Getting his guys out of jail, firing his 'sneak', and getting Mickey into line... its all in a days work for Joshua. Joshua and Tiffany hit a roadblock in their developing relationship, all thanks to Mickey's big mouth. Joshua has to face up to himself and the fact he has made a big mistake believing him. Tiffany is left reeling by Joshua's cruel treatment. She's beyond angry and so upset she's about the strangle him.
And now she has another problem. One very big one.

34 books23 followersI like to read books with a helluva good story as well as the superheated hot stuff, and that's the kind of thing I like to write.
The story is of utmost importance in my mind. The characters and details fit into that framework. And I take a lot of care over my characters and details.
I'm a self confessed love-a-holic, living in my heated imagination. Not that that's a bad place to be living, but it does make ordinary, day to day life, a little less than exciting at times.
I have to kick myself up the backside now and then and remind myself that books is books and life is life. LOL
I've read hundreds of books in a variety of genres - love, mystery, intrigue - and to be honest, I enjoy a little gruesome horror as well. Shocking, scary, downright gory really gets me going.
I worked in finance until a few years ago, and if you've ever read Hot Options, one of my books, you'll see a real glimpse of the old me in there. All the technical stuff is true to life.
My office is my comfy sofa and my even comfier bed. YES, it really is. I sit on my bed and type like a pro getting up to 5k words out on some days.

Just when I thought Ms Liss would end things, she upped the notch even more! Though this is a short read, I surmise I'll read this in one sitting even if it were a full length novel, just because it's written by her.
The whirlwind attraction between Joshua and Tiffany was built on just that - attraction/lust/chemistry. I like how the author put some big barriers between them that 'caused a major rift, all because of the seed of doubt planted by a shady character in Josh's mind.
There were really a lot of developments here and it got my heart racing. There were some events that shed new light to things, and it makes one wonder if Joshua and Tiffany would have a HEA. I don't mind that it's a short read because only the most concise details are here; no dilly-dallying, just straight up an interesting story. I was figuratively on the edge of my seat and patiently awaiting the next installment in the series.

What a Cliffhanger!
I love Katrina's books, but I hate her so much right now!!! She just left me wanting more so badly! I don't know how I will be able to wait for her to write the next installment. The end of this one was just so good!
There are several major twists in this part of the story. For a shorter book, this packed a lot of punch. I was very entertained by it. I highly recommend this series!
