Cam Farrell, president of the Moroad Motorcycle Club, struggles to adjust to living on the outside after spending the last eighteen months in prison. Pressured to confess to his part in the crime of bringing his son into the club, he must make drastic changes to stay ahead of the law and prove to Christina he will never leave her again. The noose tightens as he faces the possibility of losing everything he's worked for within the Moroad MC. Can he save his club, his woman, his son, and his life?

Some people in Federal call Christina insane for loving a criminal, but Cam's presence has always provided her with an inner strength she's found nowhere else. Christina's worries increase when Cam arrives home more hardened, more violent, and more determined to continue the life of crime that has dictated his life. Caught between her fear of losing him and forcing Cam to fulfill his promises, Christina must face the truth. Love has no boundaries and some things are better off staying buried.

Just like with the first book, "For Life" has it all. Debra Kayn had me feeling so many things all at once, anger, rage and heartache! Oooh my god, the woman doesn't disappointed. I'm super stoked knowing there's another book to be released! Now onto the review

What can I say Cam is a man of many talents!
 photo strength and Courage 3.jpg
Head games, lies, deceit, these are just a few of his greatest assets and boy does he put them to good use. Whatever he wants, he takes.
 photo Courage and Strength 3.jpg
I'm firmly convinced he's a psychopath. The bad ass biker doesn't feel an ounce of remorse, regret for the things he does and continues to do. How he's able to love, in short is a miracle. His actions alone had me railing and yes if I ever saw the bastard, I'd gladly take a baseball bat to him, knowing full well he'd pull out his nines.
The real tragedy in all of this is Christina and Jeremy. Two beautiful people morphing into new creations. Stockholm syndrome is more than an underlying presence in their relationship. As a reader how can I take anything at face value when love is proclaimed. Every emotion Christina feels has been forced.
 photo Making The Cut 2.jpg
She's not capable of thinking logical, how could she when there's Cam's threats. Run and he'll kill her, if Jeremy leaves then he's leaving the MC and that's an ultimate betrayal. As prez, he has to follow the bylaws so he'll be forced to shoot the kid he considers son. It doesn't matter Christina's former life was a children service worker, and had a life. Her decisions and choices once upon a time were her own, now she's nothing more than a puppet on Cam's strings.

So you wonder if this is a good read, my response is five stars baby! Enjoy! For the record I was team Merk, he was more deserving then Cam!

When I learned that Cam and Christina’s story would cover three books, I really wasn’t a happy camper. I absolutely loved book 1, Wrapped Around Him, and was satisfied with the happy for now ending. I had my doubts about book 2 and will warn you now, it is a cliff hanger. With all of that said, I still rate book 2 a big 5 stars. This is coming from a reader who absolutely hates cliff hangers. What can I say? I am obsessed with both Cam and Christina’s obsession with each other. Cam is definitely still an anti-hero and Christina still amazes me with her depth of love and dependence on Cam. But then, I can also see Cam’s deep love for Christina. He’s obsessive, OTT controlling and I often want to slap him but I think I understand what has made Cam the way he is with Christina. To be honest, I believe I could read six more books about the two of them. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. So many feelings swirled around in my head about these characters. Why was Christina so naïve she believed that Merk (the VP) was only acting as a “friend” during Cam’s incarceration when it was evident he was falling for her? Then I thought about Christina’s isolation and lack of social interaction with anyone until Cam kidnapped her and brought her to the club. I had problems with the way Cam set up Merk for a fall but then I told myself, something is going to come up and justify Cam’s actions. I sure hope so. What is Cam’s secret and how will it affect his and Christina’s relationship by the end of the final book coming out soon? What’s going to happen to Jeremy? Will he hate Cam and Christina?
I hope that you can see from my musings that I am totally caught up in this story and really don’t want it to end. Cam and Christina have become my Issac and Lily (Signal Bend series), another couple I obsessed over for a long time. The plot and overall feeling of this biker/MC book is so different and unique to me. I can’t wait to read book 3 and the subsequent books, which the author says will definitely be standalones about a different couple each time. Yes, I’m giving a pass on the cliff hanger in book 2 because it was totally worth it to me to read more about Cam and Christina and the author has promised that book 3 will be released soon. Whether you wait to read all 3 books after the last one is released or start now, I highly recommend this series if you want a hot biker/MC romance that will drag you in, make your heart hurt and keep you cheering for the characters, this is the one. Definitely going in my re-read folder.

I would recommend that you read all of the books in order to get the most of the series.

"She loved him."
"He possessed her."
"She needed him"
"He relied on her."
I thought I was conflicted from Wrapped Around Her. For Life absolutely screwed with my head. I was put through the emotional ringer with this book. While readers are going to love the emotions, they are going to feel conflicted not only with Cam, but even more with Christina. It will take a very open mind to understand where her mind is and why she loves Cam. You are going to want her to call Cam out on his shit or stand up to him, but that is not their dynamic! Cam, again, is take no shit, in your face, and makes no apologies. Is it too much? Is Cam redeemable? These are all questions that you will ask yourself and more. You will have to dig deeper and not just read this book, but feel it. Throw out all your preconceived thoughts and feel this book. You will need to read this book with a blank canvas - feel it then decide how you can wrap your mind about Cam & Christina. The complexity of these characters are the best I've ever read. The balance between right and wrong, love and hate, death and love are all hanging in the balance never knowing where you are going to end up. Not only do you have to deal with your feelings on Cam & Christina, you have the secondary set of characters that you learn more about! Debra Kayn was right on the money when she said every move Cam made was part of a bigger puzzle. Even when you can't stand it, Cam will make the move regardless of anyone's feelings. He makes the hard decisions which you may or may not understand. He doesn't ask you to understand, in fact, he could care less. This is what you have to deal with in this book. When you think it's going left - it flips a u-turn and leaves you reeling.
My heart literally hurt from beginning to end. With the last book I said it was a game changer for the MC genre, this book topped that and so much more. The mindfuck that Debra Kayn gives you has not been done before and you will never know how much you loved it until the end. I am a huge Debra Kayn fan, as everyone knows, but I call it like it is, and if this book didn't deliver I would say that, but this is a must read for every book lover. Well done, Debra, can't wait to read more from you!
After you read this book, I would love to hear how do you feel now about morals, ethics, and Cam.

I loved book one and gave it five stars but I really want to give this more as I loved it. As soon as this book hit my kindle I dived right in.

This is the continuation of Cam and Christina's story. Cams a sexy hot alpha biker. His lack of trust doesn't help with the relationship with Christina. There is so much going on in this book. It's certainly a one sitting kinda story.

Fantastic biker book with lots of twists and turns. 1-click this book for a brilliantly ant story they will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. Oh and what an ending. Really hope book three is out soon. Loved it.

First of all, I'm not a fan of series with the same H/h - and to be honest, I didn't realize this series was one of those when I read the first book. While I enjoyed this second book alot, I was very disappointed that the story did not end with this second book, and that there will be a continued third book out. So I have to take away a star for this, because now it just feels like the story is getting a little dragged out. Yeah, I'll probably read the third book, hoping that it will wrap everything up - and if you don't mind these types of things, by all means give this series a go because I think you will like it. I just wish I would have known this all before going in.

Jeremy: Im a sucker for a foster care child-I want him to suceed
Merik: I really really like him... or love.... hes got balls....
Christina: needs to figure out if freedom is in Cams arms or elsewhere

I really liked this one and cant wait for third instalment.

I don't like how Cam manipulates Christina - or Jeremy either. He's an A-hole. I didn't like how he was with Merk- and what he does in regards to Merk.
I also felt that this book was wasted words, and repetitive with info being said over and over in different ways- and info we know from book one. I don't know- it just annoyed me.

*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from Stephanie's Book Reports in exchange for an honest review.

5 stars for "For Life" by Debra Kayn!! This is the second book in the Moroad Motorcycle Club series. It picks up where the first book, Wrapped Around Him, ends, so you need to read it first in order to understand the story.

Cam Farell is the president of the Moroad Motorcycle Club, and he is the ultimate bad boy. He is a hot and sexy alpha who takes what he wants with no questions asked. I fell in love with him instantly because what girl doesn't love a bad boy? When this book begins. Cam has just been released from prison after serving eighteen months. He is struggling to adapt to the changes that have occurred on the outside while he has been away. His main goal is to prove to his woman, Christina, that he is home to stay while eliminating the threats against his MC.

Christina is a woman who has her fair share of insecurities. Cam is the one person who makes her feel safe and protected. She has been a mess the past eighteen months, so she is beyond excited for his release. However, Cam comes home more hardened and even more determined to protect what is his at all costs. While in prison, Cam made a promise to Christina to confess a crime that he committed against someone she loves, and she is determined to make him fulfill that promise. However, she soon learns that things aren't always black and white, and some secrets are better off left unspoken.

I have mad love for this series! The story line is exciting, the characters are well developed, and the sex scenes are down right scorching! Debra Kayn is one of the best authors that I have ever had the pleasure of reading! As she has stated before, she writes about real men and the women who love them. If you haven't read her books, you seriously don't know what you are missing! Hats off to Debra for creating another great read!!

Cam.......such a difficult man to love and yet I do

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
updated 3.30.15
Cam......after 18 months in prison he is being released. We will watch him struggle to adjust back into his role as the club president. His relationship with Christina is strong yet weak. We will see their struggles.
Christina loves this man. But doesn't always agree with him. Can their love survive?
I found that Cam is playing a big game of chess. Each move he makes - he is always thinking several plays ahead. You are either going to love him or hate him at the end of this one.
I personally have mad love for Cam. Even through all the heartache and tears. All the Crazy sh*t he does. He loves hard! And stops at nothing to protect his own.
"Dear Christina, I love you. Prisoner # 18794"
I will write a full on review once the book goes live...... Trust me though. Cam..... yeah.... he's going to get to you. You are going to walk away thinking about this one for a few days.
Bravo Debra on all the twists and turns and roller coaster of a ride you have taken us on with this one.
Barely 2 stars.
I gave this book 2 stars only because of the fact that I read more awful books. However, this book was terribly redundant. I can't describe how bored I was reading over and over how Christina felt bad or how Cam made her feel good. She is everything I hate in a protagonist: Clingy, weak, stupid, rash and an overall doormat. The hero is the ultimate asshole. If you want me to describe the sort of man that I would die before I date it would be Cam. So you can now understand my struggle to finish this book.
Not going to put my self in that torture again. This series ends for me here.
Enjoyed book one, but not liking book two at all which is a shame. Cam has turned into a right asshole, and Christina might as well be his doormat. Enough said, time to find something else to read.
OMG! This book had alternated between liking the story and the characters and then not at all.
This is the second book of the Morad series still focused on Cam and Christina and it's my second book where I had issues with the morality and the moral compass of the male character as well as with the way the female character accepted the situation.
Having said all that about the book, in twisted way I loved it! Debra Kayn didn't shy away from the reality of the criminal life, convicts and ruthless men. She is my first author who created a life like story taking away the MC myth of a sweet life with a biker.
After 18 month in jail Cam and Christina are reunited and they both have a hard time adjusting and finding their way to each other.
There were times when I wanted to scream my frustration out with Cam but somehow I managed to understand a little this troubled man and his ways. I wish I had more insight in his past life but hey, there's still book 3.
Christina still had her insecurities that are making it easy for Cam to dominate her. People talk about the Stockholm syndrome but I see it as a choice she made in regards to Cam. She had 18 months to come to her senses and leave Idaho (all Morad were convicts so they were unable to live the state to find her) and life with Cam.
I think from all the story my biggest issue was with Merik. I actually liked him as a character. He had the sweet side that Cam didn't have nor show and for a criminal he had a tender heart for Christina. I actually didn't like the way Debra Kayn dealt with him through Cam and it was hard to read but I guess this is what makes the story interesting. I am hoping he gets out of the messy situation (I wonder how) and gets his story.
Jeremy is anther character that had me alternate between love and hate towards Cam and I hope he finds a way to come back but keep his innocence.
I am looking forward to the conclusion with the story in the 3rd book.
Wrapped Around Him was the first book in the Moroad MC series. As For Life is book #2 in this series and follows on from book #1, this review may contain spoilers. I highly recommend reading book #1 first.
Book #1 sees Cam and Christina being ripped apart. Will she still be waiting for him when his bikes eats the 8 hr journey to get back to her? Can he keep the promise he made her?
Cam's deep seated mistrust has always been ingrained in him but it's worse than ever. He doesn't trust anyone! Is someone trying to take his place? Take his woman? Can he even trust his MC brothers? Or is he just paranoid?
What about Christina? How can she cope when she's addicted to - crazy about - someone that she knows is not good for her?
I found this book slightly slower than the first. To begin with I was frustrated that it seemed to have lost it's fast pace but it all falls into place as you delve further into the story.
Compared to the first (for me at least), book #2 was much more psychological. There's so much about how Cam is coping (or not coping) and how Christina learns to live as a Moroad woman. It's a tough life and tragedy is always just around the corner.
The story ends on quite a sudden, dramatic note and I look forward to book #3, His Crime, which will complete Cam and Christina's story.
An emotional tale that will have you questioning everything you thought you knew about love.
Cam Ferrell is home after spending 18 months in prison. He will do anything to keep his club under control and his woman by his side. He will not accept any of his club members disobeying Moroad MC rules, not his VP or the boy he calls his son.
No matter what happened or what direction the future took them, he would always own her, because more than his determination to keep her, she’ld never survive without him. She needed him, more than he needed her.
Christina is always kept in the dark about the club’s business and Cam hasn’t changed since he got out of prison. In some ways, he has gotten even more secretive. Will he ever change his ways for her?
With a rival gang threatening his freedom and the gun chain that supports the club, Cam will go as far as he has to in order to keep his people safe.
I’m still confused whether I like Cam or not. He shows his dedication to Christina, but he doesn’t seem to know how to show how much he cares for her except through sex. I enjoyed all the twists and turns in this book and will be anxiously waiting for the next book to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading Wrapped Around Him prior to reading For Life.
Again with book 2 Debra Kayn no doubt loves to has you riding a rollercoaster of emotions with this book.
Cam is be released after 18 months in jail. He took blame for his son and was charged with unlawful possession of firearm. After returning he really has a hard time adjusting to the outside. Cam is hot, alpha, jealous of anyone that lays eyes on his woman. His jealous has you on the edge of your seat with all the links he will go to to keep her his.
Would totally recommend this series to anyone that loves a good MC book! I can't wait for the last book in the series to find out how everything ends.
This book is a good read; however the main character is so Weak, submissive and obsessed. I wish I had known this before I read the book so I could have known what I was in for because I do not like my heroines this way. She defeated at all times to the male and his way of thinking was always right. It kind of drove me crazy. For the last book I hope she's stronger and can hold her own because what's the point of being the heroine when your thoughts and actions are all based off of another.
This book annoyed the hell out of me. I thought the first was well written, full of detail and and very thorough. But this one... Cam was just too damn much! He was so manipulative. Yes, we saw that in book one. But his manipulation and justification for how he treated Christina and Jeremy was off the charts. I mean what an asshole! There was a line about her not needing friends, only him. And just a lot of shit like that that drove me crazy! I felt myself saying out loud “oh come ON!” and “really?!” Ugh!
Also, it was so repetitive! Just a lot of the same thing written over and over again!
A lot of info from the first book. We already know and understand how Christina’s parents died and her feelings and the effect that tragedy had on her. We already know he would kill her if she left him, etc...Just a lot of the same internal thoughts from both main characters.
And can we please get this girl a new or newish, safe and reliable vehicle to drive?! How many times does she have to break down on the side of the damn road and leave herself open and vulnerable? On the one hand I believe it’s apart of his controlling and manipulative nature to only provide her with a truck that might or might not get her into town. But not any further than that. You know, just Incase she wakes up one day with the crazy idea of leaving his ass! Ugh, eye roll... But on the other hand, for someone who is so concerned with her safety, you would think he would get something more reliable for her to get around in.
I loved the first book and thought it warranted a continuation for sure. But I found myself being over the two of them and wanting to move on to the other characters stories.
Merk, he’s my man. And quite frankly treated her better than Cam. I’m ready for his story and hope he finds love outside of Christina and Cam’s destructive idea of it all. And Christina, for all her declaration of love for her man Cam, I felt the sexual tension was not one sided between her and Merk. She claimed to be totally clueless as to his feelings for her but no, she was aware and yet brought him up at every opportunity and the only member of the MC she seemed to care about.
This book also found Cam constantly plotting to take out Merk at any opportunity and ultimately setting him up for murder. I was disgusted. It was a weak move and showed how insecure he is. Not just how obsessed he is with Christina, but his insecurity in their relationship. I mean, is he going to take out anyone going forward who might befriend her? And is she going to keep looking the other way while her man murders at will??
Who the hell knows, but I’m invested in this series and I’m going on to the next. Fingers crossed that book 3 concludes this couple cause I can’t wait to read Merck’s story in book 4, Jacko’s story in book 5 and Jeremy’s story in book 6 which concludes the series.
This series is so different from the usual mc books it's hard to review.
I did get a bit bored near the end but have to read book 3 so I can get to mark n Jeremy's books. I dont think cam n christine needed 3 books tbh.
But I'm loving this alternative view of biker life. Its fascinating.
Though I'm not sure I dont like the no loyalty n not trusting your brothers! That's something I always loved in other mc books.
We'll see what book 3 brings
I tried, I really did but the more I read the more I just couldn't stand the main character Cam. He lies and manipulates Christina so much just to keep her in his life.
He doesn't care what he has to do to keep her by his side. Even lies to his MC brothers if it will benefit him.
Christina wasn't much better. She is so desperate to keep Cam she will disregard everything he does. There is not a whole lot going on within the MC it is mostly, IMO, Cam just being an asshole.
I can't stand anyone in this book. The heroine is weak and a bit annoying. The hero is awful and has no redeemable qualities. I tried getting through the last 15% then realised I had no reason to keep going. The story is slow and repetitive with this one and I'm not rooting for the couple at all. I think this is where I'll stop with this series.
Cam!
This was an excellent continuation to the introduction of Cam and Christina. They are such a dynamic couple together. I liked the story for the most part but Christina's whiny ways did make me skip over some parts. Either she wants to leave or is in a constant state of flux about Cam's commitment to her. Still a good read!
I can’t even express how excited I was when I saw this book was ready for release. I ABSOLUTLY LOVED the first book, and Debra Kayn has not disappointed me with this one!
Chapter one of this book is the last chapter from book one. I think that is great because often times, by the time the next book in a series is released, I’ve forgotten bits from the first story. (What can I say I read at least 5 books a week.) So this was a good chance to become reacquainted with the story. Cam is having a hard time now that he is out of jail. He doesn’t understand the relationship that has formed between Merk and Christina and Christina doesn’t understand why Cam is so upset, they are just friends (um hum). Anyway this causes a lot of tension between Cam and Merk and Cam and Christina, plus it’s hard for Christina to trust Cam again after having left her for a year and a half. Needless to say there is drama.
Jeromy has grown and matured while Cam was away, which makes Cam proud. Christina wants him to stick to his promise to tell Jeromy the truth, Cam cares for Christina and wants to make her happy, but he doesn’t think that is a good idea. He takes some steps to alter the outcome of this situation; one can only hope it turns out the way he wants.
“Don’t ever leave me or you’ll end up dead.”
I’m not sure what to say other than I LOVE THIS BOOK, great plot and wonderful writing. I won’t say I agree with everything that happens, but that’s ok. When I can’t put a book down regardless if I agree with the direction the author takes the characters, I know it’s a well written story. Cam is a complex man. He cares deeply for Christina and would do anything to make her happy, but on the other hand he is a cold hearted criminal, with plans to get what he wants no matter how he has to go about it. How can she justify both parts of Cam and accept him for who he is and love him regardless? Did I mention that I LOVE this book? I am sad to say that there is only one more book for Cam and Christina, His Crime. Thankfully this book has already been written, so unless this author is a sadist, I shouldn’t be left hanging too long. She mentions at the end of the book that these are not cliff hangers. Miss Kayn I HIGHLY disagree!! You have me on the edge of my seat wanting to know the fate of the characters. I give this book 5 stars with 3.5 hands down the pants. MMMMM can’t help but love Cam Farrell.
