THERE IS PROBABLY A SPOILER BELOW! DO NOT YELL AT ME IF YOU READ ONE. BUT FOR HEAVENS SAKE ONE-CLICK THIS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN DARK EROTICA!
When Alexis Riddley asked if I would be interested in reading her debut novel, I had no idea what to expect. What I discovered was a beautifully written dark erotica full of twist and turns that kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.
This story absolutely blew me away. There are not enough words to express to Alexis how much I loved this story. The rambling commentary I blew her IMs up with was just the tip of the iceberg. Talk about a book hangover.
There were so many twist and turns throughout this story to keep my mind swirling with what if possibilities. My heart would be hurting for one person in one chapter and in the next chapter; I would be glaring at them. Alexis kept me enthralled from start to finish.
The emotion Alexis was able to pull from me was intense. I was petrified for Charlotte West when she pulled up at home and did not want to pull inside her garage. My mind was running so many ‘Oh my god! What does this evil man do to her’ scenarios that I was on pins and needles myself. Then the more I read the more I had had to know what went down.
Charlotte ‘Charlie’ West did not see herself as brave, beautiful, or even in the same league as her husband Winston West. To her he was her salvation to survive. As much as she wanted to hate him, she needed him to live. In reality she was extremely strong, absolutely stunning, and could bring many men to their knees.
I absolutely loved Charlotte’s character. She kept the story flowing and the reader on the edge of their seat as she told her story. She was witty, business smart, and she knew what she wanted and what she would have to do to keep it.
Winston West in my eyes was a monster for most of the book. He was a gorgeous, arrogant, pompous, monster! I swear to you I wanted to crawl in this book and wring his neck on numerous occasions. Every time he did something I would mumble, you (beep)!
Then all of the sudden I wanted to wrap this man up in my arms and hug him tight. You know the line ‘Never judge a book by its cover?’ That was Winston. I had judged him, convicted him, and threw away the key. By the end of this story, I was asking for his forgiveness.
Winston is one sexy misunderstood man. Everything this man does he does it out of love. He loved Charlie more than she could ever imagine. Why do men keep that crap all bottled up?! Tell us for Pete’s sake!
Then we had Aiden Ellis, this gorgeous man was broken on so many levels. All he wanted was to be loved. He would take it any way he could get it. He heated up the pages with Charlie and Winston. This trio tried to find a balance for their twisted love affair.
The way Alexis described Aiden had me wanting to climb in the book and lick this sexy man from head to toe.
Aiden would protect Charlie from Winston when she needed him to. The lover she never knew she was missing until he joined them. Charlie and Aiden’s bond was strong. She needed him in ways she did not realize.
Aiden had so many secrets that when they all came to a head, it left my mouth gaping open. I am sure someone needed to close it. Seriously, just wow! It takes a lot to surprise me and leave me speechless and Alexis did twice towards the end of this book.
I am telling you right now people. This book is HOT!! Like smokin’ hot! The delicious things that go down in this book are just yummy! Charlotte, Winston, and Aiden are one hot twisted trio!
I cannot wait to see what else Alexis Riddley has in store for us! You had better start stalking this author now!

Enough Secrets was definitely the most interesting read I've come across in a while. When I first started this story, I wasn't sure what to think. I was a bit confused but as the story progressed, it all became clear.
This is the story of Charlotte, Winston and Aiden. Charlotte and Winston have been in love and married for years. Aiden comes into the picture as Winston's friend and business partner. Though they've been married for quite some time, there is still much of Winston's past that she doesn't know. These secrets end up changing the dynamics between them.
The secrets and lies are so embedded in the story that I don't want to give anything away. I can say that there was a point I thought I had figured everything out and it turned out I was completely wrong. And the ending was NOT what I expected. I was shocked...to say the least.
If you're looking for a quick read with a twist, this is it!

Where do we start.... 1st we are still glad we have our kindle after an ending like that!!
A tangled web of 2 that becomes 3 based on lies, deceit, trust, honesty, lust and loyalty and many secrets.
The story of Charlotte, Winston and Aiden isn't your everyday love story but its there story and the lengths they will go to too hide there past and secrets.
There love and passion in a circle of lies secrets but pure love is very raw and emotional.
Charlotte is at the mercy of her husband and his business partner they complete her, they work, they know each other completely or do they?
What secrets are Winston and Aiden hiding from her?
Will there tangled web be pulled apart?
We really loved this book at the start we thought it wasn't to bad but then it really kicked up a notch and there were some twists and turn we didn't see coming that left us utterly speechless and heartbroken.
Great 1st read cant wait to read the next thank you Alexis for an amazing read!

Chapter One FREAKED me out, but in a good way. As I started to read this book, by first time author Alexis Riddley, I couldn’t help but think that this could easily be made into a movie. I am sure that is a compliment to the writer and her vivid storytelling. The main character, Charlotte West arrives home and, you as the reader, are swept up into her world in such a shocking and unbelievable manner that you cannot help but read on. Throughout I kept thinking...”did I just read that?”
Charlie (Charlotte) is married to Winston West and their marriage, like many, is far from perfect. As the title suggests, there are LIES and DECEIT. Would most women want to be treated like Charlotte in real life? Probably not. But this is fiction and as you read on, the book takes many turns as you watch their relationship evolve, mature and transform. Just like in real life, there is always room for forgiveness and people can reinvent themselves and their relationships.
I didn’t really know what to expect, and I certainly don’t want to spoil this read for you, but you will have to experience it for yourself. Just know this, maybe what you think you feel in Chapter One is not necessarily what you’ll be feeling later on. I’m not sure that there are any other stories out there like this one.
Plus, there is plenty of LUST in the book to keep LIES AND DECEIT company. Don’t you just love it when a women author can write erotica so perfectly? No lies or deceit here!

First let me warn you, this book will leave you completely mind blown. Like mouth hanging open, wondering what in the world just happened. I’m still feeling that way. I had absolutely no idea how events would turn in this book. I was drawn in, and I couldn’t stop reading. No matter how hard I tried to figure out how the author would go with this story, I never knew the outcome until the very ending. Alexis did an amazing job keeping me on my toes, and every step of the way I questioned everything about Winston, Charlie, and Aidan. I promise you, there is no way to figure this book out unless you read it. And you should read it. This was a different type of book for me, and I am very surprised how much I enjoyed it. I’ve read thousands of dark reads before, but this one isn’t necessarily a dark read. Messed up situations, yes. Crazy things happens, yes. But this was different. This takes a regular story and twists it. Could it be realistic…possibly. Like I said before, this book was addictive. I couldn’t help but to finish ASAP. I had to know what in the world was going to happen and when I got to the ending, I was in such a book hangover. Had no idea what happened would happen. Awesome job Alexis with keeping me on the edge! Looking forward to seeing what she comes up with next!

From the blurb of this book I knew it wasn't a HEA book yet I still loved it, I decided to take the plunge with this book after it was recommended by a friend. I am so glad I read it, I wasn't able to put it down, I was totally engrossed in the scenes written down in front of me.
Charlotte West in all appearances had everything, a successful loving husband and a great home, she lacked for nothing. Little did anyone know the secrets she, her husband and his business partner Aidan shared and the things that went on behind closed doors. Everything was certainly not as it seemed and as lies were uncovered she had decisions to make to find herself a greater standing in the secret life she had with Winston and Aidan and the life she harboured from others.
This debut novel by Alexis Riddley was full of visceral, emotional and hard hitting scenes. I loved the awesome twists in it, I would think I had the characters figured out then in one sentence/chapter everything changed.
A fantastic debut novel, looking forward to reading more from Alexis Riddley.

When I first started this book I was certain that Winston was an abusive, controlling husband and Aiden was the good guy. The one who was going to save Charlotte and sweep her off her feet by showing her the love that she deserved but boy was I wrong!
Charlie needs to be Dominated and Winston needs to Dominate that makes them the perfect couple, or so it would seem, but there are things that come to light that really made me gasp in shock and cringe in discomfort.
Aiden was not who I thought he was and I was so shattered when I discovered his real agenda. He is a wolf in sheep clothing. Don't be fooled by his words like I was!
My heart cracked when Winston finally broke down and told his wife just how much she meant to him. It was such a profound and emotional part of the book and it changed my opinion of him just a bit.
The ending is not something I seen coming and the heartache and grief tore me apart. I was so emotionally invested in this book that I cried for a good 20 minutes after I finished the last page.

Enough Secrets and Enough Time are the kind of stories that make you drop everything so that you can read them in a single sitting. You're so drawn to the characters and their story, that you hate to have to stop reading. You think about the characters and count down the time until you read more. I was completely blown away by Enough Secrets and Enough Time, my separate reviews follow.
I read the synopsis of Enough Secrets, but nothing prepared me for the amazing story that unfolded, and I'm struggling to write this review without spoiling it. First of all, the dynamics between Winston, Charlie (Charlotte) and Aiden are intense, sexy, twisted and not at all what I'd expected. That's a HUGE treat in any story. I've read stories with a similar baseline, but there was so much more to this story, a lot more. Alexis Riddley took so many elements and tied them together masterfully. You had BDSM, ménage, mystery, psychopathy, revenge and regret. I found myself, cringing, gasping, and maybe shedding a tear or two. This is one of those rare stories I'll be reading again, perfect!

I'm going to warn you that this is a dark tale. It's not all sunshine and happiness. It is quite the opposite. But one that totally intrigued me and I just couldn't stop, needing to know more about this total deranged relationship between these three characters.
Winston and Charlotte on the outside look like the perfect couple. Winston runs a successful business with a partner, Aiden, who is his perfect match. But looks are deceiving and Charlotte is afraid of where her life is heading, especially with these two alpha men in her life.
There were so many twists and turns and just when you thought you knew where the storyline was going, BAM! it would take off in an entirely different direction. I was on the edge all the way to the epilogue and was blown away by how perfectly executed the story went. I totally did not see this ending coming. At. All.
HIGHLY recommend this short story by Alexis Riddley and can't wait for more stories from her.

Wow.. When I first started reading I didn't know what to think. But things started to coming together real quickly. Winston and Charlotte are married, he is successful, dominate and a bit broken. Winston has held on to a huge secret for years but when Aiden comes into the picture, Winston's secret starts to unravel. The story jumps back and forth from past to present giving you an understanding on what has transpired that have lead you to the recent events and let me say. I was shocked and heartbroken, angry and sad, but I loved every minute of it..
If you like a dark erotic read, full of suspense this is is definitely a must read.

Seriously this book has totally done my head in, I cannot begin to explain what I have read, but what I will say is I absolutely loved it.
It has left me speechless so my review may make no sense.
I have spent two days trying to write it.
It's a depraved and twisted story with the Biggest twists I have ever read. This isn't a romantic story, It's erotic, sexual and has a lot of dominance in it.
It's brutal, mind blowing and a book you certainly must read
I really can't say anymore as it will just spoil this book for you

I think I'm going to have to give this book a 3.5 star rating. I’m not sure how to feel about this book. It started out interesting. I mean, you weren’t sure what was going on. You soon figured out as you read more into it what was going on and who you should really trust. Winston and Aiden are partners plus best friends. Winston married Charlotte and made the perfect life for her. During this whole time, Aiden wasn’t happy with Winston’s choice of partner and was determined to end it. It has a bit of action and an ending you never see coming.

The wrong person dies!
This story was just sort of shocking and I read such dark stuff that is hard to do. Its keeps you guessing about who is the real villain and who is the victim till the end. Wow I want to read it again. What did I just read?

Surprising!
My one disappointment is the ending because I've always been a fan of the HEA. However, it was well written and I loved the story line. There were a few surprises, which I always enjoy. I respect any author that can keep me guessing.

Dark, twisted, and oh so much fun to read. The ending was an absolute killer! I can't wait to dive into book 2.

Let me start by saying this is a FANTASTIC debut novel from Alexis!! This is that book that literally had me sitting on the edge of my seat. At one point, my kindle was going dead and I literally crawled on top of my kitchen counter because I could not put this book down. This book literally left me speechless, my mouth hanging open, and tears YES tears running down my face.
I don’t do spoilers so I will try to explain a few things the best I can. Charlotte has everything she could ever ask for. She has not 1 but 2 wonderful men in her life that give her everything she needs. All 3 have a routine that they stick by. Their needs satisfy each of them in their own way. Just when you think things are going one way BAM this is where the secrets and lies start to spill. I thought I had everything figured out until Alexis left me questioning everything. There are so many times I wanted to SCREAM and JUMP UP AND DOWN. I literally could not believe what was happening. I loved Winston and Aiden OR at least I thought I did. Who wouldn’t love 2 men who could give you everything you ever wanted? But when the lies start to spill, my views changed and did a complete 360 for one of the characters. I can honestly tell you Alexis shocked me into silence with the ending of this book. I WAS NOT expecting the outcome. Please don’t miss out on this amazing book. It is definitely a thrilling ride that will leave you breathless until the very end. Just wanted to throw in that I am keeping my fingers crossed for more books from Alexis very soon!!!

I enjoyed the fact that the reader knows that 3 characters had a troubled past, I love the dark and twisted love triangle. I disspised Winston for most of the book for the secrets he kept and the lack of attention he showed Charlie. I was completely thrown when all secrets were revealed! And Adien, totally wasn't expecting that, I love HEA but I also enjoy a sad ending every once in a while, especially this books ending because you had know idea whose head you was inside until the very end.
