Just like the end of the fairy-tale tattooed on my arm, the evil queen is no more. You’d think that would mean Abigail and I could get our happy ever after, and our story would fade to black. But it’s not that easy. Now, there are people who know our secret, and are willing to use it against us. There’s a storm coming our way. We’ve endured so much, and survived it with our relationship kept secret. But is our devotion strong enough to brave the reality of the world, an angry ex-husband, and a father who blames me for his undoing? Can we survive?
Find out what fate has in store for Sebastian and Abigail in this gripping conclusion of the Stepsister Devotion serial by debut author, Eve Cates.
Eve Cates is a twenty-something author of contemporary romance. She loves all things naughty, demanding men and difficult situations (pass the popcorn please). Her first series, StepSister Devotion, will be told in four parts, releasing via Kindle Unlimited.
Eve has loved writing ever since she picked up her first crayon and penned a note to her imaginary friend 'Pok'. Accused of being a 'dreamer' as she grew, she's taken that notion and turned her daydreams into stories to delight and satisfy her readers.
When she isn't writing, you'll find her at home with her husband, four children, and two dogs.
After three previous installments, the A Stepbrother Romance serial has finally met its end. I enjoyed these books by Eve Cates quite a bit and as you can see from my earlier reviews, with each new part of the story, it just got better and better.
Of course, StepSister Devotion IV picks up after the heart stopping conclusion of part three. I couldn't get my hands on this one fast enough. I needed the end of Abi and Seb's story so badly.
I liked this serial quite a bit. It was a hard fought ending for these characters but left me completely satisfied as to where they ended up. I was so happy I finally got a POV from Abigail! I wanted to hear her voice so badly!
This is part four and the final book in the series, and cannot be read as a standalone. I'd give this part a rating of 4 stars. The serial as a whole, I give 4 stars. ~ Erin, 4 stars
Synopsis : Just like the end of the fairy-tale tattooed on my arm, the evil queen is no more. But is our devotion strong enough to brave the reality of the world, an angry ex-husband, and a father who blames me for his undoing? Can we survive? Review: Whew! This was one hell of a roller coaster ride. Through all of the truckloads of crap flung their way, Sebastian and Abigail are still going strong. For the sake of Abigail's son and her company they've decided to keep their relationship a secret for a while longer. Or so they thought. It seems that everyone is trying to break them apart and destroy everything they have. They're ready to forget her company and his music and run away to start over. This story is non stop. I wasn't able to put it down. I found myself rooting for Seb and Abbi and cheering the fact the the evil stepmother died. If you're looking for a scorching action packed good read this is the series for you.
I liked this series... I wasn't in love.. just in DEEP LIKE for it.. author kept you on your toes with this one.. but the end did feel a lil rushed... I liked reading from the male pov.. usually I am all about multiple... but this series worked with just one... this author kept my attention with this one... the relationship between Sebastian and Abigail was so back and forth... but they could not stay away from each other...
All in all.. good read.. good series.. well written... drama drama drama! "/>
Part Four and the final of this series, Eve Cates delivers on romance, passion, family, forgiveness, resolutions and lifetime devotion.
StepSister Abi and StepBrother Seb have hurdles to overcome but all storylines are neatly tied up and there are some characters that I did not like which in this part had me forgiving them by the end of the book - interesting.
I am keeping this review short and sweet as there is so much happening in this final part that I do not want to ruin it for anyone.
The only thing I will say is that I did find this final part a bit rushed for me and I do understand with everything that needed to be resolved and perhaps I was not really ready to leave Seb and Abi just yet? One other thing and this is just my opinion but I think these four parts would have made a knock your socks off book - I probably would have locked myself away for two days or called in sick at work as it flowed really well from book one all the way through to book four and there was so much suspense and the way we saw their lives from young children to adults was fantastic.
I was so excited about this series!! I absolutely fell in love with Sebastian. Not very many books I read that I like are told all through the male POV but this one is series is amazing!!! And finally we come to book 4!!!
When book 3 ended I have could not wait for book 4. With each book, I wanted more but especially book 4!! Finally Seb and Abby are getting their lives together. Seb finds out secrets that Abby has been holding and I cannot express how happy I was. Abby and Seb have to make some pretty hard choices but they know it’s best for both of them. My feelings for Abigail changed completely in this book. Once I knew the truth, I felt just as bad for her as I did for Sebastian. There was one part at the end of the book that I was literally holding my breath. I was terrified of the outcome. I really enjoyed this series! I don’t want to give too much away but this story with literally make you laugh, cry, scream, yell, throw your kindle across the room and a little of everything in between. Don’t miss out on this crazy and wild ride with Seb and Abby.
Again Eve Cates rocks me with her dedication " ....for everyone who ever loved someone they couldn't have."
Sebastian finally opens up to his mother and tells her about his love for Abigail and he shares their story. I appreciate how his mother is there for him and just listens without judgment and she love and supports him , she shows love, compassion and understanding ♥
One would think with Cynthia gone Seb and Abigail could carry on with their lives as per normal but sadly they still have a few hurdles to overcome ♥
It was nice to see Abigail's point of view and to be in her thoughts and experience her feelings. All through the series my heart broke only for Seb and in book #4 a little more light is shed on Abigail and her emotions. I must admit I feel a little guilty for being so harsh.Near the end of the book I'm hyterical ! I'm screaming, crying ,begging and pleading ! Help comes from an unlikely source....thank you ♥
It's a bittersweet farewell , I wish all the characters much love and happiness♥
Abigail and Seb you will always have a piece of my heart !A final shout from the rooftops ★★★★★ read
What a great conclusion. While not all that much exciting happened in the final part it was so nice that everything came together and we got many answers. I think my favorite part was finally getting to read the much talked about letter Abigail wrote Sebastian. Throughout the series we have been privy to Sebastian's feelings, but Abigail was all over the place. The letter solved many mysteries of her feelings throughout all we have read. I also enjoyed the bit of a twist Eve Cates threw in at the end and enjoyed that we got to go back to where it all started in the first part. Wonderfully written story that kept you twisting, turning, and crossing your fingers the whole way through!
This book was the PERFECT ending to this amazing, I could not put down each book of this series.. So well written, so incredibly entertaining. I loved every single minute of it. I don't want to give anything away. But Seb got the perfect HEA.
I am so incredibly sad this is over.. I still want more, if that is even possible. I absolutely love Abi and Seb. I could not read this series fast enough...So good. I am looking forward for more work from Eve Cates. Such a great book.. I have a complete happy content feeling.. Perfect conclusion to one of the best series I have read in a long time.
Book 4 was just too good to put down. I read it in 1 sitting and actually stopped reading another book to finish the series. I can't believe it is over though, but what an ending.
So much happened in this book and it all came together. I couldn't be happier for Zeb and Abigail that they finally get what they have been searching for forever.
I will say I screamed during at one part and truly though that the author wouldn't be that mean to have happened what is implied, but in the end all went well.
Thank you for this series I truly enjoyed it and was thrilled and honored that I received advance copies of the book for review. I look forward to Eve's next book offering.

I have loved this whole series from the very first book. To see Sebastian and Abigail grow and survive through every book. This is truly an amazing love story. the trials these faced apart and together , to see that their love for each other was to strong to keep them apart I felt every word and couldn't put the book down. I would have loved more, but was glad to see how it ended. This whole series is definitely a must read, this isn't your typical step siblings love story.
I am happy dancing right now!! The ending to this series was absolutely perfect. Eve completely nailed it! I am so happy things worked out and that Seb and Abi were finally able to get their happy every after. Everyone who deserved it got their just desserts and Abi and Seb together really did prove that love conquers all. A wonderful end to a wonderful 4 part series! 5 stars
I loved this series very addictive love they had was undying and very believable. You are sick when you love someone and can't be together and it does start all over again when you see them if you truly love that person because distance doesn't take the love away. Also the storyline was excellent and well thought out. I could see it really happening. I LOVED IT!!!!
I highly recommend taking a chance on this series. I am so glad I did. Eve Cates wrote an engrossing and fast read in all four parts. This was an amazing journey of two people from youth to adulthood, struggling with a forbidden romance. This lives up to the rest of the books and its a great conclusion to the series. Since all 4 parts are out go pick it up!!!
i hate that abigail was weak, wouldn't stand up for seb, hid things from him and thought she had NO OTHER CHOICE in things. all their heartache was unnecessary and it seemed like seb hurt sooo much more than she did. bottomline, for me, abigail was selfish. seb deserved so much better. i only finished the book for seb.

Abigail and Sebastian are the best and I am so happy that they finally got their happy ever after. After every thing that they had to go though they are finally happy and have the family that they always wanted..
