Yikes. All I can say is thank God they changed everything for the show. Because the show is amazing. I don't even know what this was.

Surprisingly good. Artwork is very nice and has a lot of details, the writing is pretty solid and I totally loved that reference to PEANUTS. It's not as dark and depressive as Hellblazer series, but it's a very nice comic for regular Vertigo's readers. The problem with this issue, though, is that the whole issue is just an introduction of three characters. Nothing really happens here. Just an explanation of how things work. It also isn't that original. The whole idea of crime solving "monster" isn't new, while the way Gwen (main character) was introduced feels really, really dated and was used for like a million times before. So... yeah... It's totally OK, it's very intriguing, but... it isn't really must read issue.

Totally an iZombie Guy

I love iZombie--way cooler than the syrupy-sweetness of Warm Bodies--and I dig how the graphic novel is different than the TV show. The color graphics are amazing! I really enjoy Gwen (Liv), how she can act normal, then go into full-on zombie mode. Great stuff!

Far better than the TV show, haven't read the whole series of comics yet but looking forward to seeing how it develops. Particularly love how it's not just zombies but has other elements which makes the storyline even more interesting.

Uhmm...
