This was a really cute instalove romance. It was a short story with a good flow. I loved the meet cute, Harrison was so cute in his inability to keep his mouth shut but my favorite thing about it was that even though Daisy pretended to be unaffected, she wasn’t. They just had the best chemistry and I was all for it.

Great hockey romance

If you love a good hockey romance with lots of fun then this is your book. Harrison takes one look at Daisy, owner of the Sin Bin Bar and that’s it for him. But getting her to date him is another thing. This is sweet, fun, fast paced and steamy. Loved the banter between Harrison and Daisy. Great hockey romance.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏒💋 Hockey Star Meets the One Woman Who Isn’t Impressed! 😂❤️‍🔥

I absolutely loved Hat Trick Kisses! Harrison and Daisy were such a fun couple, and I was hooked from the moment this confident hockey player thought his first career hat trick deserved a celebratory kiss—only for Daisy to give him an epic eye-roll, offer him a free beer, and walk away. 😂🏒🍺

Harrison getting rejected in front of his entire team was hilarious! He’s used to winning, he’s having the best night of his career, and suddenly there’s this gorgeous woman who couldn’t care less about his hockey stats. Naturally, that makes him want her even more. 😍

Daisy was definitely my favorite kind of heroine. She’s curvy, confident, owns part of The Sin Bin, and has absolutely no intention of falling all over herself because a handsome professional athlete gives her attention. I loved that she made Harrison work for it! 💕😂

And Harrison was completely adorable once he set his sights on Daisy. What starts with him wanting one celebratory kiss quickly becomes an over-the-top case of I need this woman in my life. ❤️‍🔥 I especially enjoyed that Daisy’s lack of interest in his fame was exactly what intrigued him. She sees the man rather than the hockey star, even if she makes him earn every bit of her attention.

Their banter and chemistry made this such a fun, easy read. With minimal drama, there was plenty of room to simply enjoy Harrison pursuing Daisy and watching her defenses slowly come down. 🥰

Curvy heroine, hockey star, insta-love, he falls hard, lots of humor, great banter, and a confident woman who benches the golden boy before he even gets his first kiss—YES! 🏒💋❤️

Short, sweet, funny, and romantic with just the right amount of heat!

Definitely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I had such a fun time with Hat Trick Kisses! From the very first setup—Harrison riding high after his big hockey moment only to get hilariously shut down by Daisy—I knew I was in for a playful, feel-good read. Their first interaction has that perfect spark of humor, confidence, and instant chemistry that makes you want to grab a cozy drink and keep turning pages.

Loni Ree does a wonderful job giving this short romance a big personality. Harrison is charming without being too smooth, Daisy is delightfully unimpressed in the best way, and their banter makes the story feel lively and fresh. I especially enjoyed how the author balances flirty confidence with sweetness, keeping the tone upbeat, lighthearted, and easy to enjoy.

This is the kind of quick, cheerful romance that feels like a little treat—funny, swoony, and full of heart. If you enjoy curvy-girl romance, determined hockey heroes, low drama, and over-the-top insta-love energy, this one absolutely delivers. A charming addition to the Houston Lonestars series and a definite five-star smile-maker!.

**Bar Owner and the Hockey Player!**

Hat Trick Kisses by Loni Ree is part of the multi-author series The Houston Lonestars, and Harrison and Daisy are just the cutest couple ever to fall in love!

Harrison has played his best game ever by scoring his very first hat trick, and to celebrate, he is planning to ask for a kiss. When Harrison sees Daisy, she’s the one he wants that kiss from. As the bar owner of The Sin Bin, Daisy is simply hilarious and so not impressed by Harrison. Even though she thinks he’s hot and sexy, she is definitely not about to kiss him—and she has no problem turning him down in front of everybody!

But that doesn’t stop Harrison from wanting Daisy, which only makes their banter even more flirty and fun. I loved watching their connection grow, and their chemistry is both electric and spicy. Harrison’s determination to win Daisy over while she tries to resist him makes their interactions so much fun to read.

Truly making Daisy and Harrison’s quick and easy instalove story an enjoyable bedtime read to end the day with.

Fun, short romance
This is the first short story in a multi author set of six hockey books, built around the men in the Houston Lone Stars series.
Hockey player Harrison heads to The Sin Bin bar and is floored when he spots the most gorgeous woman.
Unable to form coherent words he asks for a kiss from her, as he just pulled off a hat trick on the ice that day.
Daisy part owner of the bar is secretly flattered but gives him the brush off with some witty remarks.
Not wanting to get involved with a hockey player but extremely attracted to him.
However Harrison doesn’t give up easily and pursues her after that night as he believes she’s “the one for him”.
Their chemistry is off the charts and they quickly become inseparable.
This was a fun, really short spicy story, of two unlikely people falling for each other and building a life together.
I’m looking forward to reading the next story in this multi author set.
Thank you Loni Ree and Booksprout for the opportunity to read this book.

Hat Trick Kisses by Loni Ree was a fun, quick, and steamy hockey romance! Harrison may be confident on the ice, but Daisy definitely makes him work for her attention, and I loved their chemistry from the start. Daisy is a fantastic heroine, she’s confident, independent, and not easily impressed by Harrison’s charm or hockey-star status. The banter between them was playful and entertaining, and I enjoyed watching Harrison fall for Daisy so quickly. This is definitely an insta-love romance, so the relationship moved fast, but it worked perfectly for the short length of the story. There’s plenty of flirting, spice, humor, and just enough drama to keep things interesting without becoming overly angsty. Overall, Hat Trick Kisses was a short, lighthearted, steamy hockey romance with a confident heroine and a swoony hero.

Harrison and Daisy were such a fun couple, and I was hooked from the start. The fact that this confident hockey star gets rejected in front of his entire team because Daisy couldn’t care less about his fame? HILARIOUS.

Daisy was everything I wanted in a heroine—curvy, confident, independent, and completely unimpressed by Harrison. I loved watching him work for her attention while falling harder and harder.

Their banter and chemistry were SO good, and Harrison was honestly adorable once he realized he wanted this woman in his life.

Curvy heroine, hockey star, insta-love, great banter, and a golden boy completely gone for the one woman who benches him before he even gets his first kiss.

Short, sweet, funny, and romantic with just the right amount of heat!

This is a fun and steamy instalove romance story.

Harrison and his hockey teammates are enjoying an after a game at a bar when he meets Daisy, and his world is turned upside down. Unfortunately the introduction doesn't end as he wishes, so he is about to do anything to make sure she knows that he is truly the one for her. Daisy is the owner of the Sin Bin and is used to advances, but there is something about Harrison that feels differently. So when he starts pursuing her, she decides to give him a chance and it leads to their ultimate connection.

Though theirs is an instalove, the dates, the moments are sweet, funny, and steamy. Great read.

This book is a part of the Houston Lonestars series and focuses on Harrison and Daisy. Harrison is a hockey player for the Houston Lonestars that goes to a local bar to celebrate his career first hat trick. While there, he meets Daisy and immediately has his life turned upside down. He knows Daisy is his right away but he doesn’t make the best first impression. While their first meeting was less than stellar, Harrison refuses to give up and is determined to win his woman over. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Harrison is a hockey play who scores a hat trick in his game, and is out celebrating with his teammates. The owner of the bar, Daisy, walks up to take their order and Harrison is hit by how much he wants her to be his. He asks for a kiss for his hat trick and she blows him off instead. She is not unaffected by him. Daisy needs to get away from him so she went to her office. This story is insta-love but the they work so perfectly together you can’t help but root for them!.

Perfect fun and quick instalove romance read featuring a hockey player who falls for a feisty bar owner. I loved how befuddled Daisy made Harrison by not being impressed with him at all-hockey player or not. However, she is just as attracted to him underneath her indifferent persona. Can he get the girl? I so enjoyed all of the banter as they figured it out between them. Sweet with a serving of hot steamy sizzle.

Harrison and Daisy are well written addictive characters. Daisy is curvy defiant and isn’t going to make herself smaller or fall all over herself for some professional hockey player who shows some interest. Harrison always gets what he wants, everyone is always impressed by his athleticism. Daisy turns him down in front of the whole team and what a shocker! This is a fun, funny, short and steamy read. Loved it! ♥️♥️.

Loved it, quick read. The FMC owns a bar. The MMC is a pro hockey player. His team celebrates wins at the FMCs bar. He falls for her the minute he sees her Tries a corny line on her that doesn’t work. The next day he goes back before opening to get her to go on a date with him. She lets him in, he carries liquor boxes for her. They go to lunch and their journey together begins. Great spice and a sweet HEA.

It’s such a sweet and cute novella! Harrison embarrasses himself in front of Daisy the first time they meet when he suddenly loses all his usual swagger. But he quickly makes it up to her by apologizing and going out of his way to help her.

This is a swoony little romance, with instant chemistry between Harrison and Daisy. Their connection is adorable, and watching their relationship unfold makes for a fun, feel-good read.

While out celebrating with the team, Harrison, a Houston Lonestar, who is used to getting his way, gets turned down by Daisy, who takes his order. Daisy is part owner of the Sin Bin Bar and was just the type of woman Harrison needed in his life. These two are perfect for each other, and I loved their back and forth banter. This is a sweet and steamy, fast paced, hockey romance with likable characters. Hat Trick Kisses is a great addition to the multi-author Houston Lonestars series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Harrison and Daisy had such a great story! He moved to Houston to play Hockey after leaving from a small town in Maine. He walks in a bar and sees the love of his life. Daisy is also wonderful. She smart, hardworking and absolutely in love with Harrison from the moment he asked for a kiss as a reward. Such a cute book!!.

Part of "Houston Lonestars" - various authors. Harrison Stafford is a mountain of cocky hockey hunk. Celebrating at The Sin Bin bar after winning a game in which he scored a hat trick, Harrison is floored by a petite goddess working the bar like a well-oiled machine. Daisy Castille has a firm no dating athletes policy, but Harrison has her seriously reconsidering. He keeps showing up at her bar and her resistance is fading fast. A spicy little novella !!!

Can I get a hat trick kiss? This is the line that kicks off the relationship between Daisy and Harrison. There certainly isn't a lot of dialogue to build their relationship, but I guess when you know it's right, you just go with it. Several chapters span their first time together, and boy is it steamy. I'd love a partner who was a thorough as Harrison was with her.

3.75 - 4 stars.

I believed in the connection and chemistry between these two, liked that Harrison didn't give up, and that Daisy couldn't not give home a chance. I liked seeing them get to know each other and go after a relationship, I also liked that Harrison could just be himself when they were together, that they supported each other and that they were so natural together.

Loni Ree's hockey romances are my new favorite. I've always had a soft spot for hockey romances, now add Loni's flare to it? Yes, please! I adore her characters. Daisy initially turning away from Harrison's advances? Go girl! Harrison doing everything in his power to win her over? Nice! Together, they are unstopable and I enjoyed every minute of their romance.

Loni Ree kicks off the brand new multi-author Houston Lonestars series with Hat Trick Kisses. A cocky but swoony hockey player, a sassy smart bar owner, and enough heat to melt the ice. I love that Daisy does not immediately fall for Harrison's charm - and his determination to win her over proves he's not just looking for a puck bunny. A steamy, entertaining read.

Daisy and Harrison are fire together. He’s a pro hockey player who gets knocked sideways by the sassy mouthed bat owner. She’s not going to make it easy despite him being the only man to make her want to break her no athlete rules. He’s fighting for her heart and it’s fun flirty and so worth the read! Loved it.

What an interesting meet-cute and I loved that Daisy did not give in to Harrison that easily. Some things are worth putting in effort for, and Daisy is surely worth his time.

Harrison clearly showed her that he was all-in and I loved how the story started and ended at the very first spot they met.
