A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER!

The Deadly Cruise is book 10 in the Abigail Summers cosy mystery series, and what a delightful read this was.

We're all aboard The Piece Of Paradise cruise liner, bound for Norway, with psychic medium Hayley, her policeman husband Tom, and their 2 friends. Hayley and Tom are looking forward to a relaxing holiday, without the presence of Hayley's ghostly, sleuthing friends. But their plans are derailed when a man is found dead on a sun lounger and a copycat killer is deemed to be on the loose. The murder sends shockwaves around the ship and instigates the appearance of Abigail Summers and her ghostly detective crew, minus a couple of members. They all set to work to try to crack the case before panic sets in amongst the other passengers. But with a sinister killer running amok, their sleuthing skills are put to the test.

I really love this series, its so quirky and fun. There's plenty of comical moments, with the slapstick humour, innuendo's and double entendres. I think for me, a cruise liner has to be my most favourite setting of the series. It's definitely original and stands out within its genre.

A quick and thoroughly enjoyable read. It's fast-paced and flows well with the short, snappy chapters. I would highly recommend this series. Looking forward to seeing what Ann comes up with next. Brilliant.

Every one of these ten books has been fantastic including this one. Tony Johnson may be mellowing towards Hayley. I do hope so and I hope there are more books to come about these amusing and entertaining ghostly sleuths and their living helpers.
