Emma is doing her best to make her and her unborn baby's life the best it can be, but the cost of her decisions may be more than she bargained for.

I read this story quickly. I didn't want to put it down. When I did, I was eager to resume.
This author has a talent for her rich writing, endearing, or sometimes loathsome, very authentic characters, along with unpredictable twists. Her writing has you immersed directly in the middle of it all with high drama and nail-biting suspense.

Fair warning: You'll want to follow up with Hawthorne House 2 after its release.
