Grace has no idea that walking into her new parish is going to change her life in such a dramatic way. Will her new job test her faith, or will she be able to put her desires aside to uphold the oath she pledged?
This will all be tested when her favorite type of sin sits down in the first pew. What she does next is what matters the most.

You mean obstacle?! 💚 Blackmail and revenge 💚 A twist you won't see coming One of the signs that a book is good is when it leaves you speechless after you close it ... And Her Favorite Sin is one of those books! Short, spicy, and full of surprises, I honestly thought this would just be another ordinary erotica where two people look at each other and then goes into OMG I WUV YOU 😍😍 phase two seconds later. And, for the most part ... I was right. Since this is a novella, don't expect a slow burn. The relationship between the girls is very much instalove AND instalust, with a touch of religious themes ... And sapphic romance. But who doesn't love a little taboo? 😏 "𝘼𝙢 𝙄 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝?" Hope and Grace are drawn to each other from day one, and their love train was moving so fast that by the second day after meeting, nothing they did surprised me anymore 😂 At times, it pulled me out of the story bcs as a proud member of Team Slow Burn, I kept thinking, Isn't this a little too fast? Why are you thinking like this about a complete stranger?? 🤨 But yeaaah call me guilty. I was mainly here for the smut ;)) "𝙄'𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙢𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬." The middle of the book made me a little uncomfortable because of another character and a serious case of body betrayal syndrome. I was even tempted to DNF because I just couldn't stand that character. At the same time though, I was fascinated by how the author kept me asking, where on earth is this story going?? And the answer turned out to be somewhere I never expected 😳 While I do think some parts were a little OTT, and I believe this story would've worked even better as a full length novel, it still works perfectly as a quick, delicious snack. That ending absolutely got me. I literally had to reread it because, what do you mean she did that?!!! HOW? WHY?? 💀 Now I'm just sitting here trying to process the ending and wondering why I didn't start reading K.M. Avery's books sooner. "𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙮, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙮."
This is a dark sapphic romance - please read the content warnings
firstly, thank you K.M for actually making me say what the actual fuck just happened out loud with this book.
The story centres around Hope, a young girl stuck in a horrible relationship for the sake of reputation and Pastor Grace, the new Pastor who has a dark past and after seeing Hope sat in the front row of her first sermon, is obsessed with this seemingly sweet and innocent creature.
I loved the whole premise of this novella, it gave a very unique perspective on some of the classic tropes and I think this gave the story a whole new vibe you could sink your teeth into. The pastor x parishioner idea gave the morally greyness of the characters a whole new level as you would not expect this kind of behaviour from devout church goers.
The DV situation surrounding Hope and Elijah seemed somewhat questionable and I think this lead to creating more tension and intrigue as to who knew what and on what level. I enjoyed the whole manipulation between the main characters, it seemed like everyone had an agenda and with the small town trope, it was harder to tell who was on what side of the line, so this also added to the mystery and intrigue.
The love triangle was a more unusual take on the trope and Bo gives off certain daddy vibes but also a LOT of very red flag behaviour that has you questioning which way the story will turn.
The spice was well written and definitely made me hot under the collar but didn't take over from the story itself.
Now for the plot twists. Oh My God! There were moments when I though, oh I know what's going on here only to turn the page and completely wrong. I am still questioning what the hell I read and I want to know more about what happened after and how involved Hope's sweet and innocent Grandparents actually are.
Highly recommend this if you like short spicy sapphic novellas with a real twist.
After reading the ending and then the epilogue, I laid in bed staring at the wall in a daze. I did NOT see that coming. Wowza. I was not prepared, at all!
Overall plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
A wonderful plot filled with revenge, betrayal, lust and lies. A few mvrders and seemingly cute love story… with a few twists so to speak.
The Pastor V Parishioner being FFM (no spoilers) was fanatic. I loved the dynamic between the two. I absolutely loved how the FMC (Hope) had her protection and her revenge and her “fun” too.
Thank you so much for my copy of Her Favorite Sin K.M. Avery! You have done it again! Another amazing plot twist! This book follows a pastor who moves to a new town to start fresh! She is no ordinary pastor though so don’t let her fool you!! She had no idea she would meet a parishioner that’s in an abusive relationship and is in need of saving. This a novella so this is not a slow burn and gets right to it!!

This book was one of my all-time favorites of perfect standing book from this collection
To start things off, I judged the book by the cover. Was absolutely scared to read it not knowing how I would feel about it but the way that we were introduced to Hope and Elijah and everything. Their relationship had gone through as a couple and her abuse in a relationship, mental and physical. We also then met Grace who was a pastor, one of higher standard that everybody would look to for guidance, Hope and trusting her and not so much using her position for influence, but knowing how to proceed with what she wanted and how she felt Grace was there to be the savior for Hope when needed. Meeting Boe who had been pinning over Hope since day one. The events in the book I will not go into, but I would read this at a.🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the spicy scale. Do you remember that there is a virgin in the book who does eventually lose her virginity. I will tell you there is a plot twist at the end of the book that I did not expect an event that happened.
This is my feeling on this book. Please read for yourself and tell us how you feel about it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ARC Review | Her Favorite Sin by K.M. Avery
K.M. Avery has a way of pulling you into a story and refusing to let go, and Her Favorite Sin is no exception. This book delivers an emotional roller coaster filled with tension, forbidden attraction, healing, and characters you’ll find yourself fiercely rooting for.
What stood out most to me was the balance between the romance and the heavier emotional themes. The chemistry is undeniable and full of slow-building anticipation without overshadowing the heart of the story. Every twist kept me turning the pages, and I was constantly wondering what would happen next.
The characters felt layered and authentic, making it impossible not to become invested in their journey. Watching them confront their pasts while searching for hope made this far more than just a romance—it was a story about finding the courage to choose yourself.
If you enjoy emotional romances with suspense, complex relationships, and plenty of angst mixed with heartfelt moments, this is one to add to your TBR.
Trigger Warnings: • Domestic violence and emotional abuse • Discussions of suicide and trauma
This book was crazy! It had so many twists and turns and the absolute most shocking ending that I did NOT see coming. 🤯
We follow Hope, who is trapped in an abusive relationship, living in a small town with what seems like very little hope that anything will ever change. That is until she meets the new pastor, Grace.
Grace is definitely not your usual pastor. This woman has secrets and she’s also falling hard for Hope. But Hope should be completely off limits, especially when a relationship with her could threaten Grace’s job.
These two go on one wild journey filled with romance, spice, mayhem, revenge and justice. There were so many moments where I thought I knew where this story was going, only for another twist to completely throw me.
I honestly can’t say too much without giving away spoilers, but that ending?! SHOCKED. I did not see it coming at all! You need to read this one for the plot twists alone.
I made this review using the peach rating system by Erin Smith.
!! Always check the trigger warnings, before reading !!
Plot 5/5: The plot was great. The storytelling and has a good pace. I loved the twists and unexpected turns. Especially at the end.
Enjoyment 5/5: I devoured this book. I couldn’t stop reading it and read it in a couple of hours.
Artistry 5/5: The story is very well written. The story sucked me completely in and made me doubting my own sanity.
Characters 4/5 Wow did I liked the characters in this story. Grace with her sins, Boe with his problems and then Hope. Was she a double faced character in this story. Maybe there would be some more background on Elijah and Boe.
Heart 5/5: This book was a real rollercoaster with it’s twists and turns. It is full with lies, lust, betrayal and revenge. I really enjoyed it. This is not a book for the faint-hearted. Do you like a good dark and very sinfull story than you have to read this book.
K.M has offically became the queen of plot twists. That ending ... WHAT... I never saw it coming in the slightest. Im this book you meet Hope (Fmc) who's home life isn't for the faint of heart. Grace (Fmc, New Pastor) moves into town and sees what happening with Hope and wants to help. Will Grace save Hope? Or will Hope's life end tragically? You'll have to read to find out. I absolutely devoured this read with no hesitation and I highly recommend this be added to your tbr because this books plot twist is one to remember for decades to come. If you love a small town forbidden romance with a plot twist that'll have you yelling at night into the abyss then this is the read for you! If i could rate this a 7 out of 5 stars I most definitely would! Highly Recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This story may be a short read but my god did it pack a punch....
Never go into a story thinking someone is so sweet and innocent because this story took me on a whole new journey that at the end I was actually staring at the wall.
The author managed to shock me with this plot and I was so here for the twisted story because it was absolutely amazing.
Never did I see that ending coming I absolutely loved the twist.
I can't say to much I'm trying to keep it spoiler free but I will say this gave going to church a whole new meaning.
Holy plot twist! I really didn't know what to expect going into this story, but K.M. knows how to get you hooked. I definitely did not see that twist coming that's for sure. I enjoyed the story between Hope & Grace. At first I was on the fence with the Pastor/Parishioner, since it's its a trope I've never read before. However, I didn't mind it, the plot was just too good. This is a shorter read so there is no slow burn and the spice was spicing. I still haven't been able to pick up another book after this one.
This book had me intrigued from the get go. So many twists and turns that i didn't expect. I was surprised with Boe. I sensed there was something about him but didn't expect that. Glad he got his just dessert. The biggest shock was the ending. I did not see that coming at all 😲 The spice was 🌶🌶🌶🌶 Its not the usual style that i read but I was hooked the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed it

Wow! Wow! Okay so ive never read a book at all with 2 females that get it on. Was different let me tell you! But. This story between Grace and Hope. Wow! Short book. But so good omg. The ending and the twists through the book 🤯 Didn't see them coming that's for sure. I gave this book 5 stars because it was an easy read. I loved the twists and I never expected them. Definitely a must read. Read trigger warnings ⚠️
Her Favorite Sin sounds like an intriguing romance built around faith, temptation, and difficult choices. Grace stepping into a new parish only to have her biggest temptation sitting in the first pew is such a simple but effective setup. I’m curious to see how she handles the conflict between her desires and the oath she made. It sounds like a compelling read for anyone who enjoys forbidden romance and emotional tension.
This book was jaw dropping. So freaken good. The spice is spicing hot🔥🥵. I was up until 12am reading this book bc I needed to finish it. Wtf that plot twist at the end I didnt see coming!.

This was a very interesting storyline about a pastor Grace who moves to a new town and comes across Hope, a young girl who is being abused. Grace and Hope feel something for each other but don't feel like they should. Do they explore their feelings or just walk away. You will need to read the book to find out!
Wow I was not expecting the twists and turns on that one. I was shocked at the very end. I sat there for 5 minute wondering what the hell did I just read! But it was so good! I was only going to give it 4 stars but that ending deserves 5!
Wow, things really didn’t go in the direction. I thought they were going. I didn’t expect this to turn as dark as it did, but it was such a fun read, and I really can’t wait to look into the rest of the compilation.
This book was so good! I zipped through it in no time, I couldn’t put it down! From page one I needed to know more and the twists and turns were everywhere and the spice had me ready to confess! Grab this one when you want a hot revenge story that hits you with twists until the very end!
Meet Grace, Hope and Boe. OH MY!! I can’t even- there are no words. What a story. You just have to read this. Check your triggers, it is dark and fantastically gray. I devoured this book. Spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and stars are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is a quick read. I read it over 2 nights. It is fast paced and keeps you wanting more. There ate lots of twists thay we not expected at first. The end left me totally surprised and wanting more from Hope.
Small town romance with dark romance FFM. Full of triggers so you've been warned. Trauma healing and sweet romance but with a dark side. Twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Buckle up!
This one pulled me in and kept me in my seat until I was finished. This was so good. Even though it was a little shorter in length, it was awesome. I loved the twists and turns in this. Devoured this one. Can’t wait for more.
Well this book quickly took a turn to dark. I am happy for the FMC… I think lol. But I’m definitely happy for Zeus! There is so many unexpected moments that it keeps you guessing and wondering what will be next.
This story pulled me in right away and had me guessing to the very end because I didn't see that coming at all. What a mind meld. Guess it is true that still waters run deep.
What an amazing read! I was hooked from the first chapter and man I did not expect this book to be as dark as it was and the end was Whew!!! I am a huge fan of KM and i can't wait for her next book to come out
This was an amazing book! I wish it would have been longer but even with it being short I loved the story. The ending surprised me to no end and definitely made it a five star read for me!
