For nearly five years, Deuce managed to keep his gang out of serious trouble, but a favor for a friend of a friend puts Deuce in a hell of a spot—take temporary—and unwilling—custody of a young man in a relationship that’s way over his head or leave him in the path of a near-certain death? Despite his decision to leave college-boy’s safety to chance in order to protect his gang from potential kidnapping charges, Cooper ends up cuffed to Deuce’s bed and he discovers fate has a different solution in mind.
When Cooper McElroy is kidnapped by bikers, he has no idea his life is about to change forever. From the moment he meets their sinfully sexy leader Deuce, he realizes the attraction might be more dangerous than the situation the bikers claim to have saved him from. Kept in an isolated location, Cooper discovers this is one gang that doesn’t seem to have issues with territory—it’s all share and share alike. Cooper’s only protection is Deuce’s order declaring him strictly off limits. But the more time Cooper spends with Deuce, the more his body insists it knows what it wants—so who’s going to save him now?
Cooper’s about to discover a new life on the open road…and what it means to be part of a gang that shares almost everything. Will he continue to seek his freedom or beg the gang to take him on the ride of his life?
Episode 6 In this episode, Cooper discovers what’s true for one man isn’t necessarily the truth for the other, and even the simplest of decisions may have unintended the consequences.

Sadly, I feel I have no other choice than to reduce my ratings for all Laura Harner books. The evidence of plagiarism for some of her books appears incontrovertible and she has even apologized for it. This, for me, taints her entire body of work. I can no longer trust the integrity of any of her writing.
This in no way reflects upon the integrity or quality of any author with whom she collaborated.
Now that we’re at the end of the Deuce Coop saga with Episode 6, let’s recap briefly. Episode 1: Taken – Cooper’s sister Marcy had asked the Dragon Slayer Club’s motorcycle gang to keep an eye on Cooper while she was out of town on business. At first they said no, but when Cooper is assaulted in a parking garage by his boyfriend Edward, plans change and the gang kidnap Cooper for his own safety. Episode 2: Deadlocked – While trying to escape from Deuce and his friends, Cooper learns that he might be safer held captive. Episode 3: Collision – Cooper is falling for Deuce but the club’s share and share alike rules are getting in the way of what Cooper really wants. Cooper finds he may have an as yet undiscovered kink as the men take Cooper on a ride into their lifestyle. Episode 4: Dark Desires – An orgy, a split, and a disappearance. Can Deuce be found in time? Episode 5: Repercussions – Cooper is kidnapped (again) and tortured. After he is rescued (again) his ex is put in a holding situation where the unthinkable happens. Episode 6: Truth and Consequences – Deuce and Cooper find a murderer but that’s not the ending of the story. Can a college boy and a motorcycle gang leader find happiness together? That’s the question Cooper and Deuce must decide to get to either an HEA or a parting of ways.
I loved how Coop and Deuce love for each other stayed strong despite Deuce trying to leave Coop. It did not work because Coop is stubborn as heck. Erin
