I got the incredible opportunity to read the advanced copy of this book. See me is a book I read when I was 17 after I stumbled across tellas butterfly and the moth book. 5 years later I never Thought I would be able to read an advance copy. This book was beautiful in all the best ways I cried, I laughed, I felt. Seren is a complex hauntingly beautiful character that really is impossible not to fall in love with. She’s raw and exactly what I needed then when I was 17 and now. This book felt like ripping a wound open and finding closure all at once. Tellas ability to capture a feeling so perfectly and turn it into metaphors and painfully beautiful paragraphs always amazes me. You can feel her placing her soul into this series. Finishing this book I came to the realisation that this was it for the see me books and as much as it hurt that it’s over I’m exhilarated to see what comes next from tella because I’ll be right there waiting for the next thing she writes.

If someone would have told the version of me that was spamming Tella’s Wattpad comments that I would be ARC reading a book from the series that genuinely changed my life i’m not sure I would have believed you.

THIS BOOK. THIS SERIES. THESE CHARACTERS. Are perfect. Tella never ceases to amaze me but she truly outdid her self with this one. Seeing every little detail I not only noticed but cried over come full circle in this book was an experience I don’t know if I could even put into words.

When I say that no form of art or media has made me shed so many tears or made me feel so understood, I mean every single word. As someone that saw themselves in Blair more-so than Seren I almost went in to this feeling “unworthy” in a way but all this book did was show me that has nothing to do with it. In reality the entire point is Seeing yourself in a new light, Noticing the people who care for you and accepting their support, Trusting yourself, your choices, the people around you, and the strange little path that led you to this moment. There's something beautiful about that, Remembering to look for beauty everywhere, and Keeping the past alive inside of you without losing yourself in it.

Until we meet again when Tella decides to simultaneously rip our hearts apart only to stitch them back together better than before; May you find someone to fill the feeder, and always remember not to skip the alternator check (whatever that means hehe)

I was so blessed to receive this book as an Arc read directly from Tella. She is an amazing storyteller and after reading See Me I was immediately hooked into her writing style.

I was so excited to read more about Seren and Zane’s story. This book has a very different vibe from the first, focusing more on the traumas related to grief. We got to see the way that Seren shifts between happiness and depression all too quickly. We never knew happy Seren before, and it was really nice to meet her.

The reason that I knocked off one star is because the storyline seemed a little like it belonged to someone else. I felt like I never expected Seren to feel so connected to her family when she showed such hate and resentment for her father in the first book. I know the sequel takes place years later, and obviously she grew up and changed in that time, but it would have been nice to see more glimmers of the Seren we used to know. She was a lot more perceptive of people and wary of everyone’s intentions in the first book. I missed that.

I also felt like there was a lack of conflict or tension. There were only a few moments where I felt like I couldn’t predict what would happen.

All that being said, it was still an amazing read. I highly recommend it, of course after reading See Me. Tella really knows how to make you feel what her characters are feeling.

tella’s book ‘see me’ is one of my favourite books i’ve ever read. saying it changed my life is a complete understatement. the way she writes about the issues she covers in her books, i’ve never seen anything like it. see me helped me when i was going through a very difficult time in my life, i saw myself in seren. so i was very grateful to receive an advanced copy of this book and see all the characters that tella had sewn a special place into my heart. keep me feels like the perfect ending to a perfect series. one about imperfections and dealing with stuff that no one knows how to handle. it feels so raw, so real. it’s painful, in the best way. i’ll never get over this series, and i’ll never ever get over the chapters ‘love story’ and ‘sunsets’. genuinely 11/10. i never knew i could feel those kinds of emotions at once. the book felt like an emotional rollercoaster i didn’t want to get off. it felt like i was getting to see old friends after a long time. it was comforting, maybe painful, but the best kind.

tella, i wish i could write as good as you just so i could explain to you in words how much your books mean to so many people.

Ooooh…this book touched me in a way I was not expecting at all. And because of the personal tie, it took me OUT. Tella has such a beautiful way of telling a story. She grabs you by the heartstrings and doesn’t let go, and this book is no different from the rest of the See Me series. I love my sweet Seren and Zane with my whole heart and can’t wait for y’all to get their conclusion.

As an arc reader and a long time See Me fan, reading this book has been a dream come true. I’m so happy Tella continued writting into the series.
Wow. The way of writing is truly one of a kind, such captivating inner monologue with metaphors and symbolism so detailed. The plot of Keep Me connects so well with the other books in the series and all the smallest details match up. HIGHLY recommend reading this book if you have enjoyed the See Me series!
