What did I just read?!

The story was more of a filler than an actual plot. The conversations between Elizabeth and Lacey were so boring and aimless, and they didn't seem to contribute anything to the overall story.

I had trouble understanding Elizabeth's thoughts. She's such a hypocrite who did the opposite of what she said and thought countless times. I didn't like her as a character. She's immature, illogical, impulsive, and self-centered.

The only good thing in this book was Scott. He's an easy-going and optimistic person. For the fact that Elizabeth lied to him and tried to humiliate him in front of his coworkers, he still gave her a second chance though. Scott, you deserve someone better than this woman!

Well, I had endured enough and I will definitely not read the sequel, Seducing My Assistant. I'm sorry, I just don't want to experience something awful like this again.

I guess I'm just not a fan of this author's writing. Tried three different books, all written years apart, and I'm still not able to read her stuff without serious eye rolling and I feel like these characters are in high school, not adults

Falling for My Boss tells the story of Scott Taylor and Elizabeth Jeffries with characters from One Night Stand and Falling for My Best Friends Brother appearing as well in this stand alone. Elizabeth's job lands her officially in Scott's orbit on a Monday morning. She never expected him to be the person who rescues her from a blind date gone wrong the weekend before she starts her job and let me just say things just heat up from there! I absolutely love the Taylor family and friends. Scott and Elizabeth's story is riddled with misunderstandings, lies, and false starts. The heat these two generates though just heats up the pages! When everything catches up to our heroine and hero it appears all hope might be lost, but fate steps in to give them a second chance. With open lines of communication and the same chemistry burning between them can Scott & Elizabeth make a solid go of it? Falling for My Boss is such a great story with characters you can't help but pull for. J.S. Cooper definitely did not let me down in the book I've been waiting for!

J.S. Cooper has done it once again!!! She completely kept me engaged right from the start. This dynamic duo had such an interesting chemistry that kept you entertained Elizabeth and Scott's story continues after One Night with my Boss.
There are misunderstandings that tear them apart because they both keep secrets from each other. I can't wait to continue reading and see where these characters will eventually end up.
There is a cliffhanger, but it's completely worth the wait until the next book. Wonderful quick read!

After reading That Night With My Boss I have been waiting on this book to come out. Scott and Eliza story is cute and of course has its ups and down and then they finally end up working everything out and then comes the great cliffhanger that I was not expecting. I was surprised because I thought this book was going to be a standalone like One Night Stand and Falling for My Best Friends Brother. Even though I wasn't expecting that cliffhanger I am excited to see where J.S. Copper take this story.

Elizabeth is an actress. She accepted a job where she has to give a lap dance to Scott Taylor as a joke.
Her boss tricked her to a one week job as Scott's secretary and then giving him a lap dance at the end of the deal.

Fate made its move. When she was in a blind date, she met Scott and spent the night with him.

This book has two parts.
The first part is working with a Taylor brother and their steamy nights.
The second part is working with another Taylor brother without their steamy nights.

It's a 4.5 stars for me!

Falling For My Boss
I just love how JS Cooper interacts all of her stories together and yet they can still be read as standalone books. Takes real talent to be able to do that. This book was exciting and the whole time you were wondering what Elizabeth was going to do! Communication seems to be the key… it is seductive and erotic as well. Definitely a must read by JS Cooper!!

this book was awful. An absolutely horrendous read. I don't think I have read a book this stupid with characters that were so unlikeable and annoying since Night Owl, which I consider easily to be the worst book ever written. This may come in at a close second. one star is being generous.

Falling for My Boss is a delightfully fun and breathtakingly brilliant story of finding the stunningly unexpected at the worst possible time. This is an incredible story about finding yourself and the person who completes you in every way amidst the uncaring, stormy chaos of life. No matter how hard we might try to fight against and ignore our heart because of bad timing, ugly circumstances, or deeply ingrained insecurities, it will work that much harder to secure its hold on you and capture your full attention. You will not walk away easily, and you most definitely will not walk away forever unchanged from its overwhelming passion, its life-altering hope, and its devastatingly unfair knowledge of your deepest needs and biggest dreams. Once it has its hold on you, fighting is utterly useless, so instead embrace it with everything in you and allow your soul to find the peace and wholeness that only a love this true and pure can bring.

Elizabeth is trying to live a life that she can be proud of, but chasing her dreams is proving harder than she ever thought. When she is offered a questionable job that makes her rethink what she is really doing, she is torn between pursuing something that could be end up to be a total disaster, or perhaps if she wants it bad enough could be a new start to finally opening her heart and trusting again. Giving in to the hope she is desperately clinging to, she accepts the job and unknowingly begins a journey that will claim every piece of her heart for better or for worse. While waiting to meet his brother who ends up as a no show, he finds a beautiful girl that lights up every part of who he is – his heart, his mind, and his body. He feels a strong pull to this beautiful mystery and more than anything wants to get to know her better. Some gifts come wrapped with strings and secrets that could rip a burgeoning dream apart before it ever becomes reality. Does Scott and Elizabeth have what it takes to survive the aftermath of this raging storm, or will they watch helplessly as their small piece of Heaven slips right through their fingers?

I felt so torn when Elizabeth finds herself in a terrible situation that only gets worse. Yes, she made a bad choice, and the price she paid was so much higher than she could have ever imagined. It’s funny how we think we can compartmentalize ourselves in order to do things we think will benefit us. That’s like saying we can stop breathing and still continue to live a normal life. While Elizabeth courageously faced and dealt with one insecurity after another, it was Scott that my heart hurt for the most. Scott had no clue what was going on and all he did was put his heart on the line for her. Please don’t think that I disliked Elizabeth because truthfully I fell in love with both her and Scott. They were so right and perfect for each other. There no barriers between them when they were together. They brought out the good in each other and helped to build the other up. Together they could have overcome anything, and what they found in each other was the missing piece to their soul. No words could accurately describe what they shared. They were simply beauty at its finest.

J. S. Cooper continues to surprise and captivate me with her wonderfully heartfelt and fiercely raw stories of astonishing love mixed with true to life heartbreaking circumstances. She holds nothing back as she breaks my heart and mends it at the same time. Her writing and heart only grows stronger and bolder with each beautiful work or art she creates. These beautiful masterpieces are the stuff of dreams and the designers of legends. If you want to have a totally unique and intense experience, then look no further than a J. S. Cooper book!

DELICIOUSLY CUTE, FABULOUSLY FUNNY, SERIOUSLY SEXY, COMPLETELY CAPTIVATING AND DEFINITELY ENTERTAINING !!!
Jackpot! Another winner on the horizon for Cooper! Falling For My Boss is the super-sexy latest release from Cooper and WOW - it packs quite the punch! This latest addition falls on the heels of Cooper's super successful One Night Stand and Falling For My Best Friend's Brother. All three stories of this romantic vignette center around the Taylor family and their new-found romantic relationships. Falling For My Boss features wealthy, charismatic Scott Taylor and the lovely struggling actress, Elizabeth Jeffries. It reveals the story of how Scott meets the beautiful Elizabeth/Liz, originally through a blind date gone wrong for her, then again during a disastrous office shenanigan as part of a questionable job where she is hired to perform for him(disguised as his new assistant), and finally, a later whirlwind reintroduction to each other after she is unknowingly employed by Scott's brother, Aiden, for a very unusual position. Oh my! Wasn't that a real surprise! Hmmm.... Although this story is told from Elizabeth's point of view, the sequel, Seducing My Assistant, will be written from Scott's pov so that should really be a treat! That's all the spoilers you'll get from me! The story is very well developed, exciting, fast paced, lively, humorous, sensual, arousing and so romantic. Sigh..... The characters are also well developed and familiar as they were both introduced in previous books. In Cooper's writing style, the characters are consistently the heart and soul of the story and are always captivating, engaging and endearing, sexy as sin and often, laugh out loud funny. And, as with all Cooper's work, this story is modern and refreshing while the dialogue weighs in as smart, funny, witty, extremely well written and flows beautifully. I am always in awe of Cooper's talent, skill and unique writing style. She seems to be able to take the most mundane and ordinary circumstance and turn it into a masterpiece of romantic fiction. If you love heated attraction, fiery passion, fun-filled shenanigans, unavoidable angst and sweet romance, then you will surely love Falling For My Boss. Sexy, wealthy alpha male-check! Beautiful, sassy actress-check! Sweet, sweet romance, a large helping of troublesome angst and some super steamy sex-you bet! Buckle up my lovelies and let the games begin! Deliciously cute, delightfully funny, completely captivating, seriously sexy and definitely entertaining! Everything you need for a fabulously satisfying read!!!

What can I say about this book other than that it wittingly one of the best romances ever -- Who knew that party grams are the best thing in the world? They can bring the most unpredictable things into your lives.

In Scott Taylor's world? It brought love and a lot laughs and sexiness.

Boss/Worker relationships always are the best things in the world other than Teacher/Student relations because of the fact that I love these power relationships. Elizabeth Jefferies and Scott Taylor brought no other than that.

Falling For My Boss is unfortunately so addicting that you kind of, sort of, have to read this in one sitting. I sure as hell couldn't get over this book until I got into another book... But that's a story for another time.

I don't know about the rest of you bookies, but I always put myself into the story -- Usually as the main character -- and boy, this book took me for a thrill. Luring, teasing, tangling each other into the story and the romance of the Scott Taylor and what he will do to keep one of the best assistants ever.

4.7 out of 5 stars.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds.

Amazon freebie. This book wasn't all bad or all good. I thought it was a bit annoying that most of the forward movement in the plot took place over the phone with Eliza's best friend Lacey, than with the hero. I also found it a bit irksome that Eliza just kept diving into intimacy with Scott when there were several times he was a jerk to her and/or withheld the truth. And having sex with him in front of all his coworkers at the office party? It was supposed to be a fake lap dance. That was fairly skanky. It's also so nice and neat that the one single guy in the little group just happens to think the friend Lacey is hot stuff. How convenient. I thought this book had some potential, and a lot of the scenes were funny or fairly well-written, but the plot and believability could use some work.

I am enjoying this series. I got a little frustrated with Elizabeth and her trust issue. Good thing she had a friend to somewhat put her on the right path. I did not like how the story ended. I guess I'd have to get the next installment to see where they go with their relationship and who the heck her ex had at the door. I think it's her father. I would have to my bff to go away and I wouldn't have came out until my libido has straighten out. Anyway, the story line was good; the characters were good...this was a good reads.

Ends on a cliff hanger

Extremely angry that all the other books in the series were full length yet this one just dead stops on a cliffhanger. Can't believe I wasted $3.99 not to get the full story. I won't be buying the ending or any other books in the series. The story also seemed to be lacking any type of character connection that we saw in the earlier books. Don't bother.

I really wanted to like this book because I really enjoyed all the others. Yet, I have to say I am not happy with the way this book ended at all. In a total CLIFFHANGER! Then you have to pay another $3.99 that I paid for this book of 300+ page for the remainder of the story which is only 90+ pages. Really? Nope, not happy. It’s like this that make me wish I still read books that were actual books and not my phone so I could throw it.
Not to mention in the other book with Aiden and Alice and Xander and Liv I liked Scott. A lot. He seemed so carefree and so not the alpha male arrogant type. Flirty yes, but not a jerk, but in this book so not true. He is annoying. Eliza was a totally weak female character I kept thinking throughout the entire book, “What are you thinking.” Her friend Lacey was not a not good word of wisdom most of the times that’s for sure.
So, when I got to the cliffhanger and once again, she was going to walk headlong into her weakness before knowing what Shane her ex-brought her. Just the thought of leaving the room when she was finally making up with Scott regardless of the craziness of it, but she’s going to get up out of the beginnings of lovemaking to go talk to her ex who just shows up out of the blue.
She is worse than easy of the men she spoke about throughout the book. She’s easy, wishy-washy, and a commit-a-phoebe. Never felt connected enough to these characters because they weren’t to each other. I did keep hoping.
I would have to say skip this one if she’s not on the phone with her best friend or was allowing Scott to do things to her at the workplace that is highly against the law as her boss. There was no respect for boundaries which was also very annoying. Because if he wasn’t doing her, he was disrespecting her for not allowing him to do stuff to her. Not all bad Aiden figures out a way to get Alice to be his girlfriend.
Although he’s doing it to find out if she is serious since she is always being childish and not serious yet his method to find out is that exact scenario. I give this: 2 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.

This story is told by her, Elizabeth the female character's POV. I did not like the narrator, but I made myself listen.
Elizabeth is a struggling actress and finds work where she can to pay the bills. She is working for Candy Graham, and her new assignment is to work for a week as Scott Taylor's secretary. Then, at the office party give him a lap dance in front of all his cow-workers!
Well, they instantly strike up an attraction and in the one week they have steamy sex. They start to really like each other, and she starts wondering who the lady is who hired for this job.
Elizabeth's character has trust issues since her ex boyfriends cheated on her. But, I found her to be whiny, over dramatic and too judgmental!! Meanwhile Scott has no idea what's coming his way, he is handsome and sweet.
This story had alot of familiar characters form Falling for my Best Friend's Brother, Aiden, Henry and Liv are Scott's siblings.
Towards the middle of the book, everything as to who and why Elizabeth was hired, gets resolved. Then Elizabeth gets an unexpected visitor from her past, when she goes to see who it is, the story ends! I have the next book, going to listen to it and I think I already know who it is.
Overall performance, storyline and narrator's performance 3.5 stars.

Was ist in Elizas Vergangenheit falsch gelaufen? Was lässt beide zweifeln an dem anderen?

Overall menurut saya plotnya kurang kuat & minim konflik. Jalan cerita terlalu gampang ditebak. Jadi yaa kurang seru sih menurut saya

Be warned, the book ends in a cliffhanger. I wish I knew that before I started it but oh well..

I still found it to be funny and sexy. Scott Taylor sounds like a true alpha male but knows when to tuck his tail and be with the one is really likes. Elizabeth has stars in her eyes, trying to break into acting but taking odd jobs until her big break. Her assignment is to flirt and be sexy with Scott and then embarrass him at the company party. Little did she know that she would start to fall for the guy.

Cute and quick read.

I don’t usually give 3 stars reviews, ( the first one got 4⭐️, because I imagine how much work, hours and so much more it takes to write a book) but seriously this series is not my cup of tea.. I mean the story is cute, but the dialogue between characters is way juvenile for my tastes… I’ll continue to finish it, because I’m not one to start a book/series and never finish it, even if it’s a struggle to do so.
I’m sorry..
