Nicte fled the Crown, but she cannot escape her magic.
And her power could destroy everything.

The new dark romantasy you won’t be able to put down.

Nicte is a Scriptria, a magical scribe bound to the Crown.
Raised to serve. Trained to obey. Never meant to escape.

But she ran away, and now survives in the shadows of Oreste’s undercity, hiding a power that could turn her into the kingdom’s most valuable… and most dangerous weapon.

Aletris is a noble vampire as ancient as the laws he protects. Immortal. Deadly. Relentless.
Hunting rogue witches is his duty, and he has never let one escape.

When the kingdom begins to fracture, he is sent to find those responsible and bring them back, no matter the cost.
Their alliance was meant to be temporary.

But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore what burns between them.
Because Nicte is hiding secrets, and Aletris has a mission.
And in a world where truth itself can be rewritten, falling in love with the wrong ally may become the deadliest mistake of all.
