So I was in the mood for some erotica and decided to give this one a try. And a very good choice it was, because though it had the BDSM theme, which is not my usual thing to go with, it was introduced really fine. There was some kink, but it wasn't hard core, I would even say it was rather on the sensual side. The sex scenes were steamy and a real turn on, and that proportion of erotica and hard stuff was very well balanced.
The story is about Lola, who is a journalist and needs to write a good story in order to keep her job. She can't get out of her head a missing girl named Hope and makes it her goal to find out what happened to her. Solving this mystery and writing an article will not only leave her employed but will also soothe her conscience.
Hope was last seen at Second Circle, the sex club, where Lola goes to snoop around. While trying to do so she meets the owner named Burke. It is obvious that there is chemistry there, even though Burke seems inaccessible and distant at first. The man seems dark and dangerous with a dominant strike in him. It is also evident that sassy, luscious and gorgeous Lola got under his skin and he wants her, so he proposes...
Thirty days with him in exchange for unrestricted access to the club and its employees to investigate Hope's disappearance. And the fun begins. Lola is trying to find out what happened to a girl, while Burke is trying to push her buttons and boundaries of her comfort zone.
Overall, it was quick, hot and a very sexy reading with a promise of romance between main characters in the future. And though the reveal at the end was a bit obvious it is still an interesting plot and I can't wait to find out what happened to a missing girl. Not bad for a debut, not bad at all. Looking forward to the next part.

My, my, my; what a dirty little gem this turned out to be. Bravo, Grace Morgan, on a debut book well done. Thispervert reader is definitely hooked on this serial and can't wait for more.
I had no idea what to expect when starting this book aside from the fact that the title was practically calling my name. Give me a dirty talking alpha, mix in a heroine that's just begging to be shown the dirty side of things, throw in a little kink with a side of mystery, and I'm on pervy cloud nine.
Lola is reporter that's determined to find out what happened to a woman that disappeared that frequented a very kinky and private sex club owned by an enigmatic and even kinkier man. But going undercover isn't quite as easy as she thought it'd be...
And nothing prepares Lola for when she finally comes face to face with the owner of Second Circle, Burke. The dominant, too sexy for his own good, Burke, that's definitely hiding quite a few secrets that Lola is determined to unearth. Burke can see through Lola's lies right away and calls her on it. But he also makes her a deal; he'll let her have carte blanche in his club for her investigation, if she agrees to thirty days with him. And it sure as hell will not be platonic or professional.
Now admittedly, I'm always hesitant with new authors that attempt BDSM elements because I don't handle red room of pain fluff type BDSM well. I was very pleasantly surprised how it was here. It's just the right side of kinky to satisfy us seasoned BDSM readers while being light enough for those that are just dipping their toes in the genre. It was also sexy as all hell. I loved the build up of sexual tension between Lola and Burke. It burned so good.
I also liked that there was something else driving the story aside from the lust between the MCs. The developing details about the disappearance of Hope was just that added icing on the cake that made this for an even more entertaining read.
Burke was everything the synopsis promised he'd be; kinky, cocky, and just the right side of mysterious and broody. Lola was a great heroine too.
This was definitely a great start to what looks to be a promising three part series, and I for one am definitely hooked.

If you’re looking for something sexy, fun and easy to read, look no further. “Filthy Dirty Alpha” was exactly that and more. Book one in Grace Morgan’s series with the same name, this read was hot and intriguing and kept my attention from the start. This first installment starts off with our heroine, Lola who wants a tour of one the kinkiest, notorious BDSM Club in Austin, Texas, “Second Circle”. No, Lola is not into BDSM. She is a reporter for the Austin Tribune and all she wants is to find out what happened with a woman who disappeared several months ago. Besides the personal info about the missing woman, Lola knows she frequented this "Second Circle".
Lola never expected to be so intrigued by a man like Burke. Tall, dark hair, powerfully built, enigmatic and sexy as hell, Burke is one of the owners. Burke is affected by the gorgeous brunette from the moment they met. A smart, experienced man, he figures out pretty quickly Lola is not who she pretends to be – just a simple woman who wants to be there. Actually he can tell she doesn’t really want to be there, even if she’s attracted with him as much as he is with her. But he has the perfect deal – Lola will spend the next 30 days in his apartment, will be his to satisfy in any way he wants and she will have unrestricted access to the Club for her investigation.

Grace Morgan delivers with this first installment one sexy read that will definitely leave you wanting more. Burke is one sexy, kinky Dom that I really liked. He’s successful, cocky, smart, but he can he attentive and thoughtful as well. Lola is determined and compassionate and likeable from the beginning. She got on my nerves one time or two, but overall she was great. I liked how she pushes Burke’s buttons and how they challenge each other.
I loved the slow burn building between Burke and Lola and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Very well done! The sex scenes are sexy, kinky, but not too kinky since the BDSM aspect is pretty light which was fine by me. I appreciate the fact there’s actually a story even if this was a start of an erotic series and I’m dying to know how Burke and Lola’s story will progress.
Overall, a great start to a new interesting, sexy series!

The story was hot and steamy, but at the same time was intrigue and with so much suspense...
I really thought that this book was the classical erotica story which nowdays are in uprising, but Grace manage to give something more than that and i thank her for this opportunity...
Usually i'm not so much in this kind of book, but this crawled inside me and got to me!!!

I got an ARC of this book but i couldn't bring myself to read it, mostly because the theme and the plotline are overused. I just finished it though and i'm happy to say i was wrong about this one.
Yes, the plot is particularly common, but the writing is very good, the dialogue not even a bit corny and the whole feeling while reading a sexual scene or just an intro to most of them, highly satisfying.
For the most part i had a positive reaction to this book but there were also a few issues. Firstly, maybe if the heroine wasn't a sexy reporter, but instead a sexy detective the story would have been better received and more solid. And secondly her actions, it felt like she forgot the real reason she was there.
Also i don't really know why, but at two points i felt that the heroine rushed her reactions without much reasoning. The first time they had sex, i was expecting something more from Burke than just a video and i couldn't understand their sexual frenzy while watching it. He hinted on bigger things. And later after she interviewed Richard she freaked out completely and run away like she had an epiphany, although it was clear that there was a connection of the crime with the club from the beginning. Nothing new there.
It never crossed her mind that Burke was involved until that moment? Really? And she calls herself a reporter?
Anyway, i still liked the premise and the execution so i will definitely read the next installment to see where this is going.

That was a great debut book! Lola is a reporter who is investigating the disappearance of a girl named Hope who was last seen at Second Circle, an underground BDSM sex club. Burke, one of the owners of the club, makes her an offer she cannot resist. Thirty days of her complete submission to his kinky desires in exchange for her unlimited access to the club and stuff for her investigation. Burke is a sexy, all alpha DOM who feels an immediate attraction to Lola. Lola feels the incredible chemistry too that makes her visualize tearing each other's clothes off.
Lola is a sharp, dynamic reporter who is intrigued by the BDSM play but is scared to submit. She is conducting her research during the day, but her nights are dedicated to hot foreplay, dirty talk, sexual voyeurism and to Burke’s kinky tendencies. Lola finds out that Burke knows something about Hope’s mysterious disappearance but he isn’t telling.
This read is suspenseful, sexy, sweet and hot! The flame is kept burning hot from the very beginning to the end of this first book. I’d like the love scenes to have been more graphic and hardcore but if you’re looking for something off the charts, super erotic and sensual then I highly recommend this book!

The Review:
I enjoyed this read for the most part. It pulled me right in with an interesting beginning, it had steamy scenes with a hot alpha Dom and an intriguing heroine. But when I finished, I was left feeling incomplete. This read was good but it just didn’t leave a huge impression.
It was a short, interesting story that has a little bit of thrill, a bit more mystery and a pinch more sexy! But I felt like the story was lacking... but maybe that’s because there’s more to come.
Story/Characters...
Lola, in fear of losing her job as a reporter, knows she needs a good story if she’s going to escape the office downsizing and keep the job she loves so much. Hearing rumors of possible foul play of a girl who has gone missing, she decides to investigate the last place she was seen. Hoping to fake her way into Second Circle, a sex club that delivers most brands of kink to those who can afford it, she never expected to find something more profound at the club and she certainly never expected to be given an offer she couldn’t refuse.
The offer? Thirty days of unfettered access to all things club related for her story in exchange for her complete submission. That's the offer Burke, owner of the club, has made. I loved this offer. He is on a self imposed dry spell but when Lola walks through his club doors, he can’t resist the pull to make her submit. I really enjoyed Burke. He’s an alpha Dom but he was also patient. And I liked how he made their scenes both playful and sexy. Lola knows he’s hiding something and she’s trying to get to the bottom of it without losing her heart in the process. When these two finally came together, they were smokin’ hot.
This is the first installment in the series and I loved the slow build in their time together. It wasn’t rushed and it was a nice change to all the insta-romances I’ve been reading lately. I also liked how Lola didn’t instantly fall into bed with Burke. She’s there for a reason and she knows that he could be one of two things. He could somehow be connected to the disappearance of the missing girl or he could be the one man she could absolutely fall for. Both of these outcomes terrify her so she’s on guard all the time using the basis of a story to erect walls.
There’s definitely something Burke isn’t saying and seeing his intensity and iron will slowly melt around Lola was fun. I really enjoyed their time together and the mystery surrounding the club goers was well done.
But...
I do wish there has been more to the story itself. We have the ground laid for a great read but this installment felt to short to really get a grip on what was happening. I didn’t feel like I got to know the characters well enough or have enough background on them to form an attachment.
And I wish there had been more spicy scenes. They are in a sex club, living above all the action but we only really see two scenes inside the sex club. I also wanted there to have been more intimacy between Burke and Lola before the ending of the book. Perhaps with all the installments read as one, that “want” will be satisfied but for now, I was very much intrigued but left feeling like I didn’t get a good grip on the story. I just wanted.. more.
The Wrap Up:
This read was definitely sexy. The writing was well crafted and it had enough potential that I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next installment. I’m interested in seeing how this plays out and how the mystery unfolds.

This is the first installment in the series and I loved the slow build in their time together. It wasn’t rushed and it was a nice change to all the insta-romances I’ve been reading lately. I also liked how Lola didn’t instantly fall into bed with Burke. She’s there for a reason and she knows that he could be one of two things. He could somehow be connected to the disappearance of the missing girl or he could be the one man she could absolutely fall for. Both of these outcomes terrify her so she’s on guard all the time using the basis of a story to erect walls.
There’s definitely something Burke isn’t saying and seeing his intensity and iron will slowly melt around Lola was fun. I really enjoyed their time together and the mystery surrounding the club goers was well done.
But...
I do wish there has been more to the story itself. We have the ground laid for a great read but this installment felt to short to really get a grip on what was happening. I didn’t feel like I got to know the characters well enough or have enough background on them to form an attachment.
And I wish there had been more spicy scenes. They are in a sex club, living above all the action but we only really see two scenes inside the sex club. I also wanted there to have been more intimacy between Burke and Lola before the ending of the book. Perhaps with all the installments read as one, that “want” will be satisfied but for now, I was very much intrigued but left feeling like I didn’t get a good grip on the story. I just wanted.. more.
The Wrap Up:
This read was definitely sexy. The writing was well crafted and it had enough potential that I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next installment. I’m interested in seeing how this plays out and how the mystery unfolds.

I loved this book. I am a smutty, erotic, serial series these days and each has its own unique properties that I just love. This book fit that bill and completely blew me out of the water. This book was sexy, sweet, smart, suspenseful, and quite intense at times. And be warned... this is book one in a new serial so it does end in a cliffhanger.
This is Lola and Burke's story. Lola is a reporter searching for a girl who went missing. She has traced to her an exclusive sex club. She wants answers and intends to find out what happened to her. What she doesn't expect is the owner Burke and the filthy, sexy desires he brings out of her. Burke will allow her to investigate but only be his rules. She can have full access to the club but in turn... she will be his for thirty days. Told in dual POV, get ready for a sexy ride that will have you screaming for more at the end.

The first book in a brand new series always sort of unsettles me, I never know if I’m getting little more than groundwork for the rest of the series and will be ultimately left disappointed or whether like in this case I will be hooked and wondering when the hell I am going to be able to get my hands on the next book.
The book centres around Carter and Burke, who just happen to own their very own sex club – I mean I know that this is not a new scenario but hell if you don’t fall for this pair then you are reading the wrong material!
The club is under the radar but the patrons get exactly what they are looking for and so do both Carter and Burke. I loved Carter, the fact that he embraced the joy of being a young man with the world at his feet and women at his disposal – and willing women at that, there are few men in his position that would not be welcoming the world with open arms.
Burke on the other hand was harder to get a handle on, he played his cards close to his chest but that did not deter from the fact that he was just as into the club and its clientele as Carter was.
But life for Burke is about to get a whole lot more interesting when prospective club member – Lola turns up for her in person interview – there is something about the woman that has Burke edgy and he is not one to hold back – he makes sure she knows that he is not convinced by whoa dn what she is pretending to be and in the end she is left with little option but to tell him not only who she is but why she is in his club.
Lola is investigating the fact that a woman last seen at the club is now missing – but this sharp reporter has a decision to make when Burke offers her the opportunity to ask all the questions she wants., because despite the fact that a blind man could see the sparks flying between the pair of them – could she really accept his offer of free reign to the club and the patrons in return for spending the next 30 days with him?
Burke on the other hand has plans for this inquisitive reporter and none of them involve her notepad- he likes his women to be submissive and he can spot a reluctant sub at a hundred paces – Lola is just what he wants, she just doesn’t know it yet!
Can this pair both get what they want and need from their arrangement – well it certainly looks like it is heading that way when they fall into a comfortable groove – Lola doing what she needs to get to the bottom of her investigation during the day and Burke taking over her reigns at night. It is an uncomfortable shift from everything she has previously thought she wanted and needed but there is much more left to come in this series and I am fascinated to see where the author intends to take the story in the next book.
A superb start to the series.

4 Star Review of Filthy Dirty Alpha (Filthy Dirty Alpha #1) by Grace Morgan
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is Grace Morgan’s debut novel and as one of my favourite genres is BDSM, I was intrigued by the synopsis and therefore when offered to our blog, I was pleased to put my hand up to review.
This is an erotic book with kink and mystery all rolled into one. Be prepared, there are 3 books in this series, a fact I was unaware of when I first started to read, however I will certainly ensure I read those too.
Lola is a reporter, determined to find out what has happened to missing woman, Hope who was last seen leaving the Second Circle, the hottest underground sex club in Texas.
Burke is co-owner of the Second Circle, a millionaire who is a totally dominant alpha male, ruthless and determined when going after what he wants; and make no mistake he wants Lola.
Burke is immediately attracted to Lola and once he finds out what her real intent is in visiting the club, comes up with a deal that Lola inevitably cannot resist accepting. In exchange for living with him for 30 days, he will allow Lola unfettered access to the club, staff, members and security tapes to assist in her search for what happened to Hope.
Lola is determined to find her answers and solve the mystery, whilst Burke is determined that she explore her submissive tendencies and eventually submit to him. He isn’t interested in developing feelings for her and in fact unlike his co-owner in the club, Carter who is laid back and easy to get on with, Burke hold himself back. Lola is totally unprepared for the nights which Burke controls as he introduces her to the world of BDSM with sizzling results.

You will need to read these books to find out. This was one sexy and hot read. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects and look forward to reading the remaining two books in the series.

Filthy Dirty Alpha is book #1 in a new series by Grace Morgan, this is the first book I have read by this author and I was gifted a copy to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
Now a book with the title Filthy Dirty Alpha has some smutastic expectations to live up to, unfortunately this book is not really that filthy or dirty lol.
HOWEVER it definitely has a lot of filthy potential for the rest of the series.
This story does what all first books should and sets the scene; Lola and Burke are introduced and holy sexual chemistry batman!! This couple have a serious spark and I definitely felt the connection between them.
This book is based at a sex club but although there is some BDSM stuff it’s not your typical sex club novel.
Lola and Burke have a sort of dom/sub thing going on but again it wasn’t you typical FSOG rehash.
This book is all about the foreplay, it teases with voyeurism and a different spin on the sex club book. Now I like a kinky book the dirtier the better but I also enjoyed this sneak peak at the filthier things that I’m sure will come from this series.
There is this big mystery that surrounds Hopes disappearance but I genuinely have no idea how Burke is involved if he is at all. And what has happened to Lola that she is so personally invested in this missing girl??
This book asks a lot of questions but doesn’t really answer any of them, but it does leave me very intrigued and that’s always a good thing!!
My one big issue with this book was the sex scenes, they felt rushed and to be honest a bit confusing. They had the intensity but I wasn’t feeling the flow of the scenes.
This book is a really interesting start to a series and I’m looking forward to the next book.

Wow I am so glad that the next book in this series is being followed by Filthy Dirty Secrets and it is due to come out only a week after this book Filthy Dirty Alpha because of course Lola & Burke’s story will continue and it ended on a little cliffie. Not an OMG I can’t believe she left me with an ending like that kind of cliffie but, still a cliffhanger. At least I know there will be another book to continue their story and yes I will be reading the next book in the “Filthy Series”

Lola is a reporter for the Austin Tribune and is haunted by the photo of a woman that went missing after visiting Second Circle, an underground sex club in Texas. Lola goes undercover to try and solve the mystery of the woman’s disappearance but she never counted on meeting Carter, the owner of the club. Carter is a sexy, dirty talking dominant and feels a connection with Lola at first glance. These two enter into a bargain that Lola can investigate at his club for thirty days but her nights belong to Carter in his bed. Sweet Deal. Lola and Carter grow close but there are unanswered questions about the disappearance and these might be questions Lola does not want to ask without risking her relationship with Carter. This was a spicy and sensual story with a touch of mystery that kept you glued to each page. I cannot wait to see where this story is headed and where this couple will end up.

The title of this book caught my attention right away plus the blurb was very catching. It was kinda a surprise to me but a great way to start the series. You get the investigative side along with the sex. In this book, its great mix of both. Lola is determined to find out the truth while Burke has some secrets he isn't ready to share yet. They have some serious chemistry together! I can't wait to read the next to books to see how they tie in together.

A woman is missing and Lola (a reporter) is trying to find out what happened to her. She goes to a BDSM club where she was last seen and ends up agreeing to spend 30 days with the owner to investigate what might have happened. There are a couple of good twists and turns and it ends in a CH, so I went right on the next book...Hot sex scenes.
