(previously published as part of the Hot Holiday Treats anthology)
Jessie has fallen in love with the perfect guy, Levi, but there’s one tiny problem. The blue-eyed hunk only exists in her dreams. That is, until he greets her in the local shopping mall.
She’d swear they never met before, so how come he knows so much about her – and can tell her the naughty things they did in her dreams?
Warning: Contains a wolf shifter that won’t take no for an answer, and enough hot sex to drive any winter chills away.
Romance author Sofia Grey spends her days managing projects in the corporate world and her nights hanging out with wolf shifters and alpha males. She devours pretty much anything in the fiction line, but she prefers her romances to be hot, and her heroes to have hidden depths. When writing, she enjoys peeling back the layers to expose her characters’ flaws and always makes them work hard for their happy endings.
This standalone Snowdonia Wolves novella does not require that the reader have read the previous books in the series. A very cute, short story about a woman who finds the perfect man where she least expects it and a wolf shifter who will drop everything and travel halfway across the world to be with her.
How edoes one fall in love with someone who exists only in their dreams? This is Jessie's dilemma. She could swear she has never met Levi in real life, he exists only in her dreams. This perfect man awaits her every night when she closes her eyes. Yet, if he isn't real, how do you explain the very real corporeal Levi, who looks exactly like the man of her dreams and seems to know things only her dream Levi knows, showing up at the local mall?
This short hooked me from the very moment Jessie follows a mysterious male voice to the back of the animal shelter and finds what she believes is a very large dog asking for help. The entire scene was just too humorous to put down. The fact that, thinking she was being punked and would end up on some television gag show, doesn't stop her from rescuing the talking dog and helping him escape had me chuckling aloud. Of course, as with all shifter stories, it doesn't end there. Promising that they will meet again, the strange dog disappears.
Here is where we need to stretch our powers of imagination. If a talking dog tells me his name is Levi and we will meet again, I think I'd remember that. Jessie actually seems surprised to meet Levi later on. Other than that, I had such a great time reading this short, I can't wait to read the rest of this series. This is yet another story more concerned with content and less with gratuitous sex scenes. Grey is quickly becoming one of my go to authors for a quick, sweet fix.

This was short yet sweet wolf shifter story. I loved the characters; they drew me in like a moth to a flame. Levi was a a sexy yet hot wolf shifter and the places they visit in their dreams gave the story a magical yet sexy vibe. A cute romance which ticks all the boxes.
>This book is a short story with an HEA. Jessie has some strange things happen to her. She thinks she saved a talking dog from the pound. She also is in love with a man she only sees in her dreams, Levi. Jessie is a normal girl with crushes and a few close friends. She is an only child of very loving parents.
>When Levi shows up in Jessie’s life for real, secrets are revealed, about Levi and Jessie’s family. There really isn’t any huge conflict, just a bit of danger on a snow packed road. The story could have been lengthened by introducing the pack Levi was visiting and really showing Jessie what being with a wolf is all about.
>The love story between Levi and Jessie was cute. If one sexually explicit scene was cut out, the book would be appropriate for a young adult audience. As the story stands, it is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 4 hearts. A lot of information could have been expanded upon, like how Levi ended up at the pound in the first place. The romance was very sweet and the characters of Jessie and Levi were brought to life with realism. Jessie brings out the alpha side of Levi, which is always sexy to see. More to this story would only enhance it. I am a reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock.
I really like this book I like how the characters levi and jess met the love story between them was great and I liked how he come to her in her dreams, the author has done a fabulous job and I would read more of her books.
I had this book free from the author for a honest review I had never read one of her books and I'm so glad I had the chance if you want a quick read then I would recommend this book if you like paranormal shapeshifter books then you won't be disappointed.
Great short shifter book. Jess, an English girl who was on a work visa in New Zealand, is in a rush to donate all her blankets to the dog pound before heading back home. While at the pound she hears a man yelling to let him out. She goes out to get more boxes, and finds a different door to enter. There is only one giant dog squished into a cage. The dog pleads with her to let him out, there are only minutes before news crews will show up. Jess thinks she is nuts, but lets the dog out and has him jump in her car where she takes off at top speed. He tells her his name is Levi and she will see him again. On her flight home, she thinks she lost her mind, had too much to drink, or was just over excited to get home. When she falls asleep on the plane, she has dreams about a sexy guy who calls himself Levi and tells her they had met before, at the pound. Jess keeps having dreams about him, but in her waking hours knows he isn't real. Is he real and does he love her as much as in her dreams?

A Snowdonia Wolves Novella. A quick but awesome read. Jessie spent time away from home and expects to return home and everything be the same. It is a shock to find she is not even the same person, much less her dog or her parents. Levi is a wonderful surprise she never expects to see outside her dreams. Levi never expected to be captured or to met his mate as he escaped.

This was a great novella that is part of the Snowdonia Wolves series that can be read as a standalone story. Yes it's a shifter story, yes there's some drama because of that and yes, there's a HEA but the story itself is so much more than that! The way the characters came to discover one another was unique and refreshing. The way they got to know one another was also very imaginative!
The pace of the story was also very good - it never felt too hurried and the characters were developed enough that you felt drawn in to their story and curcimstances.
This is my first introduction to Sofia Grey's books. I will definitely be reading more of the Snowdonia Wolves series!
**Although I received this book as part of a Giveways promotion, this review is entirely my own opinion. **
When preparing to move back home, Jessie stops by the pound to drop off some bedding. Until she hears a male voice, pleading for her help. The voice is coming from a dog secluded in a cage, and Jessie fears she is losing her mind. Upon the dog's urging, she frees him from his prison and gives him a ride.
As he leaves, he tells her that his name is Levi and that someday, he will see her again.
Then a mysterious man enters her dreams...he calls himself Levi.
And Jessie fears that she has lost her mind.
An incredible story by one of my favorite authors. Once again, Sofia Grey and her Snowdonia wolves series fails to disappoint!
This was a well written shifter romance novella. I was hooked immediately and couldn't put it down. Jessie stops by the pound to drop off some bedding. She follows a male voice pleading for her help to discover it is coming from a dog in a cage. Jessie finally gives in and frees him.
Levi was the caged wolf. He is one sexy shifter! He comes to Jessie in dreams and things get hot between them. I thought both Levi and Jessie were likeable, developed characters. I didn't want this story to end and I will look forward to reading more Snowdonia Wolves books.

Such a great short story. Every girl dreams of her soul mate, she has an idea of the man of her dreams. Jessie is no different. She dreams of her perfect man, Levi, and he seems so real to her. Guess what? Levi is real and he's experiencing everything with Jessie that she's dreaming of. What happens when they meet and she finds out he's real? Can the love she dreamt of be the same in real life? Read this sweet story and find out.
Very enjoyable! Shifter Romance at its best, the mind link between the wolf and his ideal Lady is adorable only meeting in dreams his wolf falls for her deeply. But will they ever meet in human form and if they do will she accept his world.
I received this book free via authors newsletter & I was happy to read & review. I'm intrigued by this series and look forward to reading the other books.
This one made me laugh and laugh! It was so cute how they could communicate in their dreams even though she was very sure they had never met before and Levi was able to romance Jessie completely. I mean really who could ask for more as the way to meet the man of their (literal) dreams! *sigh*
I swear if I ever got to design the perfect romance I would ask Sofia for help!
Caging the wolf is a short story from the Snowdonia Wolves series by Sofia grey. Once again, she did a good job with the writing of the story. I was hoping to have more of the characters I know from the snowdonia books in this but that did not happen. Either way it was still a great short read and I am loving the series.
I enjoyed reading this novella. I love to read shifter love stories and this was a quick and entertaining read. The author did a great job of creating a very sexy werewolf to fall in love with. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Jessie meets her mate but she doesn't know. She thinks she rescued a dog from the pound. She doesn't know that he's a werewolf. He visits her at night in her dreams and finally shows up on her doorstep to talk. Her parents are not thrilled but soon acquiesce. This is a sweet romance.
Sweet story of Fate and love at first site. Finding his mate and then traveling half way around the world just to see if she wants him just as badly, Levi is shocked to learn Jessica has wolf blood too.
Whilst travelling in New Zealand, Jessie rescues a mysterious talking wolf-dog from a pound. Not long after a handsome man named Levi began to appear in Jessie’s dreams, and Jessie finds she’s falling in love with him. When she returns home to England, she’s shocked when Levi shows up in her local shopping mall, claiming they have met before.
I quite liked this. It was interesting for me that it was mostly set in the UK, it was a nice change as I haven’t really read any shifter romances featuring the UK as a setting before. I also thought that the author did a really good job with the characterisations given this was a novella - they were very believable and quite well fleshed out. Levi particularly stood out to me - he was very sweet and caring and I liked that there was a change to the usual overbearing, dominant type of werewolf hero.
I thought the set up of their romance was different and I enjoyed the parts where they were meeting inside the dreams. The romance between them was good. It didn’t have the usual intensity of a shifter romance although it followed most of the usual tropes, but it didn’t suffer for it. The gentler behaviour from Levi was very much in character and suited them both as a couple. I would have preferred a bit more steam, but the scene in the book was well-written.
If I had any criticism, it would be that the story ended a bit bluntly for me. Overall though the novella was really nice to read - the author’s style is almost conversational and it was very engaging, and I thought the romance was very sweet. I would recommend this if you want a quick werewolf shifter romance with a fated mates couple.
This was a great book. I couldn't seem to put it down. Jessie wasn't looking for anything but just working with the Visa until she helped a wolf at a dog kennel where she was dropping blankets off. Then she couldn't stop thinking about Levi. Like they say dreams are supposed to come true well Jessie dream came true. I enjoyed reading shifter romance. I look forward to reading more shifter books and more of Sofia Grey's books.
This shifter story didn't do much for me, although I loved the idea of the dream sequences. It was a fairly short novella with no background though, so other books in the series may be more compelling.
This story had so much potential. I do love a shifter romance and this is the first one I’ve read where the human MC can actually hear and have a conversation (albeit in her head) with her lupine shifter mate, before she knows that that’s who and what he is.
Despite my initial enthusiasm for the hunky shifter, there was no chemistry between the two MC’s and it all felt flat and lifeless.
The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger as such but it stops at a point where you know that there is much more to come. I’m just not sure I’m interested enough to find out what happens next.
I really wish I’d read the reviews before buying this! What a waste of money!!! 85 pages!!! It’s way too short and nothing is really explained. She rescues a wolf from a cage at a rescue centre as he speaks to her in her mind. She flies home to England and every time she falls asleep he appears in her dreams. Then he finds her in the shopping centre. I’m not sure how, but hey ho. Then it just feels really really rushed and it never explains about his feelings at all. Really badly written. Such a shame.
This was a decent read for a free book. I would have liked more information in some spots & some flow issues addressed. Loved the dreamy eyed model for the cover. Can definitely be considered stand alone, though I wonder if I had read the first book, if some of the info would have been there. Worth a read.
