Victoria Andalucci and her 16-year-old son, Tyler, are enjoying a fun-filled vacation at Club Paradise in Mexico. A typical teenager, Tyler spends his days on the beach with the other teens from Club Chevere, while his mother attends a conference and explores Mexico. Her quest for adventure is definitely quenched, as she ventures out of the resort and finds herself alone and in a perilous fight for her life! Will she survive the treacherous predicament long enough for someone to save her?

Victoria Andalucci y su hijo de 16 años, Tyler, se van de vacaciones al Club Paradise en México. Un adolescente típico, Tyler pasa sus días en la playa con los otros adolescentes del Club Chevere, mientras su madre asiste a una conferencia y explora México. Pero luego Victoria es confundida con la chica equivocada, es secuestrada y se la trata mal. Ella hace muchas cosas para escapar. Tyler no se da cuenta de que su madre ha desaparecido hasta más tarde. Luego conoce a una niña y el padre de la niña ayuda a encontrar a la madre de Tyler. Más tarde la encuentran porque encuentran su retenedor. Más tarde, Victoria y su ortodoncista se convierten en novio y novia.

Al principio, no me gustaba el libro. Pensé que era una cuenta de amor pero cuando ella fue a México, estaba en un estado de shock del secuestro. Solo que no me gustaba es que no se que va a pasar a los hombres.

Me gustó este libro mucho. Me daría cinco estrellas an Goodreads porque me gustan mucho los libros de suspenso. Era muy chistoso también y el argumento era buena. Yo lo recomiendo este libro a alguin aprendiendo español.

El libro era muy bien. Me gusta el cuento porque tenia mucho accion y era muy divertido. La sola cosa que no me gusta era que ellos habian encontraron a Vanesa por sus retenedores y no por la not a hebrero. De todos todos, el libro es un libro bueno para leer.

Me interesó mucho este libro. Había suspenso y era chistoso, en particular, me dio risa la relación entre el ortodontista y la mujer y la vergüenza que la cual causó a su pobre hijo Tyler. No estaba esperando el cambio en el argumento que de repente pasó con el secuestre de la mujer en México. Después de leer el epilogo, pienso que tenía un buen fin también. Se lo recomiendo a todos mis estudiantes en nivel 3 y 4. Me gustó.

Je n'aimais pas le livre. J'ai le donné deux étoiles au lieu de un parce que j'ai appris des mots de vocabulaire nouvelles et utiles. Mais, je n'ai pas besoin de lire le livre pour apprendre les mots. J'aime lire les livres en français parce que j'aime practiquer ma français, mais je pense que je peut trouver quelques livres que sont plus interessants.

(S'il y a erreurs de grammaire en cette critique, je suis désolée. Je n'ai pas parlé francais depuis très longtemps.)

A good story although there were quite a number of words I had to skip.It did get frustrating a couple of time when I would run into a word a 2nd or maybe 3rd time and would look it up in the glossary in the back and not find the word. Next time I read it I will keep track of such words

A simple but good read for beginner/intermediate Spanish students. The glossary in this book wasn't as helpful as it could have been. It had simple words any beginner would know like 'azul' but left out lesser known words. This is written primarily in preterite & imperfect tenses.
