This book was a very entertaining read and surprisingly engaging. I felt transported into the world similar to anytime I watch a slice of life anime. Truly that’s what I was imagining. The characters interactions, the world, everything felt like a classic anime rom com I would watch and be obsessed with. All the moments I felt annoyed with our MC felt absolved of criticism as I looked through that anime lens.

There were some moments that I felt myself getting annoyed with the direction of decision making by characters that felt unrealistic. But overall it was what you expect out of a love triangle story.

I enjoyed My Choice. Misa is a new favorite character for me! The story was a fun read. My mouth dropped open from the very beginning when Misa's mom announced that Ken was moving in as her fiancé. I enjoyed reading about Misa's connection with her friends as she learned to navigate love. Every character, from Ken to Sano, has a piece of my heart. I am excited for book two!

I won this book through Goodreads. Imagine being a sixteen year old girl, in high school. That is a hard enough time. Then to find out your parents have arranged a marriage for you. You will now have a boyfriend that they have chosen for you. Not how she wanted high school to be. It only gets more complicated fro there.

I loved the characters and the hilarious banter between them. Katie, Ken, John, and Jayson quickly became my favorites. It's an easy, fun read that's perfect for just enjoying a good story, and I really enjoy how it stood out from the typical love story.
