Ready for part 2

This went in a direction that I was not expecting. I'm ready for the next part. Pix is my favorite. I like the others too. I'm still wrapping my head around all that happened.

I really don't know how I want to rate this one. I LOVED the first book in this series and you know when a side character just captures your attention and you can't wait to read more about them? That was Pix for me. I was so excited that he had his own book and honestly I think that is my biggest issue with this one - Pix is such an afterthought. We hardly get any scenes with him and the ones we do he is so far in the background that it is beyond frustrating. I also think the lack of groveling after ignoring him and berating him should be a crime. I honestly would have preferred if Pix wasn't even in this book because he is not appreciated enough for me.

On the other hand I read this book in one sitting. Tea Ravine writes in a way that I love and the characters were definitely interesting. I will be reading the next book because I am dying to find out what happens but I really need some major justice for Pix.

Its sooooooo good! Cliffhanger isn't the shock factor cliffhanger which my poor nerves appreciate! Tea did such a good job of building the suspense and keeping the mystery going.

Its a dark book so definitely check those trigger warnings before going into it!

From Tea's website:
Mental illness representation Other Specified Dissociative Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder (Formally known as Multiple Identity Disorder)(Please note that while this book has taken the basis of these two disorders to create this fiction, the illness in this book IS NOT ever named because she is not diagnosed. This is a work of FICTION. A lot of the symptoms/ behaviours are not real or true to the real life symptoms that people who do live with this disorder experience))

Serial killers
Mute FMC
Abuse including- kidnapping, starvation, whipping, chained up, bashed, drugged, knives,
Gore
Murder- in lots of ways.
MMC drug each other and FMC
Bad guy drugs
PTSD- symptoms
Other mental illness not specified and symptoms
Talk of child abuse
Talk of institution abuse
Flashbacks to traumatic scenes
Threats, Blackmail, oh my
One conversation where it is heavily implied an animal and child were killed years ago
Step Bros (I’m sorry, I love this trope)
Detective VS Serial Killer (Alpha VS Omega)
Stalking
Cult like group
Bad guy who thinks he’s god
Camping
Cameos from our favorite pack and family
Banter and atrocious flirting
A pack of serial killers coming together for an omega…or two
Two omegas- One male, one female.

I cannot wait to read Rot! September can't come soon enough!!

Opposites attract.

Oh, what an absolute delight of a book. An omegaverse that's as dark as it is captivating. So GOOD!

The characters are connected to those from the first book. In fact, that's where we first meet two of this story's main characters.
So if you've already read book one, you'll enjoy seeing familiar faces. And if you haven't, chances are this one will make you want to go back and read it.

This book features two omegas—one male and one female. One is a force to be reckoned with, while the other has spent her life having every ounce of her strength stripped away.

Their relationship gets off to a difficult start. The past has left deep scars, and the present is filled with fear and insecurity.

Helping them find where they belong and recognize their own worth are the incredible alpha MMCs. Each of them has a completely distinct personality, yet they're all wonderfully intense in their own way.
Even better, the bond they share with each other is enough to make you swoon.

I absolutely love it when a why-choose romance lets the MMCs have genuine feelings for one another as well.

Every single MC is wonderfully unhinged in their own way, and I loved every second of it.

This is the first half of a duet, and it ends on a cliffhanger that will have you wanting to bite your nails. I can't wait for the second book to find out what really happened and what comes next.

What an unexpected story

I had no idea what I was getting into with this book and it was fantastic. I loved the first book in the series and this one is even better.

This book starts running from page one with Pix and the run in with Merle. I'm a sucker for a two omega pack.

This story gives you way more than you could have imagined. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one because there are still so many questions that need answers.

I will say that I was sad that we did not get much from Pix as I originally thought this was going to be his story. I do hope we get more of him in the next one because I absolutely loved him in book one of the series.

When there is a warning for a plot twist I always wonder if I can spot it and if its really as big a deal as it seems. Well I can confidently say this one is huge and has some major issues with it. I also never would have guessed it.

This book has character growth, past traumas, tons of suspense, some healing and a found family that will stop at nothing to keep everyone safe.

I will say this was definitely a more gentle cliffhanger than I expected with everything that was going on. Though I am no less begging for the next book.

This book reminds me of why I hated highlighting in school. I highlighted everything. It's all important and way too good not to. When you get to the massive story twist, you are going to realize that you might have seemed invested before, but now you're on the edge of your seat. Then, when you start to relax a bit, the rug gets pulled out from under you, and you will fall face first with everything that gets uncovered. You'll realize that your time has flown by before you know it because of how deep this story truly goes! Tea Ravine's writing absolutely has that effect.

Merle's character is so unique that I haven't read a story with a female lead like this, especially an omega. Thankfully, she has so many men who can protect her peace. Pix really deserves more love than he could really ever dream of. Roseland, Sage, Blaze, King, and Rolly are the alphas in this book.. and they all need to work through their issues & come together like a real pack, even if they have to bring in some members kicking and screaming. These are some amazing kick @ss characters who aren't afraid to do anything to protect the ones they choose, even if they aren't picked back.

Oh, uh oh my, my, my, I will admit I had so many feelings for this book I giggled.I cried this author has the ability to just pull all those angsty, lovey, divvy feelings with every word she writes

It starts with picks, who is a bit of a menace, and he has been in love with a detective which is odd because they're totally opposite sides of the work spectrum. And the man that he is in love with Roseland
Well, he says that he already has somebody. So all he does is turn him away. But this leads them to go from trying to find somewhere to get out of the line of fire, to meeting up with a whole crew of people that it turns out to make their little circle so much better. There's Blaze, rolly Sage and king, who we meet in book 1
And they get to be center stage in this one, and actually we can't forget Marlee who ( you want to read your TW) is more interesting then those guys for sure

This book is dark so definitely check the TW before reading!

This book took me on a rollercoaster I didn't know I was on. Wow! Merle's character was one I didn't see coming and I absolutely adored her character development during this. She finally trusted her heart to alphas and another omega who helped protect her. The plot had me hooked from the near start and that cliffhanger has me wanting more! Excited for the next book already!

I loved Pix in Bonnie's story and do adore him more watching him interact with the shared alphas of him and Merle. Sage, Blaze, King, Rolly and Roseland all bring different aspects to the table of their mismatch pack and I loved the multi pov so we got to see the insight of all of them. Blaze and King have the edge for me right now in terms of favourites but I do like them all.

Intense!

This was such a fast paced book full of intense moments, chaotic discoveries, and shocking insights. Pack life is not all sunshine and rainbows, cuddles and hot cocoa. This packs dynamic will have you spinning in circles and playing a fun game of catchup on what- will- happen- next. This book will have you on the edge of your seat asking who's who and what for. It'll have you gasping in delight, blushing in sin, and wide-eyed in horror, on every single page you turn. I highly recommend if you're looking for a dark thriller, with touching moments, found- family, bonding, and knots. But also destruction, mystery, secret agendas, and enough adrenaline to get to this end of this cliffhanger of a story. Happy reading!

This is one of those books that get you addicted from the get-go. This is a beautifully crafted story that is filled with lively personalities, more than you initially thought, and is such an interesting read. I love how individual all of the alphas are and wonder how Tea managed to find that right balance of caring and psychotic, whilst they still manage to be endearing. Mearle is a sweetheart, who is both fragile and brave. She is not brave in the normal sense, but brave for surviving and being able to find a way to escape. Pix is an enigma, he is here, but not.
This story is still so much up in the air, nothing is solved, the pack are still not settled and so much still needs discovering. I am on tender hooks waiting to find out what happens next. Amazing!

This was such a wild read and I was hooked on the uniqueness of omega Merle. Now, I should mention, right from the get-go, that this is a dark book and it's wise to check the TWs before diving in. The emotions, character development, massive twists, trust and romance took me to the edge of my seat, throughout, and had me rooting hard. Of course, there's a cliffy but it wasn't toooo wicked ;) Expect to get caught up in the characters, plot, past traumas, healing, mystery, suspense and emotions as you follow this pack on their journey. Can't wait for the next book to see how things continue to unfold for Merle, Pix, Sage, Blaze, King, Rolly and Roseland :D

I am in awe. I love books with large packs. But I often find that sometimes some of the personalities run similar. This is not the case here. Each of the members of this forming pack are so different and unique and have been so beautifully created. Then you have Merle. She took a minute for me to understand, but when I tell you it clicked, I was shook! I am absolutely blown away with Tea’s creative genius. This is a dark book, please keep that in mind. There are heavy themes, and there is still more to come. But I am still reeling with everything that has happened and I’m desperate for book 2.

What a ride!

I don't think I've ever read such an intense book. My mind is still spinning and I can't even imagine where the next book is going to take readers.

Merle is broken and so unique. And without a voice, her story kind of trickles out. And her alphas are also very different. Not as damaged as her, but they've all been through some things. Then you add in Pix, another omega, who is fighting his connection to all of them...except Roseland...and its chaos.

This book has a lot of dark themes to it. It also has a strange sense of honor and family. Everything in Rest In Knotty Pieces felt like a strange dream. I have a feeling the next book will be even more intense.

The cliffhanger for me was heart wrenching. The last 10% of this book had me on edge the entire time. Blaze had me in tears. Tea Ravine writes stories that pull you in and don't let go. I loved Meet Your Knotty Maker (highly recommend reading it before starting this one), but this may be my favorite. Your mental health is important. I suggest reading the content warning before starting this book. These characters have had traumatic lives and are all dealing with that in their unique way. I have a feeling this book will stay with me a long time.

Pix and Rose find themselves still fighting each other over being scent matched however they are not the only match, when they hit a female in the middle of nowhere BFE, she is also their scent matched however but how when they don’t acknowledge each other? Then bring in Roses step brother and his pack - and matches are unbelievable….. then with Father ( serial killer and abuser) is Merle who is hiding behind alter egos. With this omegaverse suspense will definitely keep you guessing the entire story, and to finish with a huge cliffhanger 🧗‍♂️.

This is the second book in the RIP Alpha series. This book has dug its claws into my heart and mind! These MMcs are obsessive, unhinged and over the top. Who doesn’t want to keep these walking red or should I say black flags…The FMC is lost and alone in this world. Or so she thought. Now she is surrounded by men, but can she trust these men?
Thank you, Tea Ravine, for another story in this series! I was not sure you could have written a better story after reading the first book but I was so wrong! And I cannot wait until the next book is released!

Another box where the male omega is an afterthought and a background character. I had high hopes on him but it’s like the author genuinely didn’t car about him wat so ever we still know basically nothing about him, his scent powers weren’t shown AT all he was constantly getting rejected and unappreciated. And there was ABSOLUTELY NO groveling at ALL. I’m so dissapointed I really had hopes that I could finally read a story where the male omega is loved but obviously not ):

Oh my god, I laughed so much, but I most certainly cried too while reading this book.

It was truly a rollercoaster of emotions.
You don't just develop a mental disorder out of nowhere; it stems from trauma.

The cliffhanger is heart-wrenching; I’d love nothing more than to dive straight into the next book.
Unfortunately, I have to wait a little while for that.

Rest In Knotty Pieces is the second in the RIP Alpha Series by Tea Ravine. This is Pix's story that we met in the previous book. I love Pix. This is such a mix of personalities in this pack. Merle has gone through some major trauma - but she is one strong Omega. Loved it - I hope we get more Pix in the next book. This does end on a cliffy. Check your TWs.

I dont even know what to say. This book was incredible. I think I have prevent creases from my scrunched up face for the last 20% of this book. I adore the characters and I knew it was a duet and still was not ready for that end. Highly recommend!!

What a fucking disgrace to call this a why choose just write a fucking MMMMM++ book GODDAMN. So goddamn tired of authors hijacking and ruining our beautiful genre with shit like this. IF IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT THE FMC IT'S NOT A WHY CHOOSE. Take your gay romance to the MM genre.

Tea has created a palpable and emotionally impactful story of depravity, violence, and the most tender of vulnerableness. There is so much to unpack with this nuanced and deeply faceted characters. Each member of this fumbling pack has endured and thrived in the midsts of their relative traumas. Each of their jagged pieces form a mosaic of hope, healing, and acceptance.

However, time and circumstance are not on their side. A deadly and formidable puppet master is at play; and its is a life or death race to uncover and unravel the game that is afoot.

This was beautiful woven and utterly heart wrenching. Much like Bonnie’s book, I could not put it down! Pix, Merle, and their menagerie will absolute steal your heart even if they are eviscerating it in the process. I implore you to dive into this new installment when it releases in August 1st. But be warned that more is to come after a brutal cliffhanger.

I will caveat and say that while this is an interconnected standalone, I do think you will gain much more understanding and scope of this world if you start on book one on the RIP Alpha series. As always, please check content warnings on Tea’s website.
