What will you do for a love that doesn’t belong to you? Jerrod and Nia Middleton are a well-established couple. Jerrod is training to become a Pastor in the church, but is having a hard time accepting the position due to skeletons in his closet. Jerrod is embarrassed to talk to anyone about it and he is scared that Nia will walk out of his life. Nia is very goal oriented and has her life planned out, so she thinks. Nia is also keeping secrets for the sake of the people she loves. What will they do when God starts pulling the curtain on their so called perfect life? Monica has always had problems holding on to men due to her mental health issues. She is willing to go to extreme lengths to get who she wants, even if it means to her death. Monica gets herself in trouble and only has one person to turn to…the person she caused the most harm to. While skeletons are falling out of everyone’s closet and lines are being crossed in marriages, will the Middleton’s make it through the good times and bad? Only God knows the plan.
Good message but the writing seemed a bit adolescent with the use of words and story line. As I mentioned in my comments as I was reading the spelling and grammar took away from the books potential quality. My advice to the author is to keep plugging away you will definitely improve because she has the base.
This was a good Christian fiction read by Jenica. Nia continuously faced many trials & tribulations in her life & her faith in God carried her through. Monica was not only mentally unstable but dangerously mean.. Well written with a good storyline, In Good & Bad Times has me ready to read part 2.
This was an excellent read. I am so used to reading about the street life, sex and drugs, that it was refreshing to actually read a different genre. I just began to really read Christian fiction, and I must say, it is good to read something different. This book kept my attention from the first page to the last. I even reached out to the author to let her know that it was her fault that could not get my housework done, because I was so into this book. It is definitely a must read. Who knew that Christian fiction could be so good. I am so ready for part 2 to see what happens to Monica with her crazy self.
WOW! Now I know exactly why the prelude didn't mention that this book didn't have a cliffhanger, because it was one of the biggest ones I have ended up hanging over in a while. Now I want it to have a sequel though when I chose it to read I was purposely trying to select a stand alone book! The plot, the characters, the flow, and even the fact it was a cliffhanger was all great for me but I have to admit the typographical errors, grammatical errors, and book layout was a bit off at times and gave the book a slightly amateurish feel. Otherwise, it was well deserving of five stars.
This book made me want to go through my Kindle every one of my emotions came through in this book I cried, got Angry, laughed and the hold 9 yard. Monica was something else. A Dog treat there baby better then she treated her Son. She was crazy as Hell. Nina was a very strong woman that believe in standing my Man through thick and thin. Will There faith in GOD help them to survive all the Hell that Monica put them through? So many questions?
This book book held me from beginning to end a must read page turner. I wanted to feel sorry for Jerrod but he choose not to come clean. Ms.Monica is a mess! she is a real live thin line between love and hate type chick. Poor Nia i love how she stick to her morals but stand her ground as well. Hot read grab your copy today!!!
This book kept my attention from beginning to end !! Nia and Jerrod marriage was tested in every way possible .. They went through so much . Only God could help them out of these situations . Monica was off her rocker I felt so sorry for the kids James and jj . A must read !! The ending has my jaw on the floor can't wait until part 2 drops !!!
I really enjoyed this book, first time I read anything by this author. Ready to read book 2. It was a page turner didn't want to put it down. Hope book 2 bring justice to the family and helps James. Oh and I'm a Christian, would I forgive? YES, but also would allow God and justice system to work.
I loved this book from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this as a must read. This was my first time reading this author's book but it will not be my last. I can't wait to read part 2.
Monica is right where she belongs. I hope Nia don't help her out. Jerrod should of been told Nia about his son. Can't wait for part 2 so I can read what other secrets going to come out
I really loved this book, kind of wished I could read the end of the book. There were twist, turns and most definitely suspense! I can't wait to get the next series. Thanks Jenica for a good, no a great read!
This is a rollercoaster ride of a story that keep you turning pages until wee hours of the night. Now I need to read book 2 to see what happens next in the lives of Jerrod and Nia.
I am not a happy camper right now. This book was getting better and better, then all over sudden it's over. I could just scream. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for the next book. (Fingers crossed)
Pretty good book showing good Christian faith. Monica is truly sick...all over a man. James...I hope he's found alive and I wonder how Jarrod will handle J J not being his...
First read by this author and the storyline & the issues the young couple dealt with kept my attention all the way to end. Crazy chick alert! Jerrord's has serious mental issues & stops at nothing trying to get her mind back. Great read, already started on part 2!
