This is how you write complicated relationships.
What stood out to me most was how believable everyone felt. Kieran wasn't your typical playboy who treated women terribly. He was charming, attentive, and comfortable staying in relationships he knew weren't built to last. That made every interaction feel so much more realistic.
The moment Marlowe came back into his life, everything shifted. You could feel the tension before anybody even said a word. And listen... I knew Raven was going to be a problem. 😂 The writing made it obvious she recognized what everyone else did. Kieran's heart had already chosen.
And that cliffhanger thoooooooooooooooo. 😩 Now why would you leave me like that?!

Captivated
Now this is how you write a story.
I loved how realistic the relationships and situationships felt throughout this book. So often, authors write the playboy character as misogynistic, cruel, or dismissive toward women. In reality, many of them wine and dine women while maintaining relationships they know will never become anything serious, and that’s exactly what Kieran captured here.
Kieran knew he loved Marlowe and Raven was a placeholder, but she was content in that arrangement as long as she was the one he came to for comfort. On the surface, it seemed like everyone understood the rules. The problem became obvious the moment Marlowe stepped back into the picture. Raven immediately saw what everyone else could see, the way Kieran was completely captivated by this woman.
The emotional tension was written so well that you could feel the shift in every interaction. That’s what made the story work for me. The characters felt flawed, believable, and painfully human.
I’m honestly sad that Part Two isn’t available yet. I refuse to be left hanging on that last page for long because I thoroughly enjoyed this book and need to know what happens next.

Kieran and Marlowe love story man I couldn’t put this book down Monique u did your thing with this book.Kieran and Marlowe know eachother since birth and they had a love hate relationship. Kieran is the sexy playboy and Marlowe is a beauiful boss queen . The both heir and heiress of their family bussiness . I can say they have a lot of sexual tension between eachother . Kieran not afraid to tell Marlowe how he feels and Marlowe not ready to admit that just yet. Their family decide that it time for both to get married and it going to be arrangement guys when I tell you it get spicy because the only person he wanted to marry was her that his soul mate. There was a lot of up and downs in this story but the main thing got to do is watch out for Raven . Fav scene is what happened between them at Kieran family whiskey distillery . Love this book so much 10/10 recommend you read.

I love it here !!
I realllly loved this book! 😩🫶🏾 Kieran’s personal growth and Lowe’s fear of what it would mean for them to actually be together were my favorite parts of the story. This felt so different from the typical arranged marriage romance because the feelings were already there…the emotional depth came so naturally for these two. ❤️
I looooved watching them fall in love! 😭✨ But whew… Kieran’s past showing up and ruining everything? Absolutely not. Cause WOWWWWW. 😭😭😭
Now I’m over here counting down the days until Book 2 because that ending left me needing answers immediately. Monique absolutely did her thing with this one! 👏🏾📚🥃✨

Fate Knew Best!
I truly believed this was going to end differently, a lil left earlier. Upon being told I have to marry and within 30 days before the merger while being ambushed at an impromptu dinner by parents, when Kieran walked out, I was so proud.
Unexpectedly both Marlowe and Kieran agreed. What I didn't expect but absolutely loved was how they realized that this is what they both wanted but wouldn't admit. They had no idea of how they were fighting fate that was destined.
Now, Raven is in her feelings and caused a ruckus. I thought she'd do it a bit earlier, but she's done it now!

I can’t believe that ending! Raven girllll. What the world. She can’t be going out like that!! Lowe and Kieron are too cute! They have been playing this cat and mouse game all of their lives. Their parents stepped in and made them see what they needed too. I feel sorry for Raven though. She is obsessed with Kieron, but knows where his heart really is. Come on book 2!

4.5 ⭐️ New to me author. I ate this up. Kieran and Lowe was stressing me the hell out but I was so invested. These two just kept circling eachother but they are meant to be. I will say they was playing in other people face and cause for a lil side eye but we gonna stick beside them. Book 1 in the series. Ends on a cliffhanger.

Oh my!
This was the first book I’ve read from this author and really enjoyed it. Could t put the book down. Now that ending…whew chile! I’m ready for book 2. I’m so glad my girl Lowe stopped running. Loved how Kieran stood on business and made his success his own.

OKAYYYY !!!!! You didn’t come to play. This book had me intrigued from the start. I love Lowe and Kieran relationship plus the vibe. The chase, true love , and bde. Everything was so easy to follow and i so adored their friends. They all kept it 100. Damn Raven!!

Very boring, Very predictable. Same stories being told over and over. And the trend of multiple books is tiring when it could have been all wrapped up in the first book.
