This is urban fantasy at its finest. The plot is fast-paced and hard to put down. Ava is a strong and independent main character willing to do anything to protect her friends and family. The side characters are complex enough that you won't see the end coming until it hits you.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed "A Discovery of Witches" or the Sookie Stackhouse Series.
