Sterek - 6 part series
I Like it When -
They're in the middle of fucking when Stiles really notices it for the first time. He's got Derek on his back and Stiles is sitting on his dick, taking things slow in an attempt to see how long they can stand it, how long it'll take either of them to cave and pick up the pace. That was the plan but when Derek gets his hands on Stiles' hips and Stiles can feel him tensing up in preparation to move Stiles the way Derek wants him to, he grabs Derek by the wrists and pulls his hands up instead, pins them down next to his head. He has no illusions about being able to hold Derek down but he's feeling playful.
The Way I Feel -
“Okay, go away,” Stiles says loudly to make sure that Scott and Erica can hear him over Derek’s growling. His hands are so slick with blood, he keeps fumbling his keys, barely managing to unlock the Jeep and get out his emergency duffel. “Leave him the fuck alone for a bit.”
"We’ll go and take care of the corpse,” Scott says, taking the duffel out of his hands and unzipping it for him. He holds out a towel to Stiles, looks him up and down. “You’re sure you’re fine?”
“It’s not my blood,” Stiles snaps, wiping down his hands, arms. Fuck, even his face and throat are slick with it and he really, really wants it off. Derek keeps circling them, eyes fixed on Stiles and his body’s still trying to shift back onto four feet, the bones and muscles bulging outwards against his skin and Stiles has no idea why Derek’s freaking out this badly.
You Give Me -
Derek’s mouth quirks. “I can catch a ride home with you, right?”
Stiles arches an eyebrow and Derek rolls his eyes.
“Otherwise,” Derek says with a long suffering sigh, “Boyd will take me or I’ll run. I just figured you were here for a reason.”
“Oh, I am,” Stiles says with a slow smile, ass clenching around the butt plug he worked in earlier. The drive out into the woods was the good kind of agony and he’s half-hard in his jeans.
Let Me -
Derek’s stomach twists, guilt spreading through him like a sickness and he ruthlessly shuts it down and keeps his mouth shut. He wasn’t even talking about sex but the need to apologize anyway makes his chest feel tight. It unmoors something in Derek whenever Stiles tells him outright no even though he knows Stiles isn’t just humoring him when they’re scening. It’s just an emotional reaction he can’t control, can’t unlearn.
I Ask of You -
Stiles sighs, presses into the touch of Derek’s hands and thinks. He’s scared, is the thing. Of something big and hurtful he doesn’t want to put a name on, but he’s got practice in doing scary things. Maybe it’s time to take his chances.
You Are For Me -
He doesn’t need or want to sub often, but he can feel his own desperation lurking at the edges of his awareness, and maybe, just maybe, he’s gone too long without asking Derek to take him under.

Holy smokes this was hot and that's saying something because I typically don't favor bdsm at all.
But wow. Seriously.
I would say that this series is probably one of the best smex I've read between these two guys. I'm not kidding.
But I don't want you to think that this is purely PWP especially based on the blurb. This had some major emotional gravitas as their psyches are delved into. Their relationship is intense, it's definitely codependent, it's like nothing I've seen depicted before. Each have their fears, insecurities, hang ups - and how they handle those issues, especially Stiles, was breathtaking.
Maybe it's because I'm not well versed in bdsm but for once I'm floored. This touched me and I won't soon forget this.

I may need to run and hide once some of you see this review, because I just didn't warm to this story (I'm quite proud of how nicely I said that). I feel really bad though, because everyone else seemed to love it and I feel there was a level of pressure regarding my expected enjoyment. But alas, I feel how I feel. Totally my bad, ladies!
The story itself was nicely written; I loved the writing style. The characters had great depth and there was a shit ton of emotional undertones. All of this made for a read worthy of 4 or 5 stars, but I generally rate stories based on my personal enjoyment, and BDSM themes really don't do it for me, hence my ultimate 2 star rating.
My disinterest in BDSM stories is completely my own hang-up. There are (obviously) readers who will gobble this story up and who will find the sex scenes ridiculously hot, but I'm not one of those people. I sum it up to the fact that, regardless of how many BDSM themed stories I've read over the years, I simply don't understand the BDSM world. Here, I found myself bored (or confused -- because I don't "get it") every time Stiles and Derek did a "scene". Things like orgasm denial and wearing collars just aren't my kink, but hey, each to their own.
Most readers are pretty aware of what they do and don't like in regards to book themes (I know I am), so you should be able to determine whether this is or isn't the Sterek story for you based on the blurbs and the other awesome reviews.

I really enjoyed this. Though I have never actually tried it, I enjoy reading a story that involves BDSM. My only issue with this story is .

No rating, because BDSM isn't my thing and I knew that when I picked this up. But this particularly didn't work for me because to me, Stiles and Derek's relationship is soooo not "traditional" BDSM, I felt they were written completely out of character to be engaging in pre-consented and negotiated scenes. So this just didn't work for me.
I will say that if you do like BDSM and can see Derek and Stiles engaging in scenes that these are well written; and in the first vignette, Derek writes one of the most painful admissions to Stiles on a piece of paper, which supplied for some depth.
Oddly enough, I liked Let's Talk About Sex Series though, if you are looking for more Sterek BDSM.

The first 4 stories were great for me.
I think the last 2, were my issue. I was tired when I read them. They got a little more into the emotional. I think if I wasn't so tired when I read them, I would have loved them. They were pretty sweet.

This was... nice, it's a well written story, but it's that kind of super-structured BDSM that's discussed to death before it even gets a chance to be anything more a vague notion, and that just takes all the passion and heat out of it for me, except for very rare and exceptional cases.
If that's your thing, this is a good one.
One note: Derek's heart-wrenching vulnerability in one of these stories - the only one written from his POV - just about killed me.

Took me a long while to finish this. Which is why it rates only 2 stars.
It has emotions, sexual chemistry off the charts, interesting dynamic but even with all that, it failed to catch my interest. I liked them well enough but couldn't personally invest in them. Quite an elaborate relationship, one I appreciated reading about, how committed they were to each other, the attention and care. But it was a distant view I had of them.
