I won a signed copy in a GOODREADS giveaway -- By Grace Alone (The Death Dealer #2) by Katie Roman (Goodreads Author) -- however this did not influence me as I had already read the series... this is not a good stand-alone... it is part of a teen-read FOUR BOOK SERIES. - Overall, a very good read! Get the whole series and read straight through!

Overall the writing was clear and easy to follow. Having not read the first book in the series I was a bit lost in terms of the story, so a bit more development in the plot would have been helpful. There were also moments that got a bit repetitive in terms of descriptions of characters or scenery.
