Review of advance copy received from Author

It was so great to get back to Delia, Lucian, Volkov, Claire, Steve and Angel in the fourth book of the Accidental Exorcist series, Hungry as Sin! Delia’s been asked to investigate when people associated with a hot new restaurant turn up dead. The pressure mounts when Claire starts showing odd symptoms after she and Delia sample the menu as part of their investigation. To add to that, Delia’s seeing shadows in unexpected places and Lucian keeps popping out at the worst time, but one way or the other, Delia’s got this.

I really like Delia, she’s come a long way as an exorcist since we first met her and I love seeing her in action banishing demons! There’s so much to love in this series, Delia’s found a family in Claire and Steve and she’s going to do whatever she has to in order to protect them. Lucian...I love Lucian and can’t get enough of him and Delia together. I really appreciated getting chapters from his perspective (more please!), especially since we get to learn more about demon culture and hierarchy. Originally I thought Volkov was just going to be a side character, but after this book, I’m even more curious about him. There’s a lot of love in this book--I love all the quirky neighbors in their building, I love the bowling ball that kept me laughing, I loved the suspense as to how things would be resolved, this book has it all! I’m really enjoying this series and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Steve leveling up, Claire finding herself in yet another impossible situation, Lucian being unapologetically Lucian, Volkov finally making his move, and yes—that bowling ball. This book delivers everything fans of the series have been waiting for and then some.
The character development is outstanding. Steve continues to grow and evolve in ways that feel both earned and exciting, while Claire's struggles keep the stakes high and the pages turning. Lucian steals every scene he's in with his trademark attitude, wit, and unpredictability, and Volkov's actions add a whole new layer of tension that had me anxiously waiting to see what would happen next.
The story perfectly balances action, humor, suspense, and emotional moments. Just when you think you know where things are headed, another twist appears and pulls you even deeper into the story. The pacing is relentless, making it nearly impossible to find a good stopping point.
And then there's the bowling ball—without giving away spoilers, let's just say it's one of those moments you'll be thinking about long after you finish the book.
If you've been following these characters, this installment does not disappoint. The stakes are higher, the relationships are more complicated, and the payoffs are incredibly satisfying. Once you start reading, be prepared to lose sleep because you will not want to put this book down until you reach the very last page.

I really enjoyed Hungry as Sin. The story of their current customer Hernadez the cop asking them to investigate some of the local restaurants because of odd issues happening. Clair and Steve heard of some possible Voodoo cuisine being part of some restaurant’s newest hypes to attract new customers.

While they are trying to find out what’s happening a new client Chef Jessica of the Delicto Restaurant wants Delia to investigate her husband Chef Zach who might be trying to kill her.
The adventure into the Delicto restaurant leads them all into a unique situation that requires Delia’s exorcist skills. They find themselves on an accelerated timeline to find out about the voodoo cuisine and a possible Demon interaction that is also part of these issues.
There are deaths and illnesses that are happening fast. Her friend Clair is getting sicker by the day as is Chef Jessica. Between Delia, Clair, Steve, Roy, Lucian and Volkov they research and discuss possibilities to end this situation. It’s a great story that I found interesting and compelled to finish. The finish of this story leads us into the possibility of new avenues for Delia’s company to deal with in the books to come.

I was offered this book prior to the book release to write a review. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in voodoo, and exorcist.

This author never fails to surprise with her originality and super story-telling! I love her writing. This book is another epic adventure into the world of 'The Accidental Exorcist'. A dynamic, intriguing, sexy storyline that keeps you gripped and entertained throughout. Starting with a very odd ten pin bowling ball and progressing through to gastronomic catastrophes, this books originality is unquestionable! If you haven't read the preceding books, it doesn't matter, but I would highly recommend them. I'm now looking forward to the next book! Highly recommended!

Another story with bite, snark, and a dash of sunshine from the side characters. Who doesn't love a resourceful snarky main character? I didn't think these would be enjoyable, and while they take more effort for me to read, they have been worth the effort!

If you are a fan of Jenn's writing style, and want to try a darker twist, this is the series for you.

An honest, brief, review of my ARC.

Book four in the accidental exorcist series is to die for! The sixth level gluttony demon was a fun and slightly gross addition to the cast of demons that need purged. The inner workings of the demon hierarchy is so interesting to read about. I can’t wait to see what new and naughty activities the group gets into next.

I was a lucky recipient of an advanced reader copy of this story. I am leaving a honest review of my own free will.

This for me was purely original. I was so taken aback by how unique was. Right from start it grabbed me and pulled me in. I loved the storyline, the characters, the entirety of this. The world building was excellent. And it had a vividness to it that pulled me into the story with ease. I was definitely invested in this. Had the best time reading it, and I’ll def be going back for more.

This was a thought provoking, deep storyline. I kept thinking "whoa, where did that thought come from?" Demons, the fall, what's with the people in the restaurant, what's with Volkov. So many questions lol. Great story. Delia and Lucian.
