Kirk Thomas Cameron is an American actor, director, and Christian evangelist. Kirk is best known as the lovable teen heartthrob Mike Seaver, of the award winning series Growing Pains. He entertained audiences worldwide as the charming troublemaker. He is also known to many Christians as "Buck Williams" from the Left Behind films -- based on the NY Times runaway best selling novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.

But much more noteworthy than his acting career was his conversion to Christianity. Kirk was not raised in a church-going home and describes himself as a devout atheist from a very young age. By the age of 14 he was so convinced there was no God that he laughed at those who thought there was. But that all changed one afternoon as he sat in his sports car pondering the first Gospel message he had ever heard. Kirk continues to be actively involved in quality family entertainment and travels throughout the country, making the most of every opportunity to further the Gospel. Kirk and his wife Chelsea have six children and live in southern California.

My church did this course together, along with watching the videos. Simply amazing. Really makes you think and understand how important it is to witness to others as the Bible says to do. Easy and understandable ways to communicate to others. Highly recommend to all Christians. I believe being a Christian is not just attending church once a week and believing, but really putting God and the Law of the Bible first in your life. Good luck! Have faith!

I finish this book today but still have a few more weeks to actively engage with people and demonstrate its purpose. The Way of the Master: seek and save the way Jesus did is a work book that enables me to practice evangelism and witness to others. The urgency to be a better Christian is a result of my deeper understanding of God's word.

Most people are probably unaware of the danger there is in living a life without the fear of God. That fear is spending eternity in Hell's fire. An opinion that it is enough to be good condemns us to such a fate if we do not repent for our multitude of sins and accept the Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus tells us that no one is good; only God is good. So, the unaware are not fit for heaven.

Indifferent Christians, too busy with their own lives to care about anyone else, are like passive observers who watch an occupied house burning and do absolutely nothing, not even yell, "Fire!" It takes a true Christian to shake these people into reality and tell them what the Bible really says. Overcoming the fear that keeps us from being active in God's great commission is what this course is all about. Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort teach us how to bypass the intellect and appeal to the conscience when speaking with people. The intellect can be argumentative and is easily fooled whereby the conscience is that inner arbiter who discerns between right and wrong. This is the way Jesus, the Master, demonstrates in the Gospel.

I, now, utilize tools to break the ice when I approach someone to share the Gospel. Kirk and Ray show how they do this proven technique on videos shown in class. They share their fears and how to overcome them but, most importantly, they impress me how vital it is that we learn to share this information because God loves everyone no matter how bad or good we think they are. I feel I am acting on God's will in this course and not just satisfying my curiosity or thirst for learning.

Excellent, excellent, excellent study guide that goes along with The Way of the Master Beginner Training Course. I highly recommend this to all Christians so that we can all be obedient to God and fulfill the Great Commission to evangelize the lost. I am very excited to begin using the "WDJD" strategies when witnessing.

This is a great book for someone who has never witnessed to anyone before. It is a very easy read and enjoyable as well.

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron explain their Biblical approach to sharing the gospel in a Justice society, such as that found in the USA in the 1980's through early 2000's. In the future this approach may need adjusting as the nation's worldview changes (the Bible, I believe, instructs us in how to witness to the three dominant world-views that were the result of the fall). If there is a weakness in Ray's method it is that he never covers the need for the other two worldviews. However, for the intended audience, evangelism training does not get any better.
