I absolutely loved this book! From the very beginning, the small town setting felt so warm and welcoming, and I quickly fell in love with all of the characters. The new girl in town and the firefighter's slow burning yearning for her was everything I wanted.

What really made this book special for me was how comfortable it felt. It was the kind of story I never wanted to leave because the town and its people felt like family. The relationships between the main characters were wonderful, but I also loved all the side characters and the friendships throughout the story. Everyone added something special, and it made the world feel so alive.

The romance was beautiful, but it wasn't the only thing keeping me hooked. The storyline kept me on edge the entire time, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. There was the perfect balance of heart, drama, and suspense.

I'm already hoping for more books featuring the other characters and firefighters because I am definitely not ready to say goodbye to this town. I would happily read a book about every single one of them!

Thank you J.A Chambers for this ARC read. I need to order the physical copy asap :) congratulations on everything!

Thank you to J.A. Chambers for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

While I don't typically read contemporary romance, I really enjoyed the small-town setting, the found family dynamics, and the chemistry between the main characters. Their relationship was sweet, and it was easy to root for them throughout the story.

Personally, I tend to enjoy romances that have an extra layer of mystery, suspense, or unexpected twists driving the plot. Because of that, I found this story a bit more predictable than my usual preference. That said, I think readers looking for a cozy, character-driven romance with a firefighter hero, a baker heroine, and plenty of heart will likely enjoy this one.

While this one wasn't quite the right fit for my personal reading tastes, I'm still grateful for the opportunity to read it early and look forward to seeing what J.A. Chambers writes next!

MADDIE AND GRANT!

i absolutely adored this book and the characters. the storytelling and writing were so well together and getting to imagine this couple was everything and more

i’m a sucker for a he falls first and just Grant seeing her cry and seeing her for the first time. Grant was down bad quick

although Maddie is a strong independent woman who can do things on her own having a firefighter around like Grant was not so bad. after she let her guard down

i absolutely love a small town romance with a couple who just loves their jobs or being with each other and understanding new things.

this was my very first firefighter mc surprisingly and Grant did not disappoint. from his job to caring for Maddie so gently i was a sucker from the absolute beginning. i truly cant wait for the next book and the next story

thank you JA Chambers for the ARC opportunity! review was long over due. I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS THE BOOK!
