I loved this book! It was so cute and enjoyable!

Wiska is super excited to be paired with Citrine for her residential school trip to Wiskling Mountain! However, when Citrine persuades her to join a top secret mission to look for starflowers whilst they’re there, she starts to have her doubts…
When things take a turn, they have to find sanctuary in a hidden spot in Wiskling Wood. With their friendship tested, will they be able to last the dangerous journey? Or was this friendship never supposed to work out…

I really loved this book! All of the illustrations were super cute, and the characters were so amazing and comforting! I loved Wiska, I thought that she was just such a lovely whimsical character, and so was Citrine. But my favourite character had to be Sequin! He was just so cute! I also loved the storyline, as it took turns that I definitely didn’t expect! This was definitely the perfect book to read in my 24 hour readathon! I have realised now that this is not the first book in the Wiska Wildflower book, so I shall definitely be reading that ahead of the third book which is coming out!

I loved returning to this world of crystal, tinsel, Draglet pets and flying flowers for Wiska's second diary. This story covers her school trip, which takes a very rocky turn, followed by a huge sparkly discovery! The theme of friendship continues from book one with both Wiska and Citrine navigating jealousy and honesty. The poignant friendship twist at the end was brilliant.

Harriet's details are like cupcake toppings, colourful, magical and detailed, from campfire colours to antennae sparks!
