I give this 4 stars for the drama it kept me entertained but my god everyone was so immature and I just wanted to shake them and yell grow up! The guys were all jerks and for some reason the girls fell for that. Like I said the drama kept me entertained.
I have yet to read a Jennifer Foor book I didn't love!! She is great at pulling emotions out of you - laughing, sobbing, bawling, jaw dropping -- I just love her style <3
Here are my reviews for each book in the series!!

Repair Me (Kin #1)
Hit me with your best shot! Wow this book packs a punch! Lust, betrayal, blackmail, love, hatred - it's all in there. Lots of conversation and lack of conversation between the main two characters, Ford and Skylar. If you want to leave how to love and fight with the best of them, pick up your copy of Repair Me!! And now a bit about the story ...
Sky has just discovered her long time boyfriend is cheating on her. She tries to escape him by running off to the beach to meet up with some friends. On the way her car breaks down and she is rescued by one HOT mechanic. She has his own share of problems though. His mother left them when they were children, his father became an alcoholic, and when his sister died tragically in a car accident a year ago he was forced to drop out of college and come home to take care of his father who couldn't cope with the lose of his daughter, nor run a business while drunk most of the time. Together Sky and Ford fight battles and work towards repairing each other, first their own and then Ashley enters the picture. Sky thinks it is too soon to be falling for someone. Ford thinks he isn't good enough for Sky. Ashley sees an opportunity to drive a wedge between them and get her ex-boyfriend back. Give this book a try and see what measures she will go to and who ends up needing repaired in the end.
Favorite quotes: - "You’re an addiction that I could get used to havin’ around.” - "I hope you gave him a stiff kick in the balls for what he did to you.” He let out an air filled laugh. “He won’t be invited to Thanksgiving dinner, that’s for sure.” - My dad threw up his hands. “I really don’t want details. I know you’re an adult, but there are some things a dad doesn’t want to hear.” - “There’s only one thing that tastes better.” “What’s that?” I took a sip of my coffee. “You!” Coffee went flying out of my nose and I began to choke. I couldn’t believe he’d just said that. - “You don’t have to fight for me, darlin’, because I don’t plan on goin’ anywhere. You’re too great to let go of again.”

Replace Me (Kin #2)
One broken heart, send in the replacements... Great continuation of the Kin series. We get to keep caught up with Ford and Sky, as well as learn what comes next for Shayne and Lacey. I even cared about Ashley... Jennifer has a knack of getting you to like a previous books villain. And now a bit about the book...
Lacey's heart is broken. Shayne not only cheated on her, but now he was telling everyone Ashley was pregnant with his kid. How could he do this to her? Why does she always pick the wrong guy? To keep her mind off Shayne, she had started spending time at Sky and Ford's on the weekend. However, her heart couldn't take listening to them all night long. She stepped out of the apartment only to run into Joey. Ford's cousin, newest neighbor, and resident bad boy. She knew she should go back inside, but what the heck... As Lacey gets closer to Joey, Shayne and Ashley have moved in together... You'll never guess what happens next... Give this book a try and meet the newest bad boy!
Favorite passages: - I crossed my hands over my chest. "Staring isn't going to get in anywhere near my underwear." He looked over to make sure they weren't coming back into the room. "You can keep your panties in your dresser. There's no reason to wear them around me. - "When it happens, and it will be happenin', I won't be the one askin' for it. Now, do you want a ride or not?"

Restore Me (Kin #2.5/3)
Wow - Joey wasn't what I expected! In Replace Me we met Joey, but we never knew what he was thinking. Restore Me tells us the same story of Lacey and Joey, but only from Joey's perspective. For being a supposed player he wasn't what I expected. Lacey had a bigger influence on his life than he was willing to admit for a long time, but as one of my favorite passages says, was she worth it? And now a bit about the story...
Joey is hard a work for his mom (his second job) when he first sees her. She is HOT! But she is with his cousin Ford's cousin Shayne. What he wouldn't give to add her to his schedule. She'd fit in nice between Porsche and Candace! Then after his mom convinces him it is time to get a place of his own he comes face to face with her and she is free of Shayne. Now just to get her - he uses his cocky ways to get close to her, but to his surprise she is worming her way into his heart. What will he do when she breaks it! And why can't he seem to perform with other women now ... what has she done to him!
Favorite passages: - It was one of my NAN rules. No strings. Always protected. No feelings...ever! - My mother took out the last bag of trash and came in to say she was leaving. “Before you go, I think it’s a good idea to tell your cousin you’re movin’ in. I’m real proud of you, son.” I hugged her. “Thanks. What happens if I have a bad dream?” I pretended to act like a child. - The game had already been thrown out the window. I was diving into uncharted territory with a woman that made me feel things I didn’t want to feel. - He had no idea how spot on he was. “No woman will be gettin’ in my head.” - I just didn’t know if I was willing to change my life for a piece of ass, no matter how good it was. - You make me feel alive and like nobody ever has before... - In that little amount of time, she’d shown me what it was like to want to be with someone and then taken it all away.

Remember Me (Kin #4)
The best memories are bitter sweet
Another Jennifer Foor hit!! She took characters that we may not have liked or hated in previous books and made us fall in love with them and fight for them. There are tears as you can't imagine this happening to you. Frustration at the evil bad people getting the upper hand. But also lots of humor, passion, joy, and hard work. And now a bit about the story...
Ash and Shayne were happy and in love. About to become parents to twins, yet have never made love. Shayne started by taking his brothers place, but as he watched Ash and the babies grow they feel in love. When tragedy struck recently after the twins were born Shayne was lost and wasn't sure how he and Ash would beat the odds, would his memories be enough?
Favorite passages: - “The hell we can’t. She’s coming. Make sure you have pants on.” - “You don’t have to chase me. I’m already yours.” - “You know, I don’t care how long it takes. I’m goin’ to prove them all wrong. I’m goin’ to show our whole family, and Ash’s that I can be a good father. One day they’ll apologize for doubting me. You mark my words, cuz. I’m goin’ to be the best f*ck*n’ father those kids could ever have.” - “You’ve got to have patience and faith. It’s the only way.” - “At least if you tried and fail, you can look back and know that you didn’t give up.”

Reject Me (Kin #5)
Rejection has to stop at some point, right?
I'm never disappointed with a Jennifer Foor book. I think this was my third in a row and I still have a few more to go! This one didn't have near as many tears as some, but the humor, frustration, and passion were all there! And now a bit about the story...
This book focused on Peyton and Jamey. He would say they were friends with benefits, but she wanted more and he hadn't seen anyone else in the past year, but wouldn't commit. The path to commitment was a long one and it involved some jail time, would Jamey be able to do it?
Favorite passages: - I swear, sometimes he used more hairspray than I did. - More lies to add to the pile. Next I would be sent to jail for being a con-artist. My mother would be so proud. - “Then make amends with your boyfriend. Just know that if I find out he’s cheatin’ I’m going to have his balls removed with a steak knife.”

Redeem Me (Kin #6)
Getting life out of the way!
Another great Jennifer Foor story! Complete with humor, love, frustrating evil parents, drama, and babies!! We get to meet Peyton and Jamey's little one! And now a bit about the story...
Poor Parker, he just can't catch a break. His family still is not happy with him and his girl, Cameron, desperately wants to know his secret. He wants to tell her, but just can't. You'll never believe how she finds out or what happens next!
Favorite passage: Yours is learnin’ how to accept that we can’t change our future. You need to learn that sometimes life gets in the way.

Renew Me (Kin #6.5/7)
Be prepared for the tears... though there is a happy ending :) The couple that started it all brings the series to an end with their wedding! And now a bit about the story...
Planning a wedding can be so stressful, so Ford has taking to distracting Sky from her worries of colors, cakes, flowers, etc with sex. It makes them both forget their troubles, at least for a while. Until they are on the way to the beach for a little weekday excursion when they get the call that could end it all. And makes the worries of the wedding seem trivial...
Favorite passages: - “Promise me when we get married that you’ll never wear granny underwear.” - “You’re worried I’m goin’ to be bald aren’t you?”
so realistically I bought the set to read only Peyton's book on this but ended up reading Parker's to. Spoilers...........I was absolutely heartbroken for Ashley's kids to have to find out that one day their Uncle was their dad and he never wanted them but he wanted his new kid. That was a very screwed up family dynamic to write especially how unfeeling he was about it saying they were just his niece and nephew and would buy them presents. Like that would make up for abandoning them to your brother to raise. I just broke and was mad and hated Parker with every fiber one could hate a made up character. His family too for letting that be ok. Those kids would grow to need therapy even if Shayne was the best surrogate dad in the world especially after finding out including his new kid. That storyline itself I would have given one star it was soooooo messed up!!!!
Repair Me – the story of Ford and Sky. Sky finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her and heads for the beach to be with her friends. On the way her car breaks down in the middle of no where. Ford is sent to pick her up by his dad that found her. They agree to a one night stand but her car takes longer than one day to be fixed so they continue to see each other. As they are falling for each other Fords ex wants him back and stops at nothing to get him along with family drama he can’t get a break.
Replace Me – the story of Lacy and Shane or should we say the breakup of Lacy and Shane. Their relationship isn’t as solid as it should be, Shayne basically realizes he doesn’t truly love Lacy when he makes a decision to help out Ashley who gets knocked up by his brother Parker. Lacey realizes she didn’t truly love Shayne when she hooks up with Joey. I have never read a book quite like this one but it was very good, the story line was handled very well and you are happy with their choices.
Restore me – This is Joeys POV in the Replace me book with Lacy. I didn’t read this book since it was back to back stories. Will save for another time.
Remember me – The story of Shayne and Ashley. You really feel like Shayne cannot get a break with all he faces. All the obstacles in his path with the paternity of the children, then Ashley has an aneurysm and you don’t know if she will live or not. Losing custody of the twins, her recovery, and the house he buys for them. The family finally comes together and they do get their HEA.
Reject me – The story of Peyton and Jamey. Peyton being Shaynes sister and Jamey being Joey’s brother that we have not seen that much of so far in the series. They have seen each other off and on for over a year however for Jamey it was not a committed relationship, but for Peyton, she was in love with him. She decides she cannot live without a commitment and ends the relationship; this makes Jamey realize she does mean more to him than he thought and he works to get her back.
Redeem Me – This is the story of Parker and Cameron who we have yet to meet in the series. Parker is Peyton’s twin brother and Shayne’s younger brother. Cameron was the only child of two attorneys that had her whole life mapped out with little regard to what she may want. After pressing Parker for the “family secret” he decided that to protect the family he needs to break up with her. Family first but it kills both of them. They work things out and Cameron finds out she is pregnant, bringing Parkers past full circle. Cam finds out the secret after all and it nearly destroys both of them. After her parents interference in their lives, threatening to keep them apart they decide to elope. Their little girl is born and they both begin new careers and their new family is priority in their life.
Renew Me- Ford and Sky Wedding Novella – We come back to the beginning of the series with Ford an Sky. They are preparing for their wedding when Ford suffers a devastating loss but finds out he is going to be a father.
This was a good series and I enjoyed all the characters, the writing was good however some editing is needed.
Just finished Repair Me (Book 1) Loved it can't wait to read the next story!
Ok. So, I'm a little over half way through the second book 'Replace Me' and I absolutely love it. The first love scene between Lacey and Joey HOT! Having said that, I do have one correction. In chapter 17, when Shayne and Ashley are sitting on the couch while he comforts her, She says "Don't be nice to me about Joey, Shayne. I know you helped him get back with Lacey." I think you are supposed to put 'Ford' in place of 'Joey' and 'Sky' in place of 'Lacey'. Other than that it's awesome. Ok, I just finished the second book, and I LOVE IT. I love Joey, the bad boy, and Lacey. I love Shayne and Ashley, Ford and Sky, and all the other characters. I can't wait to read the next book. Will write more after the next story.
Ok I just finished book 3 'Restore Me' which is told from Joey's POV, and I loved it. It was a nice change to read an entire book told from the guys perspective. Can't wait for the next story. Off to read Book 4.
I rated all of these books individually but I'm also going to do it as a whole. beware while reading....all the men are douchebags! even though they redeem themselves at some point they are still a bunch of jackasses. now because the boys were jackasses this resulted in histerics from the ladies. I mean I'm not sure but I think half of this series was crying. I'm serious! you can rip out all of the tears pages and have a book itself. all of the couples were too young and immature to have any type of relationship. the men were punks and the girls were stupid. the unplanned pregnancies were way overdone as well.
there is a bonus novella that is not listed alone on the series list that is in this bundle. it is about ford and skys wedding. nothing to write home about.
all and all I will probably never look to read anything from jennifer again. just a lot of repetition. a lttle young for me. I always look for new authors. I'm sure there is a crowd out there for this its just not me
I had already read the previous books but bought this novella for the Renew Me novella that was included. Sky and Ford are planning their wedding and just when things look almost perfect, tragedy strikes and Ford is left reeling. Sky and Ford were still hard to like. Sky was always so eager to please Ford that it left me shaking my head at times. Ford was still pretty self-centered and did not care what he said or how it came across. The fact that Sky was scared to tell Ford her life altering news even though they were going to get married was just kind of sad. It did have a nice ending and wrapped up the series pretty well but there was just drama upon drama that did not give me a warm happy feeling but just made me feel blah about it.
Totally Awesome! I couldn't put it down. I knew Jennifer would not disappoint, since I read her Mitchell/Haley series I'm just disappointed I had not read it earlier. I was so engulfed in these stories of love for one another and not just as lovers but as family. I fell in love, I laughed, I cried and hard!, I got so angry I put down my tablet but picked up in seconds to continue ready. How so much love overcame so much misery and stupid stupid thinking was beyond me. I always said family is family, you can't choose them or them you but you can be there when shit hits the fan. Boy did it hit the fan in this family... drama! Loved it so much. Thank J.F. for such a Great read!
This is not the first or the last book by Jenn Foor I'll ever read. Jenn does not disappoint me at all she knows how to keep you in intrigued and in to the story, I never can put her books done. I felt like a like a had watched these kids grow up. I fell in love with each and everyone of the characters watching the grow up from the Mitchell family series. There is still the togetherness of family that was portrayed in the first series except now you are seeing how the kids take there place in life. I suggest you go out get this serie and Mitchell if you havent already sit back and enjoy a wonderful family dynamic characters unfold.
I have had this box set sitting on my kindle for a few months, because I have been in abit of a book funk I thought I would read it as it is so different to what I have been reading and I am so pleased I did, I loved it. I was hooked by book 1. All 6 are brilliant. I laughed, cried, shouted at one point I had to put the kindle down as the characters in a certain book were really getting to me. But it is so worth reading. I was on the edge of my seat a few times, there are a few surprises in store, in the books. Jennifer Foor knows how to hold your interest within the book you are reading.
Wow what a fantastic box set......The Kin series is a must read, it all about a family that sticks together through the heartaches, the laughs and the betrayals.... they LOVE each other no matter what.
Skylar and Ford started off this lovely journey and it ended with them getting their happily ever after....along with the other couples, they all had to find their way to their happiness.....The Cooper/Hutchinson clan and their loved ones made you feel like you were a part of their blended family.
I gave this book this rating because it was a very, very good series of books. I loved the way the families stood by each other. In each book in the series there was a message, but the main message is that anyone can change. They way the guys loved there ladies was amazing. I recommend this book to all romance, and I do mean romance readers.
I loved every single book!! Ford and Shane are just dreamy!! I left individual reviews on Goodreads except for Renew Me it wasn't an option. I was so scared when Ford was faced with another devastating life event. I thought for sure he was going to bail like he did before. I'm so glad he didn't and they got their happily ever after.
I was hooked on this series from the very first book. I hated when I had to put it down. I absolutely loved all the characters (even the ones that were being jerks) but my favorite couple was Ford and Sky.
I totally enjoyed the Kin Series. The characters are great, and the storylines are good too. It gets slightly confusing as to how everyone is related, but not enough to mess with the stories.
Wow this was an amazing box set! Each story is about a different cousin. Ford was my favorite or all the cousins. Some of the books left me stunned. The people who I thought would end up together didn't.
Amazing!! I loved reading about all the cousins. What a fantastic series!! I loved reading all the trials each couple went through, how it all began and ended!
