Old, interesting book that I gave up on reading in its entirety. It's a reference book, really, so I'm not sure that it matters so much when I drop or pick it up to glance through the pages and learn something new.
Some great and interesting things in this book, it is interesting to know where words originate and how their meanings came to be, also sad to see how some words have been changed to mean something different in modern society then they were originally intended. The quizzes in the book helped prompt learning and retention of words. A great book to increase your writing and reading ability, or if you are just curious about how words came to be put together.
