Though you couldn't get a clear protrait of the personals described here, you can get a overview about them and the way they lead the life. Only few books haven't deviate from the title. It's one among them. It's not the book about the people everyday you hear. It's about the people who inspired even them.
I dare to say this book Will be an eye opener to your world politics rather than it mostly concern about communism.

The book has lofty goals and falls short of it big time ,especially in the badly written chapters on Simon Bolivar and Jose Marti. The author tries to over-simplify things resulting in confusion instead of clarity.
