here's some things I think I pulled from Thinking About Nothing, my first jump into top shelf theoretical physics and shit

1) all the particles that we know could instantaneously reconstrue as other particles, previously existing or brand new.
2) FTL travel is almost definitely, probably, a thing at some point in human existance (!!)
3) higgs boson shit
at some point we might be able to melt the current vacuum we are in and obtain new dimensions to move freely in

...wut


The entire piece is a dialogue between Rafelski and Mueller, broken down into somewhat understandable portions. The parts that you are interested in, you will reread about 50 times until your brain questions if this is sci-fi, or actual theoretical physics circa 1985.
