’s side of the story as much of the story has been covered in the other novels in the series. Had I read them in order, I don’t think it would have been as exciting when I read a passage and something clicked into place. It is one of my favorite aspects of this series, which is being able to read different perspectives of characters whose stories are happening at the same time. It was an interesting concept.
Now that I am up to date, I can’t wait for the next in the series. I am hoping the author will put the series into a boxset once it is complete because I would very much like to buy it.

An Awesome Read!
I really enjoyed reading The Alpha Warlock's Desire: An Alpha Warlock's of Kala West Story #2, all about Claire Brixton a young witch & her two Warlock's Axel & Jett. Jett has always felt a pull or a feeling to stay put in Kala West, FL but doesn't understand why. Then one day he's out running and a green light attracts him and he meets his witch, but doesn't know it! Axel has been pinning away for Claire ever since she went out with his college roommate Matt who treated her like trash. It's been six years since college but he still has a thing for her, unbeknownst to her. The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters brought it to life. I read book 1 and loved it just as much as book 2. Now I can't wait to read book 3 to learn Carmen's fate Claire & Charice's little sister. Read this series and fall in love with the hunky Warlock's and the three sister witches, as they learn about each other & what it means to be a triad!

The Board summons Claire to day two to be matched with two warlocks to form her triad. Claire is still hurting from an emotionally scaring relationship in college and no desire to be with anyone. Her younger sister cannot wait to find her two warlocks and is determined to be there, summons or no. Jett and Axel are newly bonded warlocks. Axel would love to complete their triad and Jett wants nothing to do with any witch after his bad experience. A quick read of Claire's bonding.

Great likable Characters
Great likable Characters but the over explaining, effected my enjoyment of the book. I loved the premise, but the execution needs more work.

March 11, 2018Claire Brixton, a curvy earth witch is the second of three witch sisters to be ordered to the Firewick Festival. The festival is held every six months to mate a female witch with two warlocks to create a triad, which blends all their powers and makes them stronger. Her older sister, Charice was mated at the previous festival. Claire wants nothing to do with it after enduring a bad relationship six years ago. She has no confidence, she thinks she is not thin enough, pretty enough, or powerful enough to ever become a triad. Her ex, Matt made her feel bad, cheated on her, and dumped her and she hasn't wanted to date since. Her younger sister Carmen is adamant to attend the festival even though she was not invited. She convinces Claire to help her with an invisibility spell, which explodes in the family shop, causing an unknown warlock to come to her rescue, he has been drawn there and couldn't control his urge to kiss the daylights out of Claire, even though he thinks she is out of her mind, talking to the room like there is someone else there. He takes off as fast as he shows up. Will Claire find her triad, or will she run off and say screw it?
