I read the Hacker series book 1-5 while sick. I wish I had time to write reviews.
Harvard graduate Erica Hathaway’s whirlwind romance with former hacker and billionaire technology investor Blake Landon continues...
There are so many twists and turns in their story, some that resolve quicker, other that span series and some just come back and bite them… but each had a purpose. This series just clicked with me. 6-star shelf.

Suddenly (because things aren't ALREADY bad)...BAM! BAM! BAM! THANK YOU MOTHERF*CKING SOPH-..just kidding, this one was Daniel...
But then when Daniel talks to Erica...
All hope wasn't lost though..*Queue Church Bells*....
And then the end with Sophia... that had me like...
My favorite part in the book was the name of the shots Sophia ordered for Erica's bachelorette party. LOL, that poor vindictive bitch.
So basically Mrs.Wild blew me away in this book. Blake sorta got on my nerves these last few books because of his tendency to be too protective and since I relate a lot with Erica on her need for independence, I was frustrated with him UNTIL the hospital scene where he totally outdid any guy that I ever read about. Erica continues to be tested in her relationship with Blake *cough* SOPHIA, but she has gotten SOOOO strong and I admire her determination to not let anything break her no matter how much she wanted to fall. Now Daniel.. he was heavy on my mind because he was a dude I wanted to hate but his decision at the end redeemed him in my eyes somewhat because I realized he's not a monster. If he were, he wouldn't have been able to recognize all the wrong he did, so that was some heartbreaking closure I think Erica needed.
This book perfectly encompasses the story of two damaged lovers who work through character flaws and past skeletons in order to pave a life together and mending the people around them in the process. I am very pleased with how the book is going and I look forward to the next book, Hard Love.
I recommend this to readers who don't mind reading about two characters bildungroman and to those who enjoy sticking with characters and seeing how they develop throughout the course of medium-paced, semi-emotional reads. OH and to those who don't mind hanky-panky. and I mean HANKY-PANKY. :)

Blake and Erica return in Hard Limit, with more drama and more love. This fantastic series is one of the best I've ever read and I'm honoured to be able to review it.
I loved how this book flowed straight from the last one, how the characters are portrayed and the emotional roller coaster Hard Limit will send you on. I cried like a baby, not once, but twice! This will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and anticipation of what will happen next. Once again, Meredith Wild has written an amazing story of two people very much in love. Blake Landan will forever be my book boyfriend and I'm certainly looking forward to the next installment of this awesome series! watch out EL James, Meredith Wild's books will be in cinemas before you know it!

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD This book blew me away!!!!!!!!! Hard Limit was a roller-coaster ride I DIDN'T want to get off!!!!! It had me laughing at their antics and crying...this book was so full of emotion! Meredith has taken this series to a whole new level.....It was beautifully written and picks up right where she left off!! If you haven't read the Hacker Series, my question would be.....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????? lol I loved Hard Limit and now I can't wait for book 5!

5 I-never- want-the-series-to-end Stars!
I see where all the fuss is coming from. The Hacker series is an amazing series!
Hard limit is book four in the Hacker series.
Blake and Erica continue to work on the relationship, but now we have to deal with Richard, Blake’s ex and Erica still has Daddy issues. Oh my!
It’s getting closer to the wedding date and Erica should be focusing on the wedding, but there’s never a dull moment in the Blake and Erica dynamic. The beginning of Hard Limit starts with a bam and it instantly hooks you in. You will be reading like mad to figure out what is happening.
More of Blake’s past is revealed, yay! As Erica pushes Blake to open up more, Blake pushes back and it only forces Erica to figure out Blake’s past relationships. This includes his ex, Sophia. I love Sophia. She’s a villain I love to hate. She’s nasty, ruthless, cut throat and I love how she throws herself at Blake. It’s crazy wild tension.
Blake just wants Erica to let the past go and focus on the wedding. I love Blake. I love how caring, thoughtful and I LOVE how much he loves Erica. Even through all the hardships, the love is true and burns brightly.
Erica also has to deal with Daniel. Someone is threating Daniel. They want to expose Daniel and revealed that Erica is his daughter. This stresses Daniel and he starts taking it out on Erica. I have mixed and torn feelings towards Daniel (as so does Erica). Sometimes he can be really sweet and sometimes I just want to punch him in the face. Regardless, it’s still yummy drama.
Even with the threat of ex’s, father drama and wedding planning, the love between Blake and Erica still go strong. Yes, there are bumps along the way, but it only makes for a sweet read.
I don’t want this series to end. I love it very very very much.

I started, speechless and breathless – from his intoxicating proximity, his possessive hold on me, and the painful knowledge that our relationship hadn’t been the one thing in peril over the past few months.

I give TEN gold stars to this captivating installment of The Hacker Series! Once again Meredith has stollen my heart.
Hard Limit is a perfect title for this book. It will definitely take you to your limits. You are going to want to put the kids to bed early and I promise it will be four in the morning before you want to put it down.
There are some riveting twist and turns that will leave you breathless. Some of Erica and Blake's problems will come to an end, while new ones arise. Get ready ladies cause Meredith takes us on a ride on the crazy train. Yet, you will never want to get off. It makes me a little depressed that there is only one more story before we have to say goodbye to the characters that we have fallen in love with. Meredith~ you are amazing, and I love your kindness and friendship. And, let's not forget your outstanding writing!!!

Just when I thought the series couldn't get any better...Meredith took me on another crazy rollercoaster ride!! Hard Limit was beautifully written and I was sucked in from the prologue!!! This book was STEAMING HOT and still action packed with events you didn't see coming! I cried both tears of sadness and joy and did not want the story to end! I can not wait to see how Meredith ties it all up in Hard Love!!! She never ceases to amaze me!

Awesome book; love this series! Blake is my new book boyfriend! He is sweet and loving, yet dominant. He's just what Erica needs in her life with her past. Can't wait for the next 2 books!

***Takes A Deep Breath*** I just need a moment to pull together all of my feels on this one.
This was a difficult book to wait for. Usually, by the time you reach book 4 in a series you are not as excited as you were for book 2. In this case because Hard Line (book 3) was so pivotal for Erica and Blake's relationship, it was really, terribly difficult to wait to see what happens next.
As always, Meredith's attention to staying true to the characters and balancing what needs to happen in a story to keep that truth and what the readers want to see was impeccable. So many times I was angry and distraught and just feeling so many things while reading this one but when I took a step back I understood why it was happening that way.
I felt like in the previous book Blake and Erica really had to fight for their relationship to define what it was and wasn't and what it meant and overall beyond the titles and the preconceptions that mostly Erica may have had what means the most to them. In this book the couple still struggles to maintain their footing in those regards but we also see the struggle for Blake to open up and be just a little bit vulnerable for Erica.
Blake is totally used to being closed off not giving an inch and getting away with it. I think in this book he learns the importance of letting himself not only be in control of Erica but to let her be his confidant as well. A major piece that was not complete in their relationship before. No one is perfect and again I like how Meredith did not deviate from Blake's character. He did not all of a sudden become a gushy let me tell you everything uber sensitive and talkative guy. Erica pushed, and pushed, and pushed at times and at others had to take drastic measures to get him to open up... it was worth it in the end. They both were able to recognize the mistakes they were making. Him in not opening up to her, and she in the way that she went about trying to force him to do so at times.
This book had some super happy moments that all of us avid readers of the Hacker series have been waiting for since book number one. It also has some extremely emotional and heart racing/pounding moments that I cannot say I saw coming. Get your box of tissues handy because you are going to need them not only for the joyful tears but for some "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww shit" tears as well. As always, LOVED it, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

"If you're anything like your mother, I'm guessing no." "Are you saying I'm not first lady material?" "No, you're Madam President material."
"You're in my soul, Erica. I couldn't hide from you if I tried. Just..." "What?" "Just be careful while you're in there, okay? You have more control than you think."

Because there are so many characters in this series you must read the first 3 books in order to know what's going on in this book. Blake & Erica are finally turning a corner to their happiness especially with Erica always finding a knack for trouble, (that is why Blake keeps her with a bodyguard). That is until Blake's ex Sofia shows up with a vengeance to let Erica know how dark Blake's past really is, Sophia told Erica that she introduced Blake to the lifestyle and will never know Blake like Sofia has. Because we all know Erica by now, Erica insecurity always get her into trouble, Erica curiosity to always please Blake gets the best of her. Trying to learn more about Blake because of the gift she received from Sophia she shows up at Lapearl, now without her Dom Erica runs into the owner Remy. Erica realize (a little too late) she has enter into a world she knows nothing about and now Blake has to race to get her before she devoured by other Dom's, especially Remy.
Erica gets and surprise visit offering to buy her business and because she wants to do everything herself without Blake's help, she doesn't read the small print. Erica loses everything she build from the ground up to a third party buyout. The last people she ever thought would be back in her world, has bought her company. Spinning and depressed from the lost of her business Erica decides to meet the reporter Marie is involved with about her father Daniel to find out exactly what he has on Daniel. As usual Erica finds herself in danger and is fighting for her life. Will Erica survive? Will Blake & Erica get their HEA? So many moving parts in this book it keeps you on the edgy of your seat wondering what the heck will Erica do to get herself in trouble/danger this time.

Wow! I definitely want to congratulate Meredith Wild on another stunning addition to the Hacker Series.
Hard Limit is such an apt title for this book. I was amazed by the twists and turns. I wasn't prepared for what happens to the characters and it is so refreshing to be gobsmacked by the action taking place-- to not be able to figure out what happens. I am so excited to purchase the book December 9 for my Nook. I finished reading Hard Limit feeling extremely satisfied.

Meredith Wild continues to blow me away more and more with each book she writes. The Hacker Series has firmly cemented itself as one of my favorite series, and it’s because of the level of emotion, feeling, and authenticity Meredith Wild creates and conveys through all of her thoughtfully crafted words.
There were points in this book that made my heart melt, others that almost shattered it. There were moments that literally took my breath away, while some stopped my heart then got my pulse racing again in the same instant, and plenty that brought a certain pink hue to my face.
I felt it all. I experienced it all. I loved it all immensely.
Hard Limit (Hacker Series #4) is the next chapter in Blake and Erica’s love story together, and it is extraordinary, to say the least. This chapter between them just felt so right, and I can’t stress enough how much I loved reading it. This chapter and next step in their relationship felt extremely natural, and just made sense for them as a couple. Hard Limit is their next step in fighting for the ending they both want and so truly deserve.
I couldn’t get enough of it, and it left me with one helluva book hangover because I was that emotionally invested within the story and its unforgettably dynamic characters.

You’ll get him, you’ll understand him and his motives, and you’ll just love that.

So in this installment, we are moving forward towards Blake and Erica getting married. They have worked through many of their issues and they have both accepted each other. Erica is kind of obsessed with learning about this "club" that Blake used to belong to. After Sophia sends Erica a used ball gag with a message and the address to La Perle (club), she takes it in her own hands to go visit this club. Thank God she decided to text Blake and let him know she headed over there (he was furious) because things could have gone badly for Erica. He knows that he has to delve into his past and tell her about who he used to be. He wasn't really like men in other BDSM books I read. He was never into public sex or "performing" for an audience. He did go there, but used the private rooms. He didn't go into details about what he did because he told Erica that none of that matters because he has her and he loves her and that isn't who he is anymore. He feels like their sex life is find with the little bit of BDSM he brings to the picture and how Erica acts as his submissive in the bedroom. I was glad that Erica didn't make a big deal about his past because it was his PAST and he even tells her the only thoughts he had about the club were what new things he could try with Erica, but never go to back there. He was so upset that she went there without him. He didn't want any other Doms setting their sights on her and he wasn't interested in EVER bringing her there. He is very possessive of her, which I love.
I was glad to see that James has made amends with Blake and they were on friendly terms. I was glad to see that Allie and Heath are working towards their own HEA. I would love to know how their conversation went in regards to Sophia. I was also glad that (even though Sophia was ALREADY on Blake's shift list) that he absolutely wanted nothing to do with her after the shit she pulled in this book. He hated being so helpless in the situation too because he only wants Erica to be happy. I still don't know how to feel about Erica's real dad. To be honest, I don't like Elliott or her real dad AT ALL. I think they are both poor excuses for dads.
And even though I wasn't glad to see Erica hurt, I was glad with how all that played out. How tender, loving and caring Blake was in regards to Erica and especially the potentially devastating news that they were given. He is just the perfect guy, seriously.

Am terminat cartea încă de azi noapte, dar nu m-am simțit în stare sa-i scriu o recenzie până acum și nu din cauză că nu am știut ce să scriu, ci pentru că n-am avut tragere de inimă... Mi se întâmplă uneori cu cărțile pe care le citesc, doar pt că nu renunț niciodată la nicio carte începută (trebuie să îmi revizuiesc această regulă, pentru că nu mai tine, zici că sunt mama autorilor răniți, citesc toate tampeniile de la o vreme).
Să o luăm cu ceea ce mă tot irită de 4 vol și mă abtin să nu dezvolt ideea... că na, m-am gândit că o fi de la traducere... dar deja e flagrant.
Să vă explic... Blake este acelasi Blake, un macho de 1,80 m înălțime, sexy si dominator, cu ochii verzi (vezi vol 1)... ba nu stai, verzi-căprui(vezi vol 2)... pardon, am vrut să spun căprui (vezi vol 3)...A, bai, ce proastă sunt... verzi am vrut să zic (vezi vol 4)... Autoarea asta nu se poate hotărî ce culoare au ochii personajului ei principal. Poate este un lucru neimportant, dar pe mine mă deranjează ca cititor să descopăr că tu, scriitorule n-ai acordat atentie acestor detalii deloc. Adica, eu îmi pierd timpul să te citesc, dar tu nu esti in stare să tii cont de niste chestii minore (care nu influenteaza povestea, adevarat), dar îți arată valoarea, dacă mă întrebi. Aia pe care nu o ai.
De fapt, ce zic eu de aspect... autoarea nu e încă hotărâtă nici ce fel de caracter are Erica. Zici ca in fiecare capitol este vorba despre alt personaj. ;)) E la fel de proastă, dacă mă întrebați, pe cat de prost e scris si volumul ăsta, de altfel.
Relația celor doi atinge culmi noi... exploram împreună aceeasi gelozie a Ericai pe Sophia, fosta lui Blake (o drogata, printre altele) și ce să vezi, e deajuns să-i arunce aia un os și ea să-l prindă. Astfel, ajunge într-un club de sadomaso (unde chipurile voia sa-l cunoască mai bine pe adevăratul Blake) că doar Sophia este un om de încredere... cât de imbecilă să fii? Apoi, prostia ei culminează cu protectia asta ciudată pe care simte nevoia să i-o ofere tatălui ei, care n-a dorit-o și n-a știut de existența sa până acum, care a santajat-o și a lovit-o, că vezi domne... e tata. Dar stai, că tot dintr-o prostie ajunge să fie împușcata, că na... e fata lu' tasu'. Dacă mai pun la socoteală ca-si vinde afacerea, (sau să zic că e fraierita), pt că vrea ea să-i demonstreze lui Blake cât de deșteaptă e și că se descurcă fără el, iese o salată. Pentru că această serie este o salată. Am făcut eu glume la primul vol că e telenovelă, dar nu e... e mai rău. Avem parte si de mult asteptata nuntă, dar totul este sec.
Scriitura își urmează ritmul, nimic nu se schimbă, replicile sunt la fel de fade și fără esență, personajele sunt la fel de șterse și fără identitate, iar povestea este fără sare și piper.
Cartea se citeste cât ai clipi, pentru că e scrisă în curtea școlii, pe genunchi, la ora de practică. Nu te solicită deloc.
Nu mi-a plăcut și sinceră să fiu m-am plictisit de seria asta până peste urechi. Mai am un vol și scap. Doamne ajuta! 😂😂😂

OUTSTANDING! Meredith has left me speechless. There were things I didn't see coming at all. I was in tears happy and sad tears though. It was amazing just like the last three books this one also grips you but this time I was not yelling at Erica like I was with the last two. I can't wait to read the final chapter of Erica and Blake even though it will be a sad day when their story comes to an end. I've grown to love these two characters very much I feel every emotion they feel. I was honored to be gifted this book for my honest review.

You know the roller coaster rides we all so eloquently say we are on when we read certain books? Well this one took me on one and spun me in every which way possible. It's a thrill of a ride and one that I know I will take again.
This power couple are two of the most amazing characters that I have read to date. And Meredith Wild has left me breathless in the most astonishing way. She truly has outdone herself with this installment of this series. The secondary characters are back and you will meet a few new ones as well.
Take a bow Meredith and pat your own self on the back my friend because you DEFINATELY deserve it.

Wow!
Just when you think, "What can she do to change this or fix that?" Meredith goes and blows it out of the park! Beautifully written and riveting, there is nothing bad I can think of for this book, never mind the series. Seeing some loose ends tie up, finding more questions, and feeling somber to know the series will end after the next book, I completely devoured the book! I can't think of anything else without gushes about certain things, stressing about other, and giving out spoilers. If you've enjoyed the series so far, you absolutely WILL NOT be disappointed!

I fell in love with this couple hard in the previous installments and was eager for this new entry in their passionate love affair. Blake and Ericka are engaged and you'd think things should be calming down for them. But in a place where you can't trust those that are close to you and also those that seem to be harmless, well no calm in site.
The whole cast of characters show their faces at at least one point in the book and it was filled with romance and more.
Speaking of romance.
This was one sexy read for sure. Blake is the ultimate dominant lover and Ericka knows how to push is buttons just enough to get that strong hand to want to pull her in. His way with words and his no fear attitude just makes him one sexy hero. The way Blake always let's Ericka know how he's feeling is very endearing. He's not afraid to tell her loves her and he shows her every single day they are together. Ericka is hot headed and sometimes she just goes off with out thinking and I wanted to shake her a time or two. It's just the way this couple is ..they work even when you think they are going to com-bust. But truly the only fear of any explosions in this book is in the bedroom.
Passion , intrigue and danger. That is what Ericka and Blake encounter but there were some shocks and twists I never saw coming. I was holding on to my Kindle with a white knuckle grip. Meredith Wild is one author that pulls me in on the first page and keeps me enthralled till the last. I find this is one series I can't get enough of. I eagerly await the conclusion and hope this couple get the HEA they deserve.

I fell in love with this couple hard in the previous installments and was eager for this new entry in their passionate love affair. Blake and Ericka are engaged and you'd think things should be calming down for them. But in a place where you can't trust those that are close to you and also those that seem to be harmless, well no calm in site.
The whole cast of characters show their faces at at least one point in the book and it was filled with romance and more.
Speaking of romance.
This was one sexy read for sure. Blake is the ultimate dominant lover and Ericka knows how to push is buttons just enough to get that strong hand to want to pull her in. His way with words and his no fear attitude just makes him one sexy hero. The way Blake always let's Ericka know how he's feeling is very endearing. He's not afraid to tell her loves her and he shows her every single day they are together. Ericka is hot headed and sometimes she just goes off with out thinking and I wanted to shake her a time or two. It's just the way this couple is ..they work even when you think they are going to com-bust. But truly the only fear of any explosions in this book is in the bedroom.
Passion , intrigue and danger. That is what Ericka and Blake encounter but there were some shocks and twists I never saw coming. I was holding on to my Kindle with a white knuckle grip. Für mich ist die Hard-Reihe ein ziemliches Auf und Ab.
Generell gefällt mir die Geschichte echt gut. Das Setting mit der Geschäftswelt und zwei erfolgreichen Unternehmern als Paar ist für mich mal was anderes und dadurch sehr interessant.
Auch in diesem Band kommt es wieder zu einigen Überraschungen, Wendungen und spannenden Momenten. Man erfährt nun auch einiges mehr aus der Vergangenheit der beiden, vor allem von Blake.
Die Beziehung von Erica und Blake ist wirklich intensiv und hat wirklich das Potential den Leser mitzureißen. Allerdings führen sie eine Art von Beziehung mit der ich mich nicht so wirklich anfreunden kann. Für mich gehören einfach keine Hierachien in eine Beziehung. So lange es in gegenseitigem Einvernehmen passiert, soll jeder die Art von Beziehung führen, die er für richtig hält. Hier hindert es mich aber wenig daran so richtig mit den beiden mitzufiebern und auch emotional kann es mich nicht ganz erreichen.
Das Buch war für mich insgesamt unterhaltsam und man fliegt nur so durch die Seiten. Nun bin schon sehr gespannt wie die Geschichte der beiden enden wird.

Ughhhh I don't know. I am really lukewarm on this book. The writing is superb, the storyline is good, the erotica is unique. My issue with this series since book 3 has been Blake Landon. I just have a hard time seeing him as the romantic "hero" or even seeing him as a good guy. In many parts of the book, I did think he was sweet...especially after the one large event occurred. But in a lot of the erotic parts, I just really couldn't get into it. The man is so damn pushy and won't take NO for an answer. During the one event, she kept telling him that she didn't want to do it...yet he kept telling her to trust him, that he wanted it, and that she would enjoy it. In this day and age, no means no and a guy pushing beyond someone's limitations is just not sexy. It blows my mind that girls actually swoon over him. If my husband tried pushing me like that, I wouldn't stick around for that. It's just my thoughts though. Maybe if he acts like less of an asshole in the next book, I can actually like this series.

Meredith has done it again! Perfection at its finest.
I have been in love with Erica & Blake since the very first story. Now I love them even more. They have had their share of ups and downs. Between Erica starting her own business, Blake’s Hacker past showing up again, Erica’s father being an ass most of the time, to both Erica and Blake just being too stubborn and hard headed. But the life and love they have made from their journey is amazing. And Hard Limit is no exception. It pulled me in from the moment I started until the very last page and I am still craving more Blake & Erica.

Was für ein Sprung. Der vorherige Teil hat 2 Sterne von mir bekommen und dieser hier direkt 4 😂 Damit ist Teil 4 der für mich beste Teil der Reihe bislang. Es war spannend, prickelnd und vorallem abwechslungsreich. Mir gingen die alle diesmal gar nicht so auf den Sack 🙊😄

This book started out a little differently, beginning with a prologue that was written from Blake's POV. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this. I loved reading part of the story from Blake's perspective, and even though it was a small part, I was left feeling excited about what I was reading. I was keen to know more.
In this penultimate part of the series, Erica and Blake were once again faced with no end of problems. I have come to realise that this is the norm for their life together and I doubt that they will ever be free from obstacles. With the majority of the trouble being brought on by either Erica's past or the bad decisions that she has constantly made, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Blake and I wondered why he put up with her. He must have truly loved her because she drove me crazy!!
As well as the continuing drama from Erica, I also discovered a little more about Blake's not-so-perfect past. This lead to some extremely steamy scenes between Erica and Blake as the couple explored even more of their sexual fantasies together. I suppose the passion that the pair shared was one of the few good things that they had going on between them. When it was just Erica and Blake, everything was perfect. Maybe they just needed to move to a deserted island somewhere.

My love for him now was a tattoo written on my heart, for all of time.After the chaos that has played out so far, it was a relieve to end this part of the story in the way that it did. The last few chapters were heavenly compared to what I had previously read and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it was a prelude to a happy ever after in the final book. I am not holding out much hope, though. Lol.
