Remy (strange name for a girl ,usually French male name) grew up with a feminist mother and a grandmother. Jan had her at 17 .Now, at 44, she has a husband ten years younger and is about to have her second child.
Remy was a child prodigy, had her PhD in computer science at 20 , worked in a big company for several years.Then she got a burn out ,was exhausted and landed in a hospital. So Remy quit her job and went globe-trotting, learning to cook along the way.Now she is in California's wine coiuntry, on her way to Jan's.She stops in a small town of Belleview and meets a local, Robert , called Bo. They spend the night together and part their ways.
