It was such an emotional, tense and stressful read. Adam was trying to overcome the death of his homophobic father and let the past be. Unfortunately for Adam his father had other plans...

This story was so emotional and hard to read at times, especially being in Adam's father's head. His whole thought process involves 'doing as the lord tells him' which is unfortunately how some people think, they think that the bible makes their choices the only correct ones.

I felt so bad for Adam, he had no idea what was happening to him the whole time, nothing seemed to add up. His memories weren't there anymore, chunks of time were missing, and bodies piled up around him. Poor Mike too, he didn't deserve that, I guess neither of them did.

I enjoyed the ending, it wasn't what I expected to happen, but it was probably for the best...

Overall it was a great read, heavy, emotional and somehow almost realistic.

I enjoyed this! Well, maybe "enjoyed" is the wrong word for a book about a guy possessed by his murderous, homophobic father. It was engaging and never boring, and there are some lighthearted spots between the horrors. The final twist made my heart sink in empathy for the characters. (You'll know it when you get to it.)
