Once again, Lorelei Johnson does not disappoint! This book centres around Althea, a lamia, and Kael, a werewolf. This pairing was a new one for me and I absolutely loved it - the dynamic was unique and the pair made a great team. I loved the conflicts and the sweet, tender and sometimes spicy dynamic! The storyline was interesting and complex, balancing nicely with the romance! This is a fated mates/ immediate romance and I will always and forever be a slow burn girly but I still really enjoyed this. I loved the found family dynamics between Althea and the wolf pack, the whole thing was very heartwarming!
