Troy rushes to the hospital after hearing of the death of his sister and brother-in-law was killed in an accident to be with his niece, Emily. To his surprise, his sister and brother-in-law had named an old flame of his, an Amish woman, Wendy Graber, Emily's guarding. What were they thinking? He was so much more capable of taking care of Emily. What a clash of worlds is this ever going to be. Can Troy and Wendy ever learn to work together for Emily's best interest? You will enjoy this along with the other books in This Amish Baby Collection series. Samantha Price has done a wonderful job, as always. I have been given an ARC of The Promise: Amish Romance (Amish Baby Collection Book 2), in exchange for my honest opinion.

Very good short read book

It is very easy to read and easy to put yourself in that situation, you never know from one day to the next what can happen a very surprised ending. Feel like the book should go on with changes etc

Good book

Good book always liked Samantha Price's writing Wrapped up too quickly at the end though. Would have liked Troy thinking about his faith during the story. Not so rushed at the end.

Promise

Good read: The struggle between two cultures (Amish and English) over custody of an infant orphaned through a fatal accident. The child's uncle feels duty bound to raise her, but the parents left instruction via a will that the child be raised in the Amish community.

A story of love.

This book was full of suspense. It was very well written. The love of Emily brought the uncle and the Amish woman together.
