Thank you Paul for giving me the arc of Black Cloud the eighth book in the Ryan Jacob series since this isn’t out until July 1st I was luckily enough to read it and finalise everything today so I’m giving my full rounded review of the novel
Ryan Jacob is back and this time things are tougher than ever and let’s say it’s emotional for him to ever since fatal error and the other books which stated his mum died in this one that pain hit home for Jacob that even Sarrell his bully reminded him of that but James continues to trouble the kid like he usually does and everything but this time Lloyd was the only Cadet around Ryan this time round because all the other Cadets were at home for the summer so Devonmmor was mostly quiet and all!
Orton always knows how to write a fast paced YA thriller that makes you so intrigued that you can’t put it down I tend to read these books in bed to call them my “bed books” because I tend to finish it in one sitting due to it’s not super long chapters it’s easily to fly through these books without any kind of boredom of wanting to stop reading through
